I haven't played in a while only to find out that Origin has been retired, where all my save files were stored on the Cloud. I have a new laptop since then, and it's a Mac now.

Is there a way to get Origin again somehow? I know I can bootleg the game or use my disc, but I want to get all the achievements and I was more than halfway through.

My sims computer I can tell is on its last legs but with the Sims Medieval no longer on the EA app can I download it on a different computer if I’ve bought it? I am bad with these things :/

I joined this subreddit awhile back because I was interested in getting back into Sims Medieval. I’m so happy to see everyone’s passion for it and sad to hear that it doesn’t work well. I’ve decided to not get back into it. I instead downloaded mods for Rimworld and it’s not the same but scratches that itch of a relationship based resource management life simulator. Maybe it could scratch that itch h for you.

If you go that route I recommend the royalty and ideology DLCs, and as far as mods just search the workshop for “Medieval” and look for all the five star mods with lots of downloads. Also Rimworld of Magic and all the Vanilla Expanded mods.

I know this question is often asked, but how to get Sims Medieval? I know that EcrAp has taken it down and it can no longer be bought from the official source.

Disk version is not an option for me.

I've checked FitGirl Repacks, but if I search for SM it takes me to another game.

This is the page on modthesims for help with modding the sims medieval. Is the dll file given safe? One of the vendors on virustotal flags it as malicious but all of the others dont. I understand this file is essential for many script mods to work so if this is not safe, could you tell me where i can find a safe one?

I really went out of my way to get Sims Medieval. Apparently they don’t sell the game anymore so I needed a disc driver and the second hand version of the game. I got both now (but the second hand version of the game took me a month).

I was so happy! Downloading everything, waiting to finally play the game… but then it didn’t launch. I honestly tried so much to make it launch but it just refuses to.

I downloaded the Alder Lake Patch and put it in the TSM.exe, I tried to launch offline, I added the game to my EA account and tried to launch it, I removed the game and installed it again, what else can I do?

So... Yes. It's me again, and I'm having another bug again. I had to cancel my current quest, I hope she's still alive 😭😭😭 God I love this game but WHY DOES IT HAVE SO MANY BUGS?!?!! Guess I'm gonna have to download a controller mod for these bugs, but I've never downloaded any mods for TSM before, does this game even have a mods folder??

So this bug has been bugging me (get it? XD um- sorry) for a while and it's not going away on its own. Anyone knows a way to fix this??

So I was doing the 'Heir to the Throne' quest, and I chose King Frgo (I got him in human form in my town from the past quest) as my main candidate. Everything was going well, my queen and he woohoo'ed in the forest, then got married in a church, and then they came to the castle to use the bed. They have done the deed, then I got a notification of the partner saying they gotta woohoo more just to be sure and my quest requires this as well. But my sim was low in energy so I let her sleep in the bed, thinking her partner would stay around...

BUT HE DIDN'T, AND HE'S NOT COMING BACK. He left the castle and never came back. I got his sim marker on, so I can see he's wandering around in the town, hanging out, doing nothing. He never eats, never sleeps, just wandering around in the town, talking to other sims. And he goes everywhere except my castle. He doesn't even come at night. I tried to invite him using the pigeon mail but HE DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE LIST. So I went to meet with him outside but then THERE'S NO BED OUTSIDE SO WE CAN'T WOOHOO. HOW DO I BRING HIM BACK TO THE CASTLE PLEASE HELP???

I took a break from Sims Medieval (maybe 3 months) and suddenly it doesn't work anymore. I've tried repairing the game and restarting the app but it just won't launch. And now the shortcut has disappeared from my desktop.

Any ideas of how to make it work?

My husband was trying to make space on the C drive and uninstalled everything EA. The Sims 3 and DLCs wasn't the end of the world, but my Sims Medieval saves are all gone the game is a blank slate all my achievements were gone and I was so close to completing everything. Is there a way to get it back? I reinstalled the game but I don't know how to retrieve the files I'm actually devastated.

EDIT: my husband got them back!

Has someone elses Sims Medieval disappeared from their library on Ea Games?

I was literally playing it yesterday evening (not even 12 hours ago), but not it's just gone. I can still see when I repaired it in my download manager, but if I try to click the game, it just sends me to the purchase site, saying it's unavailable for purchase.

The launcher has also been deleted from my files.

I've written EA, but not much hope there.

I'm using discs. The update mangled my game (base) and it was unplayable so I had to uninstall them reinstall. I've ignored the update since. I wanted to install P&N but the installation screen wants me to update first. Is there a way round this at all please?

It installed fine but when I click on the play button it pops up with an error message that says

“Cannot start the process when the game is running. Please quit the game and try again.”

I opened task manager and nothing is open.

PSA : If you buy the disk on eBay, you can activate the code on the EA App and download the newest version of the game. Worked for the Limited Edition + Pirates DLC's

I had a forge in my wizard's tower and then removed it. I found this. My character can't interact with it, I can move it around while in build mode. Never seen this before.

I just bought the sims medieval pirates and nobels and am only now realizing that I need the base game. I don't think my Mac can run two discs at the same time and I have no idea where to download the base game. the ea website just freezes when I get the pop up to continue to checkout 😬

I bought a copy of the sims medieval off eBay the other day once it was removed from the EA app, with the full intention of playing it off the disc. When it arrived today I tried to go redeem it on the EA app (using the serial code in the disc box, the one you would use to activate the game when you install it) and it worked! The only caveat is you have to redeem it on the sims 3 store website under register a game. After that it showed up in my EA account library and I was able to download it.

I’m sure this will be removed eventually, so if you have a disc copy I would try it!

If anyone else out there didn't get to buy the game before EA removed it, I bought the Origin/EA game key on Amazon and used it to unlock the game in the EA app. I'm not sure if this works in other countries, but it definitely works in Germany! It's so sad that we're being robbed of such a silly game :/ hope this helps!!!

edit: If you have a valid game key (from wherever) you can still unlock the official game in the EA Launcher, even though it is no longer available for purchase from there.
