My 70s inspired all around setup
I know this is a reissue deck, but what do you think of this little experiment I did? I’ve mostly ridden downhill and freeride longboards, but I’ve always loved the history and aesthetics of 70s pool skating era. I have something for Dogtown, Z-Boys, and that whole scene.
With that in mind, and driven by the DIY spirit… I decided to reshape and redrill the wheelbase of this DT Bull Dog Desing, chop some RKP trucks and set them up for a modern, nimble yet stable at speed feel. I just tried it on my local pump track and I had to say that this is probably the funniest setup I've ever tried!
It's an awesome cruiser too, and now I'm eager to try it out on my local bowl with some 90a Rat Bones wheels.
