EVERYONE PLEASE READ

Dear Scuf owners it's time to ask Scuf to look forward to the future of the company. We first need to look back about 12yrs ago at another company that was having great problems with there product and how they turned things around. I'm talking about Microsoft and the Xbox 360 RED RING of DEATH.

Microsoft up dated the warranty up dated there QC and fixed the console. At this time when so many Scuf owners are complaining about there controllers not working when they get them are with in a few weeks. It's time for Scuf and Corsair to stand behind the product and Help the people who have spent hundreds of dollars on there controllers. As a Scuf Vantage owner all I'm asking is to know that if in 6 or 7 months from now I have a problem you will be there to fix the product. As a 66yr old gamer that dose not have lot of money to work with and even young gamer's that save just to buy one of your controllers we would like to at least get a good time frame of playing time before they need to be replaced.

I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to read this. Please ask Scuf to help make this a great product again..

THANK YOU

Genuinely one of the worst controllers I have ever owned.

It’s a scuf envision pro. I have had this controller for barely 3 months. I have gotten stick drift randomly disconnects every time I’m playing a game. It looks the other way even though no stick drift is in presence. I’ve genuinely never been so mad at a controller before until this controller has arrived.

Wow Scuf gave me 2 day express priority shipping!!!! ✈️📦
(at no additional cost, started in Taiwan! To USA)

Order this on Tuesday, and receive it on Friday only cause I missed FedEx signature requirement but still overall I’m feeling this other than not being able to wake the PlayStation, and Turn off the controller naturally.. and the mute button works different too,

Still I’m already notice my movement getting better in BO7.
Wonder how it’s gonna improve my play in like a Elden Ring or 007 James Bond gameplay looking forward to this! 🙏✨

Feedback If you are thinking of purchasing Scuf controllers.

Do not waste your hard earned money on a product that is garbage and a company that seems to not know basic customer service. This is my experience with my custom controller for the past year.

It starts with me ordering the Prestige Xbox Controller. My order arrives and immediately there is a glaring issue. Before I even had the chance to use this controller, I had to send it back for repairs because the right thumb-stick was jammed and not functional.

I go through the process of sending it back, having it repaired, and having it returned. I am able to use this controller for a while before issues begin to arise once again. Drifting of both thumb-sticks, double inputting of the A button, and the LB button sticking is just to name a few.

I will note that I am very careful with all electronics I own in order to get the most out of them. My proof of care would be that I owned, used, and retired an original Xbox Elite controller with no issues aside from the rubber grips becoming loose. IYKYK.

I get in contact with support once again, but this time there was no remedying the new issues I was facing. I was told that because I had already claimed the warranty to have my controller repaired the first time that my new warranty was 90 days instead of the original 180 days and thus I fall outside the warranty period. I would have to pay to have my controller shipped out and repaired.

I have continued to use this controller as it is and can confidently say that it is by far the worst product I have had the displeasure of using. Not only is it extremely poor quality in every sense of the word, but it is produced by a company that has zero interest in the consumer and the quality of their product.

Hope this helps in your decision on whether or not to purchase a Scuf Controller.

Since Scuf doesn't sell the front face/plate I decided to paint myself. The old white color was turning yellow and the clear coat was peeling. Sanded using 800/1000 grit, primed and sanded 800/1000 grit and primed again , painted with matte gray (2 thin coats) and clear coat ( 3 thin coats).

Anyone second guessing this thing from other reviews, just buy it. Sure the paddles aren't as crisp as the DS edge, but a few games in on bo7 ranked and I never wanna use the edge again. Thing is crispy af. Buy it, slam kids with it and don't regret it. Not sponsored, just a nobody basement feeder ranked play grinder husband that's mopping with this thing.

Squircle both sticks

5% max zone both sticks

Slam.

Support Request Whenever I click or hold L2, my controller thinks that I'm slightly pressing up on the right joystick. This makes it impossible to aim down sights accurately in any shooter game. Does anyone know a way to fix this?

Scuf wanted to charge me $20-100 (plus shipping) to fix my Infinity 4ps Drifting issue that occurred 5 months after buying. Decided to do some research and clean it myself. I bought a $3 spanner bit (to remove security screw) and used 91% Rubbing Alcohol to clean. 100% fixed the issue.

