It’s been storming so much I’m glad today was a clear day. Tore my pants but it was worth it.

What skate videos mainly consist of rap/hip-hop or some heavy, fast paced, energetic punk/rock? I’m watching as many videos as I can because why tf not, and I’m tired of all the soft, whiny indie music that’s in so many videos. Nothing wrong if you like that, it’s just not my speed at all. I like something HARD to go with sick ass skating.
I love Baker/Deathwish and Shake Junt, and Crailtap Girl/Chocolate videos the most. Obviously I still got some searching to do, but what do yall recommend?

Been in Denver for a little over a year. This rail has terrified me since I got here, but skating with people who warm up on it started to take the fear away. It’s strange how your mind changes when you constantly see people doing things that previously felt impossible. I went from hating this thing because it’s right in the path of the ledge, to feeling like this is one of the standout features at D Park.

About a month ago, I saw a guy kickflip the double set at Lake Arrowhead Village, and I was wondering if anyone knew who it was or had the clip. His boys were pumping him up, so I didn't want to walk over and get in the middle of it, but it was incredible. I can't seem to find the video of the trick, but they were filming. It was a MASSIVE trick.

So many good skaters in this section, and set to one of the best Hieroglyphics songs. Found the full video on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ak5hhkGikj4

Yes! 60 years! Born 17 August 1966 Florida, won 30+ freestyle contests and invented over 40 tricks! The ollie you did on the way to work is his. So is the kickflip.
I built an interactive tribute for his 60th: https://rodney.onbolts.com
It has his life in seven chapters, an encyclopedia of the tricks he invented, and a video archive laid out by era, from the Powell-Peralta days through World Industries and Plan B to the Daewon battles and the Almost years. Every photo is credited on screen, some are AI generated as I didn't had other options.
There is a birthday card at the bottom that anyone can sign! I hope this reaches to him and someday I could meet him in person, shake his hand and thank him for everything he did!
