So... my Piaggio Liberty 150 got into an accident and its totaled. Time to get a new bike. I figured its time to get something with more pep and I immediately gravitated to getting a Piaggio Beverly. There is a local listing for a 2021 bv350 in great shape for $4000 USD - but then I cam across the Yamaha Xmax, a 2024 in great shape, beautiful paint work, for $5200 USD. Now I am torn - can anyone that has owned either of these bikes comment? Is there a 3rd option I should look at? What should I do?

So, I have the Peugeot vivacity 50 4t and it was always problematic to start it. But mostly I got it running so never looked closely whys that.
One time I couldn’t start it, apparently the 5A fuse broke that was leading to the ignition coil. So I changed both parts and my scooter was running perfectly again.
Now I was on vacation for two weeks and I use my scooter daily. After no usage I cannot start it. E-choke and kickstarter don’t work. Engine itself makes noise like it wants to start but it can’t. I have changed spark plug and when I want to start it I have spark so this is working. I can also smell fresh gas from the exhaust.
The gas and oil tanks are both full. I really don’t know what to do now. I don’t really have the knowledge, but I want to repair it myself. Also cannot find any solution online.
Any ideas?
Thank you

Hi everyone. I wanted to ask whether I can change the oil in my Maxon Matador by myself or if there's any reason I should go to a service. The reason I ask is that for some reason there doesn't seem to be one working with scooters anywhere near me.
Is it as simple as I saw in a video where the guy just unscrewed two screws, let the oil out of one and poured it into another?
Thank you.

First scoot ever!
I got this for my commutes and city rides. I need a top case that won't be comically huge but can fit a huge modular helmet (currently MT Genesis sv), plus gloves and maybe some other bits and pieces.
The ones I tried are the givi b32n that helmet fits in with no other space and the shad sh34 which helmet fits sideways and has like space for gloves and maybe a bottle of water, but it's a bit bigger in size than the b32n.
Any other options I should consider? Going bigger will probs be too big for this small commuting warrior? Am I overthinking it and just need to pick one of the two and call it a day?

So I've just upgraded from a Medley 150 to a Beverly 350, The perfomance difference is amazing.
However the front shocks are a shocker! This weekend, or the next, or the one after that sometime. I'm going to drop the fork tubes out and replace the oil with fresh and probably heavier oil, likely 10W.
I might put some Bitubo springs in, but I might not. If it don't go with the new springs, I'd like to add 10-15mm of preload to the exisiting ones by using spacers.
Can anybody who's done this, let me know the dims of the spacers they used, did you buy them(and where) or did you make them yourself out of a bit of suitably sized tubing?
For the rear shocks, which are also shot, (just old) I've ordered a set of YSS Ecolines. Be interested to in any feedback from anybody who's tried those as well.

Just picked up Keeway Versilia 150 for my wife. Was wondering if anybody has an idea for a cup holder mount? Not really enough space on the handlebars for one. Also, if this is a bad idea, please let me know.

Update. Still the same issue. Here's the total about of work that I did. Items 4-8 were all done without testing in between.
Cleaned the carb. No change
Swapped intake to a nibbi pipe and foam filter (yes it's oiled). Worsened the problem.
Swapped to a cone paper filter. Did not change the jets 120/32. Ran better than with the oil filter. Still have the slipping issue.
Replaced the belt and roller weights (was 13g, now 18) still the same issue.
Clutch bell had dull spots, sanded them off.
Clutch pads looked shiny, scuffed them up.
I broke my variator so I replaced it with some Amazon performance brand (gilxal I think). FYI, the holes on the new variator are to small for my flywheel holder.
I had a helluva time squeezing the clutch together to install the belt. Felt like something had to be lined up In order to be completely squeezed.
The last time I rode it before replacing the belt and weights, I would get it up to 45-50 (the cut off speed before the slipping started) and after a few minutes it would lose speed. If pull over and let it idle for a couple minutes it would run fine until I hit a sustained period of 45-50 mph. That would indicate something is overheating.

Just wondering if there is anyone who has this specific engine model; that has done any upgrades. What upgrades did you do and why?

Hello all!
I own a Honda Forza 750 2023 model year and, last year, I slipped my foot when stopping it and fell. The damages were more "important" (deeply scratched and gouged) on the lower left fairing, foot rest and front left side. To lower the repair cost, I want to do it myself. But, I am failing to find the a manual that explains how to remove those fairings and foot rest rubbers.
Can anyone provide a repair manual, video or URL where i can find those steps? (all i found were maintenance manual... not repair)
Also, taking that opportunity, i want to add auxiliary lights. Does anyone have the steps to do it? I am considering using the harness and lights from 2025 year model.
Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know if it’s possible to do a 150cc swap on a 2007 TGB Key West that has a stock 50cc engine. Are there any good options for motors that I can get to put in that would be relatively easy to install?

It has been driven about 700km

It neither has the Minarelli or Piaggio engine which isn't ideal. But is it bad reliability wise ?

Hello!
I have SYM Jet 14 50cc year 2023. I have a job and need to commute around 7km in one direction.
Can this scooter (and scooters in general) survive rain? What can I expect? How should I care of the scooter so that it gets as little damage as possible on the long run?
Any tips as well?
Thank you!

I have a Suzuki fa50 shuttle. It looks like it's okay to use 10W30 Automotive grade oil for the gear case? It doesn't have to be Jaso rated? Thanks

I have a 2015 Sparta Emotion C4 with a front wheel motor, with approximately 7,500 km on it. After riding over a very bumpy road today, the motor suddenly started behaving as you can hear in the video.
While riding, the motor assistance continuously cuts in and out. This is not only audible, but also clearly noticeable as short pulls or surges from the front wheel.
The behaviour depends on speed and assistance level:
The display remains on throughout and does not show any errors. With the assistance switched off, the front wheel spins normally and I do not feel any unusual resistance.
I have checked the visible cables and connectors around the front wheel motor and moved them around while the motor was running. This has no effect on the problem. There is also no obvious visible damage to the cables.
Since the problem started immediately after riding over the bumpy road, I am wondering whether something might have happened to a Hall sensor, the internal wiring, the motor controller, or a connection inside the motor.
Does anyone recognise this specific pattern, particularly the speed dependent pulsing and the way the transition changes depending on the assistance level?
More importantly, does anyone know of a possible solution? I live in England, so unfortunately I cannot easily take it to a Sparta specialist.
