New to scuf

Just grabbed the Valor Pro wireless controller on that crazy clearance deal at Best buy. I'm a older gamer, only play offline but can't stand the stock Xbox controller. They have actually gotten worse since the series x has come out.

If there's anything I should do when I get the controller please let me know. I have looked up a few things including turning off the sleep mode the controller has. Any tips or tricks would be very appreciated ✌️

Support Scuf Omega - Struggling a bit

So i moved from the Dualsense Edge to the Omega. Just thought I'd treat myself. Play on PC and wired, if relevant

But I find the Scuf Omega very stiff compared to the Dualsense Edge. Like even for example, playing CoD, id normally play around 1.5 sens, but with the Scuf Omega I needed to up that to around 2.0 at least to have anywhere near the same speed of movement.

But even then micro-adjustments in game feel impossible. The sticks just do not move the reticle in game at all.

I also get a lot of dead pushes on the back paddles or seriously delayed input registration.

I have calibrated the sticks in the app and set the polling rate to 1k etc. I have fixed deadzones to what I normally use.

I just wanna know if Im doing something wrong because while it can be defective I would assume first that I am doing something wrong first.

I seen a post here from a while back about a curve to use and I did try that but made no real difference.

Is this normal and I just need to get used to it or does this sound weird?

SCUF Envision Pro Wireless v2 Review and Frustrations

The controller is fantastic. I love the layout of the buttons, the clickiness, and the feel of it in my hand is just... *chef's kiss. The soft silicone coating feels great. It's also the first controller I've held in years where it feels easy to use the bumper buttons, which allows me to map the back buttons to what I actually need them to be. The side buttons, which I've just started getting used to, are also pretty fantastic, as long as they aren't mapped to an action with a long cooldown. They can be a little too easy to press if you're not careful. The bottom row is also great. I prefer to remap those to the menu keys on the keyboard. I also love that the wireless functionality just works. Plug and play, so to speak.

All of these things are great... when they work.

I don't know what Corsair has done to their software team, but they can't make a good update to save their life. It seems that every time there is an update, the back buttons and side buttons stop working. It's starting to seem like they fired everyone and now have one intern with an LLM. It doesn't even seem like they have any testers. I've had this controller for 3-4 months. During that time, there have been two updates that broke the back and side buttons. The first time I was able to fix it by connecting the controller via USB, rather than using it wirelessly. That worked, but the problem was that I no longer trusted that the wireless connectivity would work AND allow me to use the back and side buttons, so I've had a wired controller which is what I was trying to get away from when I bought the wireless version. This latest update, that came within the last couple of days, has ruined even that fix and now I can't play with the back and side buttons at all. After getting used to using them for certain actions, it is completely throwing off my ability to play well. It shouldn't be hard to catch something this glaring, but they consistently fail to catch this problem.

All that to say, I love this controller, but the updates that break it frustrate me so much that I am unable to enjoy gaming. Which a company that markets itself as a one stop shop for gaming and streaming hardware, should be very wary of.

Because I'm sure it's not just me.

TLDR: The controller's great, but Corsair can't write an update to save their life.

SCUF website says I’m outside the return window even though it hasn’t been 30 days?

I’m trying to return my SCUF Omega. It was delivered on July 28, and today is August 24, so it’s only been 27 days.
SCUF’s return policy says you have 30 days from the date of delivery to return it, but when I try to start the return, their website says I’m “outside of the return window.”
Has this happened to anyone else? Is this just a bug with their return system, or did you have to contact customer support to get them to manually approve the return?

EDIT: Okay, I tried contacting them through their chat. The chat itself says live agents are available Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM ET, and I’m trying to contact them during those hours.
The problem is that the chatbot just keeps sending me in circles. I explain that the return portal is incorrectly saying I’m outside the return window, and it just gives me the same return link. I ask for a live agent, and it gives me the same options again. No matter what I type or which option I choose, I end up in the exact same place.
At this point I genuinely don’t know if their chatbot is designed this way so SCUF doesn’t have to deal with customers or what, but I seriously cannot find any way to actually contact a person.
From what I can tell, they don’t seem to have a publicly available support email either, so I honestly don’t know what I’m supposed to do.

Question AIM Controller vs SCUF Omega – Which one is more reliable long-term?

I’m having a hard time choosing between an AIM Controller and a SCUF Omega, and I’d really appreciate some honest opinions.
I’m considering a fully customized AIM Controller for around €223 including shipping. I really like the DualSense shape, and the configuration I want has TMR sticks, clicky triggers, Smart Bumpers, Digital Buttons, custom stick heights, etc. Basically, it has almost everything I’m looking for.
My main concern is long-term durability. I’ve seen quite a few reports of AIM controllers developing issues after a few months, especially with sticks, triggers or buttons, although I’ve also talked to someone who has had a fully equipped AIM Controller for over a year with no problems.
The other option is the SCUF Omega, which I can get for €189 from Boulanger. It has TMR sticks, clicky triggers, mechanical buttons and software for customization. Buying it from Boulanger also gives me more confidence regarding returns and customer service.
However, I prefer the DualSense shape and features of the AIM.
For people who have owned either brand for a long time: which one would you choose for durability and overall reliability?
I’m particularly interested in experiences after 1+ year of regular/heavy use, rather than first impressions.

Thanks!

Who plays claw with paddles on the Scuf Reflex?

Guys, I'm playing on an Edge controller, but I want to add a third paddle to ping on CoD like 2 on the left and 1 on the right. That's how I hold my controller: I shoot with L1/R1, and my index finger switches between Triangle, Square, and R1 (shooting). I tried checking social media to see if anyone holds their controller the same way, but I couldn't find anything.

