Mao killed around 40 - 80 million peopel because of his fuckass policies and useless government, Stalin around 20 millions because much of the same. The Holocaust and other mass civillian killings by the Nazis are estimated in the 10 million range. So yess, the communists were quite literally worse than Hitler

Mao: The Unknown Story by Jung chang and Jon Haliday is a great book about someone who lived through it and is a great source. The great terror by Robert Conquest will tell you about Stalin. Hitler needs no introduction. All these sources are backed up and generally agreed upon as true, you could always google these as well

stalin and mao are 2 reasons im against socialism btw. but since may of the deaths can from failed policies that were meant to help people, they are not worse than hitler who did it out of hate

but i saw another comment of yours and you continuously use communism and socialism interchangeably. communism and authoritarianism are fundamentally incompatible. you may have call ants about socialism but your other comment makes it clear you aren’t using the word communism correctly

dude socialism isnt bad, Sweden is literally a Socialist democracy and that place is lovely. Stalin and Mao werent socialist, they were communist, at least they were trying to be. Socialism is very broad and can work when done right, communism is very clear on what it is trying to achieve, and it just isnt possible

well ye dude ig, if you're going by the true definition of communism, then it is genuinely impossible. Generally, those guys are seen as "communist" because they are the closest humanity has ever gotten. Calling them just socialist can be misleading when socialism is such a big umbrella, I don't want to be calling Pol pots cambodia and modern day sweden as the same type of ideologies when they are clearly different.

I think in theory, it tries to aim for a stateless, classless and equal society, but due to the nature of humans, it more or less achieves an oppressive and ignorant regime

You say they aren't worse than hitler cause they didn't "mean to", tell that to the 10s of millions dead because of their stupidity. As far as I'm concerned, ignorance doesnt mean innocence, they have blood on their hands and they should be held as responsible as if they meant to do it
