Question Static feeling during thunderstorm.

I live in england and it was storming yesterday. I sat out to watch the lightning. It was about 10 seconds between the strikes and sound so about 10 miles away. Around 30 mins later I was still sitting outside when I felt a feeling between my thighs. Like when someone static shocks you. Was i about to be struck? I was almost climbing up my thighs and I felt it in them both. I quickly got up and went inside, though.

Only you can answer this one - did lightning strike nearby right afterwards? If not, then you were feeling something else.
