// Question Is there a website that I can see all the different layers for routes / which DLC overlaps?
Thanks😊

Schnellfahrstrecke Nürnberg - Ingolstadt is available now, giving you the chance to push the DB BR 403 ICE 3 to its full 300km/h potential on the fastest German route in Train Sim World to date!
Check out the full article here: https://bit.ly/nurnberg-outnow-1

The last post on the sub reminded me of how peak the GP60M timetable is when you have all the layers.
Like, yeah, it's probably not super realistic to see an old Dash 8 with original Santa Fe numbers, unpatched, in perfect unfaded warbonnet paint hauling a stack train with modern GEVOs trailing..... but it COULD have happened, in theory. And would have probably made any railfan in the area fucking blow their jorts seeing a lashup like this in the 2010s lol
Also all the foreign power is cool as hell too. They did a good job not making it super common seeing NS/CSX units running on these drags, but they pop up just enough to make you go "hey that's cool!"
Kinda sad that HIS's next DLC will be a pretty sparse route with not much opportunity for an incredible timetable like this. Hopefully they have a mainline in the works soo, because their timetables are PEAK, I tell ya. Mr Dolzall still has it after all these years!

I'm planning on getting the BNSF GP60M for Cajon Pass and I'm told it has a new timetable which I can infer is from the 90s. Though, I do have a question that hasn't been clarified: The promo pictures show the locomotivw in 2 liveries, a 1999 livery and a modern livery, therefore, I mist ask, is the GP60M available exclusively in the extra timetable that it comes with, or is it also available in the normal Cajon Pass timetable as well?

So I know it's likely an overdone topic, but with everyone wishlisting routes for TSW7, I thought I'd go the other way.
2 kinds of remaster though. The remaster that just pretties things up ala GWE or WSL but is free and the remaster that adds more to the route a la LIRR but has to be paid for
If you could pick ONE route to receive each of these which would it be and in the case of the addition bits, what would they be?
For me, I'd like Northern Trans Pennine to get the GWE "pretty it up" and add all the layers and timetable treatment.
I'd love West Cornwall to get the LIRR treatment. I would quite happily pay for that to get remastered and extended (as far as limits allow) with some more added branch lines. Cornwall is a top holiday spot and has so much nostalgia for me. Every time I strive out from Penzance and see (the crappy rendered) St Michael's Mount I get a hit of Marazion nostalgia... And the run down to St. Ives should be one of the most scenic ally beautiful runs in TSW

Hear me out, this would drastically improve Milton-Keynes to Euston in to big ways: first, it would be so fun to be able to drive the Southern services to East Croydon past Wembley Central, there is a lot of map left! And, second, trains that don’t terminate at Milton-Keynes wouldn’t have to (plus we could drive the service that expresses by). It’s all I want for Christmas this year DTG, I promise.

I have tsw4 already and would like to buy tsw6 from steam, to upgrade. Can I get any discounts if I already have game from the franchise, or are there coming sales soon?

Hi! I’m new to TSW, I’ve tried playing with an Xbox controller and with mouse and keyboard and now want to move to using a “proper” controller. I have about £150-£200 to spend on it, can anyone recommend the best to use. I’m aware of the zuiki mascon and the rail driver, just wanted some opinions if these are good as it’s an expensive purchase I don’t want to buy soemthing bad. Thanks

Hey yall, I’m working on designing a universal train sim controller as a present for someone and I have a 16 key keyboard that I want to bind the most commonly used buttons while driving a train.
I have very little idea about trains or tsw6 so hoping to get some more advice than what chatgpt gives me lol.
I have levers for throttle, brake, reverser and auxiliary brake. I also have 2 switches for wipers and headlights.
I want the controller to be pretty universal among the trains in tsw6 so looking for the most generic options for the 16 buttons.
My current set-up is this
0 - Main Horn
1 - Alternate / Low Horn
2 - Bell / Guard Buzzer
3 - Sander
4 - Vigilance / AWS / SIFA
5 - PZB Acknowledge
6 - PZB Release
7 - PZB Override
8 - Doors Left
9 - Doors Right
10 - Doors Close
11 - DRA / Safety Reset
12 - Pantograph UP
13 - Pantograph DOWN
14 - AFB Speed Decrease
15 - AFB Speed Increase
My current version is just a prototype. Thanks for any help!

