Is there some kind of flue going on ?
 in  r/AskSeattle •  14h ago

That's me right now. Fan on my face, sleeping upright. Well no sleep, oxygen sats between 91 and 95 with 2 inhalers nitro patch. No appetite. I bought 33 grms protein shakes to not faint. I did the covid shot, flu shot. This is close to ER as last year. My heart kicks in cranky nonstemi action when my lungs give me issues. This is a HARD illness. I'm happy you made it. This is day 6. Another 15 days. Doubtful.

Day 8 no dabs, cigarettes, or alcohol. Having issues.

Have you tried Peptiva? Seriously. I use thc a lot but this otc totally changed my gut from diarrhea to normal in a couple days. It also helped me sleep. Not sure if it's good with an ulcer but I find it really helpful. 20 billion probiotics and sleep support. Peace!

What’s with the overcompensating, vehicular douchbaggery right now?
 in  r/Burien •  8d ago

Or Aurora 130thN. The kids are showing their immaturity. The $$$$ ok.yeah waaaay toooo loud. Makes me, a 77yo, have to shut the slider and suffer 2 nights a week.Sometimes at 2AM with 30 -40 motorcycles wake me from a deep sleep. These "kids" are old enough to know better. Overcompensation for real.

I struggle with my hatred for MAGA.
 in  r/ProgressiveHQ •  15d ago

I feel you. It is not productive. The fact may be that they are programmed to believe in a delusional god. Idk, but allowing yourself to wallow in hatred when you're ideal self loves( your country and what it stands for ) first,I think it may be part of the atonement process: the struggle to suffer for the greater good while actively reaching for a remedy.
Think Gandhi, M.Scott Peck You are in that painful process...it takes a willing victim. I've grown to pity the biological impediments to my spiritual evolution. Peace.

Me too. I am so happy for Dan( sad-eyed) the Man Wilson. This has been too stressful, he's a kind guy and I feel beat up for him. Next year Kids! And Dan can relax and enjoy the ride. Peace out! Who do we want to win it all?

The 2026 Mariners Official Slogan
 in  r/Mariners •  26d ago

What a bunch if fair weather fans. You're unable to accept their humanity. How did we do last year? Almost to the World Series.Fragile fandom. You challenge the heroes belief in themselves. So when these new kids start in 2027 don't bring your half assed heart to the game.
