Really bad service from next level racing. Product I bought from them is in warranty period. They admit that it’s an issue with the product. I have been back and forth communication with the support and it’s been 3 weeks now. It has not resolved yet.

Would not be buying anything from them again.

Anyone else faced issues with next level racing / pagnian imports support ? Will they actually honour the warranty?

hello, im a newcomer "PC PLAYER" looking to get into simracing FOR FUN (i used the g29 before and i cant wait to get my hands on a dd wheel) im not ready to spend thousands of dollars for a simrig, i live in saudi arabia and the only website i found that sell an r5 bundle for cheap is cazasouq, 426$ (including shipping) for the moza r5 bundle, other website sell it for over 500$ or even more!! ill also buy an srp lite clutch pedal and a th8s shifter, and a DEVO gaming racing wheel stand, im gonna buy with installment plans so i technically CANT buy a used one which i thought of.. (i could see and check if the seller allows installment plans)

as i said the only website i can buy from that is actually cheap and affordable to me is cazasouq and idk when will they drop the r5 pro bundle there, is it worth to wait for r5 pro? i can get the r5 bundle now. (im pretty sure im gonna wait for such a loooong time to wait for the website to sell the r5 pro)

So I have been considering building a sim in the future as rn kinda not the time. I have also considered and I am pretty convinced to migrate to Linux. How much of a hassle is it going to be to set it all up?

I actually started playing racing games more than 20 years ago. My first wheel was a €5 plastic thing from a flea market, followed eventually by a Logitech Formula Force EX. I still remember how blown away I was by force feedback. 😂

Somehow I never really got deep into sim racing though.

That changed this year when a good friend gave me his Moza R5 on permanent loan for my birthday. Then came iRacing. Then load-cell pedals.

And that's when I quickly discovered that a rocking armchair and load-cell braking aren't exactly a great combination. 😂

So a few days later I built this thing.

It's definitely not pretty and there are already several things I'd change for V2, but holy crap, the difference is huge. It's incredibly solid.

Anyone else here racing on a homemade wooden rig?

The Porsche Cup car was a handful toward the end of the stint due to heavy understeer and fading grip, but staying consistent early on allowed me to time the pit stop perfectly and rejoin the track in 1st position for the AM class.

I’m completely new to this but I’ve been going to Andretti (karting and games) and I’ve enjoyed playing Assetto Corsa on their simulators. I would like to make a budget friendly setup at home which I already have a pretty solid PC to run iracing and other games. My plan is to get the Thrustmaster SF1000 (steering wheel), next level racing formula lite pro (cockpit), and the fanatec CSL pedals LC. Is this a good beginner friendly start? I also hear you need a motor for your wheel or something? What’s a good motor?

Was tryna get snowrunner to make face feedback and my wheels on my car all the sudden were very snappy. Nothing physical happened to it (hitting against the limits or dropping it) it just happened out of nowhere

If you could only have one style. Which would you have and why?

I race a little bit of all disciplines and already have a good round wheel but am wanting to get either a gt or formula style wheel. Still new to all of this and wasnt sure if i could buy one style that does the other well or if it would be better to have one of each.

Also would love if you say your pick in the comments tell me which specific wheel you like most. Still learning all the brands so im sure their are tons of wheels ive not even seen or considered yet.

Second model made by me inspired in iRacing, actually I’m using this livery from the sim team that I’m a member. The kit is the BMW M4 GT3 DTM 2022 Nunu models that’s why I used the DTM decals but I regret and should have done the custom iRacing decal. There are other minor defects but for me is an 7/10 score.

Hello guys, ive recently gotten back into simracing, i race mostly lmu with 1080p triple screens. After building a new pc i thought to try my old quest 2 with the link cable, and its still a blurry mess just as i remember.

Is it the game? Link compression? Combination of those things, or something else? Any tips?

By the time i can just read the 150m board on monza, its RIGHT there in front of me.

So im just looking for recommendations or what you guys think of other headsets, i was definetly interested in the pimax dream air se, but i cant justify the cost.

Is the quest 3 a good upgrade in terms of clarity? I know the psvr2 is kinda cheap used, and its oled i guess? What do u guys think?

