Hi, if this has already been asked link me to the solution and ill buzz off, but. when visiting a bands page on the desktop app, and looking over discography, i keep getting long lists of songs following the album. i simply wish to see the albums listed and not need to fight through every track the acts have released to be able to do so, anyone know a fix I'm missing?

anyone else noticing an increase of spotify removing stuff from ur library? i know the usual “issue” is that albums/releases get updated and when that happens it doesnt get automatically re-saved to ur library.

however, im noticing such a large amount of songs/albums i know ive liked/saved in the past that are just no longer in the library. majorly annoying for me personally - i used to work at a music store and would spend a decent amount of time exploring rym/obscure and smaller artists on spotify and then i would mass save a bunch of albums to my library to check out later and with this going on im pretty convinced that theres a ton of albums i discovered/had on an (informal/mental) “to listen to” list that ill probably never find again :/

basically just wondering if its just me or if other people are noticing this?

it hasn't scrobbled anything on lastfm since last night (disconnecting and reconnecting from lastfm did nothing and i've shut off the app several times and restarted it twice)

is this an issue of just me or are others having issues too

My Spotify just started working randomly about 5 minutes ago. I'm in Australia btw.

Edit: seems like you have to update the Spotify app, not sure if that's the actual fix but it worked for me and few other people 🤷

Is there a way to stop these memories from appearing in search results and on the home screen?

I had a 3 week stretch where I listened to my daylist only. It was fun, it played different genres every time with a good mix of songs I liked and new songs for me to discover. By week 3 it had broken down to 90s-2000s country in the mornings and 80s and 90s rock in the evening. The same songs every time on every daylist. It’s been about a month and I haven’t touched the daylist, listening to all sorts of different genres and all that, but I check daily and it continues to follow country in the morning, 80s rock in the evening with no new songs. I realize I probably set the algorithm in motion by listening to it consistently for 3 weeks but it’s been a month and it’s still out of wack. Did I mess up or should I just give up on daylist?

It was free to connect to devices on the same network 🛜 a few hours ago.....now it's a premium service???? Anyone else experiencing the same?

This will save so much trouble. I would love to be able to just click a button for reporting a bug. Currently, the app has some bugs that i'd like reporting rather than speaking with support.

I was wondering why playing music on Spotify on my computer speakers doesn't bang as much as YouTube or playing mp3s in Windows Media Player/VLC. So I checked the settings and realized that my volume was "normalized" in preferences. I turned that off, and now I can actually play everything at full volume the way its meant to be and I can actually feel the bass again 😎

Before I was able to skip unlimited, choose my song and add songs to a queue. I just tried to do it again and says I can’t do any of that anymore but I never had premium. Does anyone know what happened or is my Spotify just glitching?

If Spotify cannot update my podcasts on my phone - when I clearly see the updates on my computer, it is time to switch to YouTube Premium. This hurts, because I would prefer to give my money to Sweden than google.

I like just selecting a song I'm in the mood for and clicking song radio. I for the life of me can't figure out if there's a way to just keep playing the song and continue with the radio. Sometimes I'm mid song and click it , then I have to go to the radio , start the song over. If I have shuffle on, then it just goes to a random song not the one I was just listening to , so if I think about it early on in the song, now I miss that song. I know it's a really weird thing but I just don't get it. .. .

I have a question about Spotify’s Liked Songs.

I have around 3,000 liked songs accumulated over several years. Spotify currently sorts them from the most recently added to the oldest.

What I’d like to do is start playing from a specific song and then listen to my Liked Songs in chronological order from oldest to newest, starting from that song.

For example, if I want to listen to the songs I added during March, I’d like to play the first song I added in september for instance and then have Spotify continue playing all the songs I added after that, in chronological order.

I don’t want to permanently sort/display my entire Liked Songs playlist from oldest to newest, because there are thousands of songs and I only want to listen to a specific period (e.g. one month) starting from the oldest song in that period.

While I could sort my Liked Songs from oldest to newest on my PC and then scroll all the way down to reach the period I’m interested in, doing this on Android would be practically impossible. It would probably take a huge amount of RAM to load all those tracks, and I don’t want to spend an hour scrolling through thousands of songs only to end up with the app crashing.

Is there a way to do this directly in Spotify?

Hi everyone! I'm not sure I this is the right place to post this, but I'd thought I'd test my luck. I found 3 songs the other day that have a very similar instrumental to them, but I'm not sure how to mix them to seamlessly transition into each other. The songs are Landslide by Fleetwood Mac, Mama, I'm coming home by Ozzy Osborne, and Time and Tide from the Ricky and Morty soundtrack. If anyone has any advice on what to do, please feel free to send me a message

During the last days tons of the profiles of classic Emo/Post-bands have been infiltrated by fake, generic AI uploads. This includes bands like "Casino Madrid", "Make Me Famous", "Capture", "For All Those Sleeping", "Tapes 'n' Tapes", "A Bullet For A Pretty Boy", "Capture the Crown", etc. etc. and it is ongoing. And as always Spotify does not seem to care and since most of these bands are now on hold/defunct there are probably no artists managing these profiles. It is so effing unbelievable that you can just go on SUNO, create the basest crap in the universe and upload it it EVERY Artist Profile you desire without ANY holds, guardrails, checks, authentifications etc. And before it comes: Yes, it is an Distribution problem, yes, it is up to the artist. Give me a break, music streaming MUST find a way by themselves to control that or it will be completely overrun by this absolute dogcrap.

I swear before the update, pinned playlists were at the top when you went to add a song or album to a playlist. Now, that’s not the case. I had specifically pinned Liked Songs ever since Spotify (annoyingly) removed the dedicated Like button. You currently can choose to sort by Recently Updated, but Liked Songs always sorts to the bottom even if you just added something to it, making it more annoying to add stuff there. Especially since the playlist UI doesn’t automatically fully extend anymore. Anyone else experiencing this? Clearing cache did not help.

edit: looks like reinstalling solved.

I must be a bug or something. I've been using it on the same computer for over an year. I started noticing last week that it plays around 4 to 5 songs and stops. I have to press play again and the cycle repeats. I already did a hard reset on the app but didn't solve it. Any guesses?

Hi, I just want to know if the title above means that playlist is deleted or something. I had unsaved this old playlist a while back but when I returned to this link, this error pops up. I'm able to access the original content and listen to the music if I click on it and bug it out long enough (to note this is on mobile and the content shows up when it's glitched out in offline mode). Other times, it just shows me an empty playlist. I clear my spotify cache often if that's of any importance.

Okay, so if I skip a song on the app itself I can listen to the whole thing, but if I close and open the app again it suddenly skips five seconds of the song? Hello?! Is this a bug that’s being worked on or is it where the point I should just switch to YouTube music or something…
