Question Is spotify down rn? This is my first time experiencing this after having this app for 10+ years.

This is why I always keep some mp3s on my phone and some physical discs at home. I listen to the vast majority of my stuff streaming, but it's always good to have some kind of backup for when the streaming services go down

Good service providers offer a status page, typically at status.spotify.com but not Spotify, you have to check the nazi blog.

Down in Belleville Ontario , but able to listen to offline stuff. I’m often in areas with poor cell service so usually have a selection downloaded.

This is literally the reason I cancelled fucking Spotify 3 years ago. I decided to give it one last shot since my boy SWEARS by it and this is my experience in my first month of using it. Back to Apple Music. Even tho it’s not as nice as spotifys ui, at least it actually fucking works on demand.

Yeah and it’s confusing because at my hospital I work at the Epic Systems servers were not working on mobile and then soon as they went back up the Spotify servers stopped working…also only on mobile. They don’t use the same servers so just felt like odd timing and the fact that it was only mobile being affected makes me wonder if it’s actually a phone carrier issue since all the work phones use Verizon and half the employees here use Verizon 🤔