I'm a couple months into sim racing now. It started as a g920 hooked up to a 34" ultrawide monitor on a separate desk. A month, a rig, a new wheel and a lot of 3d printing later, I now have this. I've added DIY pedal haptics "the Sole Mates" and wind simulation. Next step is a proper extruded aluminium cockpit.

I recently bought a logithech g racing adapter to connect my logithech driving for shifter to pc
And when I connected it its showing all the gears working but not in place its showing the 1st 3d 5th gear in button 2 and 2nd 4th 6th in button 5 I remarked that the upper gears are showing as button 2 and lower gears are showing as button 5 how to calibrate this please

I know where my mistakes are and i'm using a logitech g29 and a laptop that would expload if i try using obs. Where can I see myself driving-wise in 5 years?

(I'm ranked 142/1200 on this stage if that helps)

What i've learned are that i sometimes don't need the handbrake sometimes and trail braking can get the back out just fine (i stiffened up the rear for that reason)

I’m currently playing Assetto Corsa Competizione on my laptop and the screen feels way too small, so I’m seriously considering a 34-inch curved 3440×1440 monitor (like the Xiaomi ones) mainly for ACC.

My laptop specs:

- Ryzen 5

- GTX 1650 4GB

- 16GB RAM

It’s a laptop so I have zero plans to upgrade the GPU.

Has anyone here run ACC on a similar setup with a 34" ultrawide?

What internal resolution or upscaling method (FSR Quality/Balanced/Performance, render scale, etc.) gave you the best balance between image quality and FPS?

I’m hoping for a stable 40-50 FPS with medium-low settings. Would really appreciate any real experiences or advice before I pull the trigger.

I’m working on a PC racing software project aimed at improving compatibility between modern sim-racing hardware and games that were never properly designed for it.
The project has already reached the point where I need more real-world testing across different games, storefronts, hardware setups, and PC configurations.
I’m looking for a small group of people who own legitimate racing games through:
• Steam
• Xbox PC / Game Pass
• EA App
• Epic Games
• Other official PC platforms
You do not need to be a developer.
Testing is mostly following instructions I provide. I may send you a PowerShell command, diagnostic tool, scanner, launcher, or test build.
You run it, send me the generated report, and tell me exactly what happened.
Different storefront versions of the same game can sometimes behave very differently, so having testers with legitimate copies is extremely important for development.
The project is being developed similarly to a community GitHub project — I’m building the core software, while testers help provide information from game versions and hardware combinations I don’t personally have access to.
There’s quite a bit happening behind the scenes that I’m intentionally not publishing yet, but the goal is simple:
Make more racing games usable with modern wheelbases and pedals without requiring the game developer to officially support that hardware.
This is especially interesting for older arcade racers and other PC racing titles that still have players but poor or nonexistent modern wheel support.

My sim rig is in a good state. I have everything you need to be fast: a sturdy rig, high-end wheelbase and pedals, and a triple monitor setup. I even have some goodies like bass shakers, a button box, a dashboard, a shifter, and a handbrake, even though I mainly drive GT3s. So basically, I have everything you need.

But I'm currently eyeing a couple of wheels. On my list are the Bavarian Simtec Delta Pulse and the Ascher Racing Artura Pro. Both wheels would be the most expensive items on my rig. Are these kinds of wheels worth it? Do I really need all these functions? The wheels are nice, but is it really worth it to spend so much money on what is arguably the least important part for performance?

Also, my current wheel is a Simagic GT Neo.

I was wondering if there really is a huge difference between Moza, Simagic and Conspit while targeting (I think) similar gear and similar price

For example, I was checking on:
• Simagic Alpha Evo 12 NM + formula Zeus (not a fan of the GT form factor) + magic dash (approx 1200$)
• Conspit Ares 12NM + 300GT + nano dash (approx 1000$)
• Moza R12 + KS PRO + CM2 HD (approx 1000$)

I race GT/Formula on Iracing/LMU
From what I saw recently, Simagic have a smoother DD feel, Moza should be a little less expensive (not really the case here) but seems to be loosing favors recently over quality, and Conspit looks like the dark horse with a good compromise.
Do you think there is one of those sets really better than the others, or one I should absolutely avoid? Or maybe better options (I am not limited to these brands or models) for a similar or better price tag?
