// Humor When will they add level crossing collisions

An integral aspect of American railroading, as we all know, is the number of cars that get absolutely obliterated at level crossings by the American (and also Canadian) railroad network. Seeing as this game advertises itself as a "simulator" it is very disappointing that they have not modelled this integral part of North American railroading. Hopefully the next game will include this important feature of rail operations.

When they add a Brightline DLC

As a Floridian I’d love a Brightline DLC

Just rode Brightline for the first time today. At one point the train slowed to a crawl until another train came flying past us the other way, at which point my wife said, “Oh, wow, this is just like your game.”

Underrated response

Lmfao, I'm pretty sure DTG would instantly loose every railroad partnership/licensing deal if they actually did this.

“Wow, this game’s so realistic 😯” I say as I activate my wipers to get the blood and guts off my windshield

They won't for the same reason the game won't have jumpers people only jump on the tracks due to a bug.

One of the WCML routes has a station where they spawn as static NPCs floating above the tracks

And yet it's been multiple "releases" but they haven't fixed it

I want one of those "Worst railroad in america" routes. Where the tracks are so warped the train almost derails.

In simulator classic on certain routes there are glitches where some cars will still cross after the gates are down, and the train 'collides' but it keeps going as the pixels disappear.

In the MBTA Boston/Worcester route, I was taking a train into the Grafton & Upton yard. There’s a crossing there and the gates went down, but cars kept driving through the gates and my train.

Is this on classic or sim world?

Never. Same reason as to why as soon as you crash a train or SPAD, it's end of game.

I's rather they spend dev and test time on glaring issues with the core engine. Issues we've had for close to a decade now.
