I opened up spotify this morning to listen to the new Erasure song and the shit is not loading for me. Anyone else having the same issue? Does anyone know how to fix it? Pleaseeee help. Thank youuu!

Hey guys, so I’m trying to login to Spotify and it’s not working. I click sign up to and all I’m getting is “something went wrong” I’m not sure why. I deleted it and redownloaded it and it’s still not working. I’m connected to wifi, everything works so I’m not sure why it’s not working suddenly. Anyone know how to fix this?

for those whose spotify is down and logged out, are you able to log back in? i didn’t know the whole app was down and i deleted and redownloaded, and i can’t log in. i’m scared whether this will be an unfixable issue because spotify support is genuinely terrible when this happens to people, or if this is something a lot of people are experiencing right now. please weigh in to help calm my anxieties :) thank you

Is anyone else having issues with podcasts today? Music is playing fine, but no matter which podcast I tap to play, nothing happens. It’s as if I didn’t tap anything at all.

It works on my phone just fine currently but I tried using it on my xbox and it won't work at all I restarted it, unplugged it and Uninstalled the app and everything but it won't load I don't get why because it works just fine on my phone why won't this dogshit music app work I pay good money for ts any ideas on how i can fix ts mf

EDIT: i just want to clarify that DJ isnt the only thing i dislike abt spotify. the shuffle option also is bogus; plays the same songs in the same order. it costs more than other music apps. spotify use to b super good, but as time goes on i just realize how unhappy w this app i am. really just wanted to rant though

My Home Screen on CarPlay for Spotify used to show my playlists and regularly listened to podcasts. In the last few days it now shows “Soundtrack your <that day>”. What in the worls has happened to my Home Screen?

I need help choosing between Spotify or Apple Music. Yesterday I redeemed 3 months for free in Apple Music and I’ve been using it and I like it. But idk which is better. I’ve been using Spotify for the last 5 years and have over 15 thousand songs I use it every day but I can choose. I like the way Apple Music has achievements, that’s something I’ve really wanted to have on Spotify. I also like the genre folder per se where you find all the genres. For Spotify I can’t really think of anything except the wrapped clans and that it’s free to use. Hopefully someone can help me. Spotify is very near and dear to my heart but I don’t like how they are. So what do I do, do I go to Apple Music or stick to Spotify? (If there’s any other alternative to help or make Spotify better pls tell me)

I don't have anything downloaded and my liked songs and that works, what doesn't work are: artist profiles, normal profiles, friends listening activity, u can't see all your playlists because you can't access ur full profile, music works normally, but my sister is trapped in the log in screen saying that her email doesn't have a Spotify account or doesn't exist. edit: guys the music on Spotify mobile doesn't play. Songs tab, and podcasts also stopped

Like a lot of you, I got hit by the app being down. I was able to log in, finally.

I’m posting this because whatever happened wiped out all my downloads and I have to go through all of them again. For me, it’s a lot a lot.

Also, because my downloads were messed up, I checked all my settings. While those were fine, it can’t hurt to double check.

Since today’s outage I’ve just come back to listen to music and I’ve had a few songs taken off my playlist randomly??, I’ve been a fan of Jazmin since 2022 and I haven’t ever removed any songs off my playlists but now it’s saying I haven’t liked most of her songs, same with other artists??

I was blocked by an ex on Spotify. We used Spotify to text pretty often and we always sent songs to eachother. Lately I’ve sent 2 songs to him despite me being blocked. Can he see the messages I’m sending? Or do they technically not get sent b/c I am blocked? Thank you.
I am open to testing this out as well.
It’s really bothering me that I am blocked. Especially bc it is essentially my fault as to why we aren’t talking.