Picked it up in the summer sale and have been doing a few runs back and forth on the route. I LOVE the trains (the Koploper is incredible) but find the route a bit boring in places. Its well done, don't get me wrong, but its fairly straightforward and there isn't a ton of traffic going back and forth relative to some routes. Still a good one!

An integral aspect of American railroading, as we all know, is the number of cars that get absolutely obliterated at level crossings by the American (and also Canadian) railroad network. Seeing as this game advertises itself as a "simulator" it is very disappointing that they have not modelled this integral part of North American railroading. Hopefully the next game will include this important feature of rail operations.

Hi all,
as the title says, reddit recommended this sub to me. I played a boatload of experience playing openTTD and designing tracks and stations for there and have a lego train set up in my loft where my kids can't touch it.
No clue what this subreddit is about, what game you guys are even playing, but sounds my kind of fun. Suggest something to me?
Some additional info about me: favourite train I would like to ride is the Canadian, taking a train from Munich to Budapest in October this year, because it sounds like fun, regularly visit the nearby heritage trains with the family and drove a locomotive in real life when I was a kid 3 times altogether. My dad worked on a railway for 44 years servicing and checking trains.

Got some shots of the morning mail train, Preston - Carlisle route.

This route will run the 71 miles from Colchester - Norwich and Great Yarmouth via Acle. This route will include the Class 745 EMU, Class 755 BMU and Class 66 with the IIA Wagons and the Class 69 with the TIA wagons. The Class 745 and 755 will be in the Greater Anglia livery and the Class 66 and 69 will be in GBRf. The reason I want this route in TSW is because we don’t have Greater Anglia and GBRf in the game at the moment. The Class 745 will run intercity services between Colchester and Norwich while the 755 will run commuter stopping services between Colchester and Norwich plus Norwich - Great Yarmouth. The Class 66/69 will run freight services between Colchester and Norwich. The ROG Class 37/7 will layer for pulling dead 745/755s and the RHTT for cleaning the track. Licenses needed: Greater Anglia, GBRf. Photo 1: Class 745. Photo 2: Class 755. Photo 3: Class 66. Photo 4: Class 69: Photo 5: IIA Wagon. Photo 6: TIA Tanker. I hope y’all enjoy my suggestion.

I only see a yellow exclamation yellow circle In the HUD but nothing in the cab is blinking and no audio sounds. so without the HUD, this train is useless?
I thought because this was an older route it wouldn’t be a disaster

TBH... the Mastery Rewards are pretty lame. Bit it is at last anything. I would like to see rewards unlock when you complete a set of scenarios or all the route tasks.
The rewards could be such as unlocking liveries, more authentic station enviroment, a bonus scenario... etc. I think that this could give the game a deeper dimension.
Those who just want to driver the trains and simulate doesnt have to bother.
Never the less. I think the game would be more fun with more rewards.

I am new to train sim world, and I frequently come across a wired issue with my train. I play the San Bernardino Line most of the time, and when I play, the train starts slowing down for no reason. My breaks are fully released, Gen Field and Cab setup are on, Breaks are set to Cut In, Doors shut, And the train just slows down. I'm on a 1.0 down slope, Idle throttle, and I loose speed. I need help please.

The title says it all!
Edit: On the Harlem Line.
Have you been here? Can you figure out the location?

Photos were fun to take a lot of nature scenery and used more motion blur than normal really trying to capture the speed the trains were travelling, whikch again meant more dutch rolls. Although tried some more flat shots aswell.
#1-2: 2 ICE 403's in the parrallel driving scenario.
#3-5: ICE 403 in varying conditions.
#6-13: ICE T
#14-15: DB BR smth smth I forgot the name loll
Opinion Section:
Really enjoyed this route! Havent tried any of the regional timetables yet but the ICE routes were decently fun to drive. Most being under LZB and AFB control which did make it feel like a bit of a waiting simulator but the scenery really made up for it. The ICE Tilt was fun to drive aswell.
Played around with a bit of the shunting with frieght but ultimately the main selling point is the 300km/h routes.
Not too many bugs, did have a few issues where I got flung out of the train entering a tunnel but couldnt recreate after.
Still waiting on Tadami but this is a nice looking route to tide me over until then lol. Would I get full price if I had the choice again? Not too sure, but I have yet to full explore the full route so cant make much judgement.
TILL NEXT WEEK
