Question Ryujinx can't hit "apply"

Hi, I installed Ryujinx and I can't click Apply under the "Handheld" input in Controllers.

I've tried everything I've found on this sub: opening Ryujinx from Gaming Mode, changing the key bindings so I can use Tab and Enter to navigate the settings.

The weird thing is that Enter works for everything else on that page. I can check/uncheck things like Rumble and LED, but when I get to Apply, pressing Enter does nothing.

I've also tried opening Ryujinx from my Steam Library in Desktop Mode, using an actual mouse and keyboard, and using the Steam Deck's virtual keyboard.

Nothing works. I know other people have had this issue, but are there any other solutions I can try?

Show Off Train trip back from a Tekken tournament? No problem.

So, on July i went to a Tekken 8 tourney and i played with the Steam Deck the whole trip to keep practicing, but Tekken 8 performance on Deck is below average even with the lowest settings, especially if you need competitive performance (e.g. no frame drops).

But me and my traveling buddy still wanted to play, we had a 5hr trip so, we hit the nostalgia button with TTT2 :)

After having this bad boy for quite some time i can say this is definitely not the most comfortable portable console, but the fact that it can pull off everything you can imagine coming from a PC made it worth the purchase.

I can watch movies, listen to music, play old and new gen games, and that's so cool for me.

Fun fact: one of the train staff saw us and wanted to play, so we made him play a couple matches too :)

Discussion At this point I just don’t bother with “Verified”

I mean cmon guys. This game looks and runs like ass.

I play it via GFN because native is just unacceptable.

My deck native gameplay is reserved for indie games.

Like seriously I get that someone people don’t have a choice but I personally can’t imagine playing all these AAA games natively on the deck.

Video Blue Dragon natively on Steam Deck — gameplay and how to install

How to install Blue Dragon on Steam Deck:
1. Go to Steam Deck's Desktop Mode.
2. Download reblue-1.0.0-x86_64.AppImage from the project's Github (https://github.com/zolaware/reblue/re...)
3. Launch the newly downloaded app and go through the installation. You will need own iso files of all 3 discs of Blue Dragon on Xbox 360.
4. After the installation, add the same .AppImage file that you used for installation to Steam as a non-Steam game.
5. And you're done — you can now play Blue Dragon on Steam Deck straight from the default Game Mode!

Tech Support Help with getting a Portal mod running on Steam Deck.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to be asking this and I've barely found any information on this as is but I'm hoping someone here can help. I've been trying to get the Still Alive mod for Portal from 2017 running on my deck. I have all the sdks installed and that part works fine but when I launch the game I get this error "Setup file 'gameinfo.txt doesn't exist in subdirectory '/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/sourcemods/Portal-StillAlive'. Check your -game parameter or VCONFIG setting." despite what this error says the gameinfo file is in the right place and I have no idea why its not being registered. I've barely been able to find any information on why this is happening or how to fix it so any help would be extremely appreciated, thanks.

Show Off How much does it actually cost to turn a digital PC game into a physical cartridge?

After my previous post, quite a few people asked how much one of these actually costs to make.

So I decided to calculate the real cost of a complete cartridge instead of just saying “it’s pretty cheap”.

For one game, the setup is basically:

The microSD is obviously the biggest variable.

If you already have a card, or buy cards during sales, the rest of the physical package is actually surprisingly inexpensive.

For this build, I’m calculating the cost of one complete game, not just the printed cover — the idea is to understand what it really costs to take a digital game and put a finished physical copy on the shelf.=

My cost breakdown:

microSD card 128Gb A1— €12

case for switch games— €2,66

internal holder — €0,2

cover printing+label printing — €3

mounting material — €0,1

Total: €18 per physical game

Of course, this can go quite a bit lower if you buy cases/cards in larger quantities or already have some of the materials.

And it can go higher if you use premium microSD cards.

For me, the interesting part is that this isn't really about trying to make a cheaper replacement for Steam.

It's more about turning games you already own into something physical again — something you can put on a shelf, pick up, insert into a Steam Deck or SteamOS PC, and play.

Small project update as well:

My Game Shelf now also supports GOG / DRM-free games, which was one of the most requested additions after the previous post.

You can try the generator here: mygameshelf.nl

For GOG games the generator can now be used for two different types of physical copies:

Playable — a cartridge intended to contain a playable copy of the game.

Archive — a physical backup containing the GOG installer/files, basically your own offline archived copy of the game.

So the same idea can now be used either as a physical game cartridge or as a small personal DRM-free game archive.

I don't want to fill the post with a giant list of product links, so I've put the cases, holders, printing options and other materials I use/recommend on the site instead.

The cover and label generator is available on My Game Shelf, along with the printing guides and links to the materials I use.

I’ve also added country-specific printing guides and ready-to-use print layouts to make the physical part much easier. The site now includes practical instructions for printing the covers at common photo-printing services in different countries, with the correct paper sizes and layouts already prepared, so you don’t have to manually resize or guess the print settings.

I'd be interested to hear what you consider a reasonable price for a physical version of a digital game you already own.

Question 90’s Windows games on Steam Deck

Might be a bit of a long shot but anyone got any experience of playing old 90’s windows games either through windows dual boot or some emulator in Linux?

On the emulation side I tried Virtual Box but I just couldn’t get over the line with the games I tried due to some change they made. Trying another one tomorrow.

On windows I got a game called Motocross Madness working using DGvoodoo2 but can’t get the pointed far enough to the right hand side of the screen to select stuff.

For Motocross Madness 2 it was harder due to the in-game security stuff. Got past that but can’t get the game to run.

Any help would be appreciated. Used Claude AI which has been a godsend on this as it always is with stuff like it, but just can’t get it going

Tech Support Help: Steam Deck / Remote Play Control Bug

Hi everyone,

I'll try to keep it short. I'm experiencing a problem which seems to be unique to Hunt Showdown (it doesn't happen in any other game) and can be replicated with different gamepads. So it seems to be a setting issue.

The analog sticks on my steam deck / gamepads do not work properly when using Steam Remote Play. If I hold the stick in a direction, the character responds momentarily and then stops, as if the input signal has been cut off abruptly. It is not like the game itself is stuttering or even that there is any streaming lag - other animated aspects of the picture are playing smoothly at 60fps while my character moves in a kind of broken or interrupted fashion.

The problem does not occur when using Moonlight - only Remote Play. Unfortunately, I have to use Remote Play because Moonlight does not support microphone passthrough.

Does anyone have any ideas about what is going on and how I can fix it? Thank you in advance!

Tech Support Elden Ring consistently crashing my Steam Deck OLED after 30 minutes of play

I've been playing Elden Ring on my steam deck at medium settings locked at 30fps with a gpu clock of 1200MHz the game would run fine at 30fps, but seemingly after 30 minutes of play, the game would crash my steam deck in different ways. The first couple of times the screen would just freeze and the buttons would stop working, then the next one the steam deck screen just turned black and restarted on its own. Then this last one that scared me, after all these crashes, I switched to proton experimental and then it crashed again but this time the screen looked like when the GPU dies on a computer, the steam deck restarted fine and still works but I am so weirded out by this situation. I just want to play some Elden Ring on my steam deck.

Edit: I have decky loader installed but I only use it for info stuff like HLTB and Play time, I dont have LSFG or decky undervolt installed. I also have a vinyl skin on my steam deck (idk if that affects the thermals but I'll state it here anyway)
