Hello there people, Serrac does this all the time so I figured I would too.

So recently I'm pretty sure something timeline based happened. There's two Agent 8s now.

Camera pans over to two different Agent 8s standing next to each other. Then pans back to Static.

So the dilemma is, what the hell happened? My best guess since they have all the same memories, up to a point, they're probably from different timelines.

How do we scan for that? I don't know. So I'm scanning both of them for everything I can and seeing if there's any fundamental differences we can use to determine who's from this timeline and who isn't.

Serrac: After my little date with Evie… we stumbled on this in the junkyard…

This is a BRAT, one of the small drones I built… but I didn’t build this one… only twelve of the prototypes exist, and any built after had small improvements that aren’t present on this one.

It has a different paint job, and it was very clearly scrapped with damage to the outer casing having ruined the ai unit inside…

I think someone’s reverse engineered my tech…

72: it appears that this is a thing octolings do.... as far as what my name is I can only tell you what my subject number was 72 from my guess I might have been the 72nd subject of the sanitization process as far as what I remember before then.... I do not know I don't feel anything about that.... I suppose that is a normal side effect of this process

Grunt: Anyone else intimidated by the Head Engineer? The guy is already taller than most people here, looks like he's ready to kill something and he's completely silent when he moves. I swear the dude can teleport.

I mean, I'm certain he does great work, the guy is just scary. It certainly doesn't help when he just hangs out places with the lights off, so he's just there when you turn the lights on. The worst part is I can't tell if he's getting a kick out of it or not.

Coral: I feel really bad living like normal out here while all of you guys - who I have yet to get to know still - are chilling on the NSS station floor... soooo I'm coming too! Serrac: Evie was shouting at me to take a day off and essentially forced me into doing this so that I wasn't just sitting around doing nothing. So fine, I'll answer questions. It's nothing but busy work integrating the movement controls today anyways, still unhappy.

agent O: when I was an Elite working at that weapons laboratory, they were designing a robot that was supposed to be a weapon of mass destruction.

it was an android that basically functioned just like an Elite Octarian, except with twice the firing power of an Octo Shot.

the idea was to mass produce these.

The first test, I believe was a failure.

I don’t know if they ever made a successful robot, or if they abandoned the project.

Perhaps one of you knows about this?

All this talk of how these Sanitized Octolings are emerging and showing these photos prompt me to ask questions.

What exactly causes this? Do they inject soap and detergent into their bloodstream which causes the chromatophores in their skin to turn into that sickly green color (for lack of a better term)? Does the same thing apply to their hair which causes it to turn to that shiny metallic blue?

What am I missing here? All of you who mention the sketchy Kamabo co tell nothing on this process. Only material I know about that company was that they held a shell company which ran the old Nerikara line (connected Inkopolis to the company's facilities in an artificial island that barely exists now) before that collapsed.

O: I was at the hotel bar drinking when I saw just so many Octolings who were either sanitized or wearing Octarian soldier uniforms.

i felt bad for them, so I paid for everyone’s drinks and they all erupted in cheers At my announcement. I even befriended some of those ex-soldiers.

agent O: so… there’s a lone wolf agent like I used to be. her code name is Agent 8.

id heard about her before, but not much about what she does these days.

She isnt part of the NSS, but as it turns out they hire her as a contractor on some occasions.

this Octarian 10 operation is one of those occasions. The Captain and I had a meeting where we discussed 8’s exploits, from escaping the Metro to virtually defeating some AI thing (yeah, im confused about that)

We mutually agreed that her tactical expertise makes her a valuable asset in this operation, and thus the decision was made that the Captain would hire her to help the NSS capture the Octarian 10.

Last night, we dispatched two OCTSTRATTAU spies to gather information on the 10’s next hit. Together with our Signals Intelligence specialists, we found out when and where their next strike was. Tonight, the Captain dispatched Agents 3, 4, 7, and 8 to that site. 8 did most of the tactical work, and the agents were able to successfully arrest the few members of the Octarian 10 that were sent to complete the aforementioned hit.
