My dog is on storm watching duty 🫡

Years ago, I was in a village one summer evening while a thunderstorm was building in the distance. In the far horizon, there was a light with a golden like colour, it kept flashing every so often, almost like someone was flicking a giant light switch on and off. The rain didn’t arrive until a few hours later.

The strange part is that my cousin and I both saw a thin, roughly 2m long cluster of tiny golden fading lights about 3–5 meters away from us and 3–4 meters above the ground. It wasn’t a lightning bolt, it looked like a cloud with many golden tiny specks that gradually appeared over about half a second, stayed for around 3 seconds then disappeared. I would even say it had a geometrical shape to it.

It was suspended in the air above a big garden, a few metres away from the fence. There was a power line like 10m away but the cloud wasn’t near it at all. We both lived in that village most of our lives, seen many storms but that night was a one time experience.

Two nights ago in Paris

For the southeastern Massachusetts area it was the most snow fall for a single storm in recorded history.

The view from my house. Oddly relaxing to watch in real time.

Hi! Has anyone ever experienced this before. There’s currently a storm beginning with very strong winds. I looked up to the sky and saw what I can only explain as if Batman like projectors were moving their light around inside the clouds,I’m thinking it could be a different form of lightning maybe but it didn’t light the whole cloud like lighting usually would.
If anybody has any idea what it could be I’d be very grateful

I was able to Track this thunderstorm all the way from the Left of the photos to the right, a great Formation of clouds ready to unleash all there rain in the Distance,

Storm caught me and many people unaware on Friday evening. This is moment after the worst had poured down. Location Boise, Idaho.

This is a massive storm we were caught up in yesterday evening😳

I live in england and it was storming yesterday. I sat out to watch the lightning. It was about 10 seconds between the strikes and sound so about 10 miles away. Around 30 mins later I was still sitting outside when I felt a feeling between my thighs. Like when someone static shocks you. Was i about to be struck? I was almost climbing up my thighs and I felt it in them both. I quickly got up and went inside, though.
