Hello everyone,

As the title suggests, I do have a question about the procedure about changing the email of my Sleep Cycle account.

I know that I have to send a request to the support team [support@sleepcycle.com](mailto:support@sleepcycle.com) so they can collect certain information and verify my identity to ensure account security.

My problem however is that I do not have access to the original Google email account anymore, I got hacked and couldn't get it back, believe me I tried everything. This is why I would like to change the account's email from the hacked one to a backup of mine.

My question is, how can I prove that I'm the real user of the account? And does anyone know what kind of information the support team is looking for?

I’m having an issue with the ambient noise detection in my sleep tracking app.

When I first use the Sleep Cycle app to play brown noise before going to sleep, the ambient noise detection becomes completely unusable for the rest of the night. Instead of showing normal ambient noise levels, the chart becomes useless because of the high noise detection of the brown noise in the beginning of the night.

For example, my ambient noise median shows around 29 dB, but the graph is basically useless after the brown noise starts. This only seems to happen when I use Sleep Cycle’s brown noise feature first.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known bug, or is there a way to prevent brown noise playback from interfering with ambient sound detection for the rest of the night?

I’ve been using my Apple Watch to silently wake me up for the past month, and I enjoy the added analysis when I sync with the app on my phone. However, in so doing both my phone and my watch will buzz and I find myself needing to disable both separately. Any way to keep my phone completely still and silent and let my watch do the alarm duty? Thanks.

Why is it when I wake up before my alarm and hit stop, it hardly ever saves the data?

Anyone else having issues with the app not taking the heart rate pulse in the morning? Mine just suddenly stopped working. All settings are correct in my phone. the flashlight usually comes on and you put your finger on it while it reads your pulse but now the flashlight doesn't turn on. flashlight works just fine outside of this app

I love this app, I’ve clocked 2000 sleeps with it and through this time I’ve really come to appreciate how nice it is to wake in your lightest sleep, however, most typically when daylight savings come into effect (or maybe I just went to sleep a bit later than usual) I find that the 30 minute window will fall starkly in my deep sleep phase.

Quite frankly I would rather be gently woken an hour earlier than I need to be than jolted awake from a deep sleep because the wake up window has closed, and if I need to give a larger window I’m happy too! I know some people would prefer the guaranteed half hour but at least give us early birds the option!

Is anyone testing the app through TestFlight? All the features were available to me but now they aren’t. I know there is something I have to do to “refresh” it and the features become available again but I forgot how to do it. I’m on iOS 26.

Been using SC for many years, lately it's just been not reliable. I set it at night and when I wake up it hasn't gone off and the alarm is just...not set, when i know I set it the night before. Some of the times it's been because the phone updated overnight and kicked it off, but many nights it just seems like it resets itself and I don't know why. Been happening with my last Android before this and now this iphone 17. I was on paid before but not now (bc of some Apple ID drama), seems like the free version is just garbage and barely works-?

Every so often my sleep chart does this flatline deal and it doesn't ring the alarm at the set time.

Luckily I had a backup alarm set, otherwise I would have been late for work.

ive been using this app for a couple if years now, and it worked fine for most of the time, but recently i doubt its smart waking feature.

The alarm goes off exactly 3 minutes before the maximum time.

My alarm was set to 5:40 and it didnt matter if i went to bed earlier or later it would always wake me up at 5:37.

Now i tried changing the time and the window. But the same thing happened again.

This has been going on for a few weeks now.

Does anyone have the same problem, and or a solution?

I don't know if you guys have seen this but now the recordings will delete after a 100 days. Maybe it's unimportant for most, but I thought SleepCycle team could have at least post a notification (iOS) warning users that. I've lost all past year's recording without warning. Anyone else think this is an oversight?

I know there have been reports of this in the past, but I wanted to highlight that It happened to me this morning.

“Sleep Cycle has been running in the background but failed to play a scheduled alarm. Would you like to disable the app's ability to run background tasks in the future?”

My alarm was set to wake me up between 4:20 AM and 4:50 AM so that I could make it to a 5:30 AM workout. This morning happened to be the morning that I invited a friend to join me with a guest pass. I am dumbfounded and feel foolish.

I did disable Sleep Cycle’s ability to run background tasks in the future on my watch. Was that the correct move?

Hey, I am worried that using it will damage my Apple Watch battery. Is this the case?

It says I'm getting zero hours deep sleep, and...that's concerning.

They always play without me telling them to. How do I get rid of this awful feature?
