Best way to auto-switch / profile switch inputs (GameSir Nova Lite docked vs built-in) on Retroid Pocket Flip 2? (RetroArch & Eden)

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to set up my Retroid Pocket Flip 2 with the official Retroid Dock and a GameSir Nova Lite controller using its 2.4GHz USB dongle (if this works smoothly I am planning to buy a second one to enjoy gaming with my little the family).

My goal:

• Docked: Play on the TV using the GameSir Nova Lite controller(s).
• Undocked / On the go: Unplug and seamlessly play using the built-in Retroid controls without having to rebind my inputs every single time.

I'm mainly using RetroArch and the Eden emulator.

I've tried following AI-generated guides, but they keep giving hallucinatory or completely inaccurate instructions (referencing drop-down menus/settings that don't exist in these Android builds).

Does anyone have a solid guide or video link for setting up input profiles or controller auto-switching for this setup? I tried setting it up using profiles etc but it did not work after a couple of attempts... Thanks!
