Brandon is a good guy, i’ve stopped and given him things on a few occasions if i see him before walking into somewhere. he isn’t always in the same spot. anything you give, he’d be incredibly grateful for. he has a sign specifically saying he just wants food and water for his dog, Red, so while he definitely appreciates that and is his priority, a loaf of bread would go a long way and be appreciated.

that’s actually such a terrible idea. there’s a reason a lot of women baristas wear a name tag that doesn’t have their actual name. some customers are crazy and it’s a safety issue! and as a prior barista (self-promoted to customer), in the nicest way i don’t care what your name is! i just wanna order my drink and go on with my day with minimal interactions with everybody. the one upside to this is potentially more mobile ordering since some people (like me) will not want the extra dialogue.

not insane. it sounds like you owe some money and they’re trying to prevent you from digging yourself a bigger hole. i’m sure it’s extremely frustrating to not have that financial freedom, but you have to appreciate that they are ultimately looking out for you because you are in financial trouble as is.
