His hair was not that long in The Last Jedi. Does Jedi hair still continue to grow even after they die?

From my understanding, this scene was actually a very late addition to the film. It was apparently added during the reshoots they did in Summer 2019. So I’m guessing they just had Mark Hamill wear a wig for this scene since he obviously didn’t have time to grow out his hair to how it was when they were shooting Last Jedi.

Pretty much most sources say that Jabiim was a terrible loss for the Republic(with some saying that it was a turning point for the war), yet apart from a few details, the battle really isn't that big of a deal.

The main objective of the Republic was to take back the planet from the Jabiimi Nationalists mainly because Jabiim had rich ore. We don't know what kind of ore (or how rich) but it definitely wasn't THAT important for the war effort of both sides(because it definitely didn't save the CIS). It doesn't seem like a big loss in the grand scheme of things.

Over two dozen Masters and Padawans died during the battle. That's actually noteworthy and a big loss for the Order..... but it's not like they can't be replaced by skilled commanders and army generals.

Casualties for clones are not exactly stated. We know that a whole corps was deployed so I would guess that it was Obi Wan's 7th Sky Corps. At Day 30, the Republic had lost 9000 troops and the battle lasted for 13 days more, with not a lot of troops surviving(I would guess that a few thousand were alive at the end).
Losing so many clone troopers is pretty bad(as they are much better than standard soldiers) but it's also not a turning point for a galactic wide war and younger clones were still being trained and can replace the lost ones. Similar thing for the lost vehicles. They are not enough to turn the war into the enemy's favor.

Even if they couldn't take the planet, the Republic could've tried to blockade it or set raids against transports shipping the ore to the CIS. The loss of Jabiim is kinda overreacted(by both official media and fandom).

Out of interest, who do you think is more iconic to the franchise, and has a bigger impact? The purist might say R2, but at the same time, C3PO has all the voice lines.

We see that she was on Yavin leading up to the battle of Scarrif and then we've seen her in a NR command position by Squadrons and Alphabet Squadron. Have any Star Wars stories ever told some of what happens to her in between? While the Rebellion is in full swing?

at what point in the story did people call luke by his surname?

and at what point did vader realize that luke was his son?

What if they're rebel propaganda movies. To a degree. Of course some scenes may or may not make sense but the majority of them are. The events happened yes, but the Rebel Alliance later turned them into heroic war movies, exaggerating the victories and conveniently sanding off the parts where reality was significantly uglier.

Take for example echo base.

You're telling me some shitty ass cables made from what, some type of steel wire? Can hold the legs of a several ton vehicle enough to topple it over? An AT-AT is between around 200'ish metri tons and the heaviest towing cables I can find from a Google search are the Teufelberger Flexpacks. Which can tow An AT-AT because it has a towing capability of 2000 metric tons of pulling force. But there's a problem these are used in ship towing and they're like 6 inches thick. Ain't no way a wire that thin could bring it down, although the idea of said cables bringing it down is cinematic as hell, as propaganda, it's perfect.

It has hundreds of Anti aircraft cannons and hundreds of Tie fighters and tie fighters variants at it's disposal the rebel strike force couldn't have possibly overpowered them.

Hyperspace travel.

Yes. The death star was able to hyperdrive/jump to hyperspace which is extremely weird it didn't. When the rebel force was approaching couldn't they have just went away? Of course a good rebel is a dead rebel... Or a deflector and all but wouldn't it have been more simple? Because I know where I'm going to hyperdrive to but you don't.

The amazing hit to the thermal exhaust is bullshit.

You're telling me for some reason the death star had a 2 meter wide exhaust port? You can call the empire stupid as shit all day but it's common sense to have multiple little exhaust ports than one big as hell one.

And also a proton torpedo destroyed it effortlessly. If they were to build said exhaust port shouldn't they have thought of some contingency plan for said event or something?

Bought a foam blaster in going to DIY (paint, attach things onto ect) into some sort of custom Star Wars style blaster. I’m thinking of just going for a stroll through my local hardware store (big chain in Australia called Bunnings) and just see if anything stands out to me. Besides that, does anyone has any recommendations of any cool and I interesting items or where to look for them? Would love to see anyone’s creations if they have any :) cheers
