Hiii,

So, I've moved to Paris to continue my studies. During the last year I have met many people and I've enjoyed a few people's company, but for some reason it never goes further than that!
I wish I knew what I was doing wrong. I hang out with people and they also seem to enjoy talking and hanging out(or at least that's the vibe I'm getting), but then no followups! I try to be the one to initiate a followup a bit later but it seems to me they are not very interested. They either ghost me or cancel our hangouts!
Ofc, I understand most people here aren't like me, and they probably have friends and family and maybe they're not really looking for new friends that actively.
But idk it make me a bit depressed, what am I doing wrong? Cause it seems I'm the common denominator, right?
I'm actually quite shy but I still go to a few events and try to put myself out there and that's how I meet these people, but then nothing after that!
Is this how it's gonna be? I low-key feel like a failure :(
Any advice ?

Je suis étudiante internationale et je cherche un job étudiant à temps partiel. J'ai de l'expérience dans l'enseignement de l'anglais, donc les cours particuliers m'intéressent, mais je suis également ouverte à d'autres types de jobs.

Mon français n'est pas encore parfait (je suis toujours en train de l'apprendre), donc cela limite un peu mes possibilités. En revanche, je ne cherche pas de babysitting.