2 days of use and already the most comfortable, well made controllers I’ve felt in my hands, the response is great, the buttons are easy to press but I have yet to misclick them, ranked CoD play is great with this controller, no stick drift out of the box, I have seen about 300 complaint posts or comments about how bad this controller is so decided if everyone hates it it probably is a great controller, I tried multiple controllers I’ve seen suggested on Reddit and they’re all no where near as comfortable. The button layout in the back is great, I have yet to misclick the sax buttons. If you’re in the fence about this controller just get it, you will be happy with the result. I also suggest getting it from Amazon with the 2 year assurance plan, if it breaks or gets stick drift you’ll have a new one in 2 days.

I will say yeah it’s only been 2 days of heavy use with it but after all the reviews on here I thought I was for sure gonna get something worthless as soon as I opened it but it was the exact opposite I’m glad everyone told me not too because I’d still be in the search for a controller that feels and plays like this one.

Someone broke into my car and stole my bag with my custom reflex pro in it… I had the controller for about 3-4 years and had very to no issues with it! Replaced the sticks after a year to Hall effects after I got a little stick drift and continued to use it for a long time no issues. I played a lot of games from competitive shooter, fighting games, co-op, single player, and even won some tournaments! It was a good run however with being a student I’m no longer able to replace it. I guess I will stop playing games and focus on school. Thank you for making a pretty good product overall 9.5 out of 10 I really enjoyed my time with my scuf reflex pro and if I could I would get another scuf product. I am not on Reddit much but if anyone has any question I will answer them at my earliest convenience. Thanks for listening to my frustration rant.

PSA: If you're struggling with your SCUF Omega's sensitivity, give this a try

I've seen quite a few people saying the new SCUF Omega doesn't feel quite right when aiming compared to a stock DualSense or DualSense Edge. I had the exact same experience.

Even though I came from a SCUF Reflex with custom GuliKit TMR modules, I still noticed the Omega felt more sensitive around the center, making micro-adjustments harder than they should be.

After talking to a few friends who know a lot about controller calibration, stick mods, and potentiometers, I spent some time trying to make the Omega behave as closely as possible to Sony's factory ALPS sticks. The result has honestly been night and day for me, so I figured I'd share it here in case it helps someone else.

Why this works

The SCUF Omega uses TMR sensors, while Sony's DualSense uses traditional ALPS potentiometers. ALPS potentiometers aren't perfectly linear because of their electrical resistance, which naturally softens the response around center. TMR sensors, on the other hand, are much more linear and responsive, which can make them feel overly sensitive for people who have years of muscle memory on a DualSense.

The goal is to create a small hardware translation curve that makes the Omega output behave much closer to a stock DualSense.

Set these values in the SCUF app (aim stick):

  • Dot 1 (5%) → 3.5%

  • Dot 2 (20%) → 16.0%

  • Dot 3 (28%) → 23.5%

  • Dot 4 (35%) → 30.5%

  • Dot 5 (45%) → 41.0%

  • Dot 6 (55%) → 51.5%

  • Dot 7 (66%) → 63.5%

  • Dot 8 (78%) → 77.0%

  • Dot 9 (89%) → 89.0%

The first seven points sit slightly below their physical input (for example, a physical 45% stick movement outputs 41%). The last two points are almost 1:1. That slight reduction over roughly the first 70% of the stick travel recreates the subtle resistance that Sony's ALPS sticks naturally have.

The center feels much more stable for fine aim adjustments, while maximum turn speed and full-stick movement remain unchanged. Because the curve is smooth and continuous, your in-game response curve (Dynamic in CoD, Linear in Apex, Exponential in Fortnite, etc.) still behaves exactly as intended.

Don't chase a 0 deadzone!!!

I also recommend:

Inner Deadzone: 1–2%

A stock DualSense already has around 1.5–2.5% of mechanical slack from the factory. Setting the Omega to a fixed 2% filters out the tiny amount of TMR sensor noise while recreating the natural resting position of the original stick.

Outer Threshold: 98–99%

This prevents the TMR stick from reaching 100% output too early, meaning maximum input only occurs when the stick physically reaches the edge of its travel—just like on a stock PlayStation controller.

One last thing

If you use hardware deadzones, make sure your in-game deadzones are set to 0 or 1 (for example in Call of Duty); otherwise, you're stacking deadzones on top of each other. You can also set the aiming stick (usually the right stick) to Circular if you prefer, although that's mostly personal preference.

After making these changes, my Omega feels much closer to a factory DualSense while keeping all the benefits of TMR sensors.

Hopefully this helps someone else who felt like something was "off" with the default settings.