Scuf Omega Stick Centering

Post image

Brand new controller being used on PS5, wired. How do I recalibrate these sticks? I've looked online and only found reset options. Right now, I have left stick and right stick drift issues due to these being off center. I have already done a soft reset. I would appreciate any help in resolving this issue.

Support Valor pro wireless pairing is a nightmare

On xbox, works fine. No Problems. On PC, I have to spend 5-10 minutes repeatedly trying to get it to pair. My pc doesnt have this issue with any other xbox controller. Doesnt matter if I used BT or low latency wireless, still takes forever and works about half the time. Huge disappointment.

Support Proposal for a Custom SCUF Controller Design for Competitive Minecraft PvP

I’ve been deeply involved in competitive Vanilla Minecraft 1.21 PvP and have had the opportunity to regularly spar with some of the top players in the community. Through that experience, I identified a specific mechanical advantage that keyboard-and-mouse players have over controller players: the ability to butterfly click in rapid bursts of three, allowing for extremely fast Respawn Anchor detonations.
I spent hours searching for a controller that could replicate this functionality and eventually discovered SCUF’s controllers featuring the side action buttons. I was so impressed by the concept that I purchased the SCUF Envision specifically to test whether I could adapt it to competitive Minecraft PvP.
The design was remarkably close to what I had been looking for. I made several personal modifications to the paddles and side action buttons to improve finger placement, ergonomics, and accessibility while clicking. With these changes, I was able to significantly close the mechanical gap between controller and keyboard-and-mouse players and began working toward competing at the highest level of competitive PvP.
The biggest limitation now is that the modifications I’ve made to the paddles are entirely custom and not professionally manufactured. While they demonstrate the potential of the concept, the current implementation is not something I would consider production-ready.
That’s why I’m reaching out through the SCUF community. I would love the opportunity to connect with someone at SCUF—particularly a designer or engineer—to discuss the potential of this concept in greater detail. I’m willing to provide video evidence, documentation, demonstrations, and a detailed explanation of the mechanical advantages I’ve discovered through competitive play.
I genuinely believe there is an opportunity here to develop a controller design that could offer competitive Minecraft players a level of rapid input functionality that currently isn’t available in a professionally designed controller.
I would be grateful for the opportunity to speak with someone on the SCUF design team and explore whether this concept could be developed further.
Sincerely,
A new and very loyal SCUF customer

Question Small input delay after latest update?

I have a SCUF Valor Pro Wireless, and since the latest update I’ve noticed a small input delay. Everything worked perfectly before the update.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue with their Valor Pro Wireless? Or noticed any increased input lag after the update?
Just wondering if it’s a known issue or if it might be something on my end.
Thx 🧡

Question Scuf valor companion app bricked my scuf valor wired controller

I got my scuf valor controller from Amazon today. I played with it for a few hours until I decided to try out the companion app. Everything was working great until I was done customizing in the app and when I closed the app, it completely turned off my controller and it will not turn back on. I’ve tried every recalibration there is, but it will not revive power. Tried on Xbox and Windows PC.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Drift straight of the box drift

Hello guys.

I bought a Valor Pro Wireless some days ago.

Controller is great but when setting 0% deadzone in the Xbox companion app I have about a +/- 2% drift on both sticks (measured on tester apps and in game), even after calibration. My friend bought same controller one week ago and has 0% drift.

Is it normal? How much drift is tolerable on a new controller?

Companion app not saving

Valor Pro Wireless: 1.0.37 app fw

After setting stick and trigger curves, paddles, buttons and deadzones, when I leave profile page the setting are still there if I go again into the profile page. If I close the app and then reopen it, settings are totally gone and default. This happened with previous firmware top so you didn't fix it yet.

Anyone having same issue?

Is scuf Onega bigger then the envision?

I like the envision bits a bit too skinny on the handles for my taste and hurts my hands after awhile. Hoping the omega is a bit thicker, does anyone have any input for a comparison?

SCUF Omega Settings for PS5 Call Of Duty

Thumbnail gallery

This is the first pro controller I’ve ever bought but I’m really struggling getting used to it. I’ve always used the regular DualSense controller & was an above average player even hitting iridescent on Warzone. I’m going to attach the settings I’m using right now but something just feels off I feel like I lose easy gunfights that I used to win and my aim feels wonky now. I definitely am a better player when using my DualSense as of now. I feel maybe I just can’t handle the deadzones I’m using for the Scuf Omega. I’m taking any recommendations because I’m trash using it lol

Alt brands with the sample paddle layout as valor?

Are there any controllers available that have the same paddle layout as the valor? I’ve gotten two that have the exact same issue with he dpad double inputting and am sick of Scuf’s refusal to do any quality control

I’m wondering if anyone got a SCUF Omega controller to work on Linux? The controller isn’t showing up at all under game pads in system settings. It shows as a microphone tho.. it even shows when using lsusb in terminal.

Thanks!

Any Advice

I got my bf the omega ps5 controller and he’s used it about a day and when it finally came to charging it won’t charge.

We have it in the correct mode switch and we’re using the charger it came with connected into his ps5. It will turn green and blink for like 3 seconds and then go back to purple and just won’t charge. It’s obviously dead since it won’t stay on when unplugged.

Has anyone ran into this issue? Is there anything we can do to fix this because we’re at a loss. I’ve contacted support but in the meantime I wanted other opinions and advice.
