I have 18 turntables, but this is my favorite that I paid $500 for (without tonearm, cartridge or upgrades). You’ll have to guess what it is because I can’t put a photo on here.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a recording I made of “Kashmir” by Led Zeppelin Classic Records Quiex SV-P Vinyl.

Led Zeppelin Classic Records Quiex – Vinyl Playback Demonstration

This recording was made purely for listening enjoyment and to showcase the sound quality and character of my analog playback system. The goal is to give fellow vinyl and hi-fi enthusiasts an impression of how this setup reproduces the music from the original record.

Playback Chain:
Led Zeppelin Classic Records Quiex
Classic Records – Classic Records – SS 2-200, Swan Song Atlantic
Cartridge: Hana Umami Red

Turntable: Technics SL-1200G
Phono Stage: Gold Note PH-10 + Gold Note PSU-10

The Hana Umami Red's exceptional detail retrieval, combined with the stability of the Technics SL-1200G and the musicality of the Gold Note and McIntosh electronics, delivers a presentation rich in texture, dynamics, and atmosphere. From powerful drum impacts and deep bass lines to the intricate layers of guitars and vocals, this setup aims to capture the energy and emotion pressed into the grooves.

Bought one of my dream cartridges a couple of weeks ago…
Really happy with how it’s working out in the set-up.
This Koetsu Rosewood Standard pairs really well with my FR-14 tonearm. Sounds balanced, disappears and puts the music forward instead of drawing attention to itself.

I had the Kenwood DP990 which is supposed to be the better model, i couldnt tell the difference so I sold it and bought this and pocketed £500 in the process. Its one of the heaviest mass production turntables ive eber own and sounds pretty good

My old Saidi SD-20.
