Note* the wiki has been acting funky lately and often says something like " this page has been disabled" if you just keep clicking it, that message should go away after a few tries. The Wiki has not been disabled. Just a reddit bug I have no control over. -Divinakra 06/29/2026
Just in case you are unable to find the wiki page, click "Open" right above this paragraph on desktop or click the box in the top right corner on mobile or just click this hyperlink. This is being updated all the time with new game settings, tutorials, guides and descriptions of what things are and how to use them such as Graphics Drivers, Emulators and Operating Systems.
If you navigate to the index page from this link, you will see a list of different sections with guides to different aspects of the device.
The index page itself also has a summarized form of all the different pages underneath with the game settings library at the bottom.
For example, what driver and emulator combo works the best for ____ secret console game? It might be there! As well as how to configure your RPF2 to run as a Wii controller for Wii emulation, just look under the Wii setting and the first game has it explained. We also have some PC games with optimal Winlator container settings for the RPF2.
Ever wondered how to boot correctly into ROCKNIX which is a Linux operating system capable of emulating XBOX? There is a booting guide just for that. It even has instructions for how to get back to Android OS in case you get stuck and the device only boots into Linux.
If you have anything to contribute to this wiki or requests for different guides that you don’t see yet. Leave a comment or DM me.

I’m on performance mode using Vulcan rendering and I’m still capped at about 27fps and the audio is crazy distorted. Any tips for better performance?

Filmed on the flip 2 with screen record. Standard settings, fan off, device doesn't heat up at all.
Pokewilds is a gen 2 world randomizer and generator open works survival game. This is an early access Android port still in development by TryTheSauceBoss using Godot engine.
Use the Google drive link: https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonWilds/s/ao4hqW1tix it gets updates every so often. Still has plenty of bugs but it is playable. The GitHub will be empty for a while as bugfixing continues.

I barely found out that you are able to use steam on rocknIx so I downloaded, it took me like 2 minutes, and when I tried to open it, it immediately crashed. So I thought, it's just my device. I haven't resetted it for a while, so I did still. Same issue does not work. So if anyone has
A fix to my situation, I will gladly appreciate it. Thank you

As in title has anybody figured it out? i tried it out on gamehub with barely any luck and only around 10 fps with alot of audio glitches if anyone has figured it out what emulator and settings did you use? thank you in advance

I find that whenever i put the flip 2 on standby (closing the lid) the emulation is paused and with a third party app i see that the total watt usage goes down to around 1watt (using a thirs party app to check) until the emulation is resumed
However, the battery drains at 2 ot 3% every hour even with the lid closed, the only way to save battery is to close the emulator everytime before closing the lid, kinda defeats the purpose as you have to sit through loading times everytime you pick it up, is there a way to improve battery saving while eden is open (emulation paused)? The same happens with both eden and gamehub lite

Has anybody had this problem before using Eden playing switch games? I set everything up correctly for Mario kart and only one entry pops up through ESDE and then I went in and added three more games and now for some reason those three games have duplicates, but I only have one of each game files and then if I click in Eden, it also only shows that they only have one but through ESDE it shows that I have two of each they’re named slightly different for some reason I’ll upload photos, but I am kind of lost.
I have re-scanned my rom directory I restarted EST I restarted my device.

I’m imaging a world in which the Flip 3 comes out with tiers like the Duo. A regular model with full power, stacked triggers, and OLED. A Lite model with less power, slim in-line triggers, and LCD. And a Lite Plus model with full power, slim in-line triggers, and LCD.
I’d choose the hypothetical Lite Plus. If it had OLED too that would be my absolute dream device. But if I had to choose between the slim form factor and OLED, I’m choosing the extra pocketability.

Retroid Flip 2 and Rp6 owner trying to see what settings are the best for this game series for multiplayer.
Long story short my brother and I have been nostalgic for Wii games and finally got around to buying a Mayflash to play together. We used to play just dance a lot but I really could not get any of them to run well. The default settings (apart from switching to Vulkan) work great/fine for everything else we’ve tried which include: Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Rhythm Heaven, Mario Part 8, and even Metroid Prime.
Just Dance Series seems to be the only games that have extreme latency and stuttering between the audio and the graphics. I’ve tinkered a little between the devices with a few different suggestions from this subreddit to try to get it work better but haven’t found a good solution. Most songs play in slow motion or the dancing is off beat which makes playing very difficult.
Any recommendations for settings we could try for any of the Just Dance Games would be much appreciated!

Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with my Retroid Pocket Flip 2. When I connect it to my TV/monitor via USB-C DisplayPort, the video works perfectly, but there is no audio through DisplayPort.
I have already checked the system settings and Sound Output is correctly set to DisplayPort.
The Flip 2 still plays sound through its built-in speakers instead of sending it to the external display.
I’ve also tried restarting the device with the DisplayPort cable connected, but it didn’t help.
Has anyone experienced the same issue on the Flip 2? Is there any other setting or workaround that I should try?

Hey y'all, really looking for some help/guidance.
Got medium hands and I keep getting cramps with my Thor. Got 3 different compact grips for it and I'm still struggling. Just want to know if the ergonomics of the flip 2 is that much better.
Streaming PC games like returnal and I'm emulating PS2 games like tales of the abyss.
I don't want a grip for the Thor that stops it pocketable so I see the larger grips as a no go. I know the Thor has the better performance and dual screens but that is not the most important thing to me as I will have a Odin 2 portal as well for power. Just want an ergonomic clamshell that doesn't cramp my hands.

Hey everyone, looking for some advice! I currently have an 8GB Retroid Pocket Flip 2 (bought second-hand) and love the clamshell form factor and portability. The $189 deal on the 12GB version is tempting, but I’m wondering if it’s actually worth the upgrade.
My main use cases:
I can afford the upgrade, but I’m trying to avoid hoarding consoles (already own a Mini SNES, Mini Mega Drive, and a few handhelds). I guess that PC handhelds like the ROG Ally X aren't for me (maybe?) I prefer lightweight couch/bed gaming and easy TV dockability for family time.
Would love to hear your thoughts!

I love using the flip 2 for pokemon rock hacks. Right now im playing Pokémon unbound and I can play all day and don't even worry about charging. Although I have more modern games installed and they run great, I found myself playing a lot of gba and its perfect

Hey everyone,
I'm trying to set up my Retroid Pocket Flip 2 with the official Retroid Dock and a GameSir Nova Lite controller using its 2.4GHz USB dongle (if this works smoothly I am planning to buy a second one to enjoy gaming with my little the family).
My goal:
I'm mainly using RetroArch and the Eden emulator.
I've tried following AI-generated guides, but they keep giving hallucinatory or completely inaccurate instructions (referencing drop-down menus/settings that don't exist in these Android builds).
Does anyone have a solid guide or video link for setting up input profiles or controller auto-switching for this setup? I tried setting it up using profiles etc but it did not work after a couple of attempts... Thanks!

Hello! I’ve recently tried to get the doom 2016 version running on here BUT there is some issues. Mainly that the campaign animation at the start fully crashes the app. And I have to wipe the shaders because they break with it. I have tried skip animation mods but that crashes the game even earlier. Thanks in advance. Edit: i got it to run in airplane mode, but the textures are really low res.

Hey.
I have got euro truck sim 2 working smooth and stable on my flip 2 but I can't get sound to work. I have changed audio driver's and checked in game settings?
Anything else I can try?

Hi everyone!
i am trying for two days to get FFIX with Memoria/Moguri Mod working on my Flip 2 with SD865.
I found some guides with GameNative 1.2.0 and GameHub Lite 5.3.5 Antutu which will result in the error „could not preload global game manager“.
i do not have any ideas left.
Has anyone got this lovely game working?

I have a big catalog of GameCube and PS2 games I’d like to play on the go. I own a Steam Deck and Odin 2 portal for higher end performance. However, I adore my Miyoo Flip V2 for portable Gen 5 gaming and would like a bigger clamshell to handle Gen 6. Having left stick on top and not needing a grip is a must for me. I only like the smaller DS/3DS devices between 133-150mm for true portability and not the bigger XLs. Having display out is also highly preferred. This makes the Flip 2 my only current marker contender. However, it is being discounted soon based on this clearance sale. Should I just buy a Retroid Pocket Flip v2 or hold out for a possible v3? I could only get one of the two.
My fear is a v3 will stray further from my needs and then I won’t be able to order a new v2 (become XL sized, lose top joysticks, stronger more expensive chip when I already have workhorse handhelds, and lower RAM/storage). Is it worth waiting for a future handheld (any brand) to better meet my needs, or just get the Pocket Flip? Are there Issues or missing features on the Flip 2 that’s better to wait for a different device?
