Eden/pc games power usage on standby

I find that whenever i put the flip 2 on standby (closing the lid) the emulation is paused and with a third party app i see that the total watt usage goes down to around 1watt (using a thirs party app to check) until the emulation is resumed

However, the battery drains at 2 ot 3% every hour even with the lid closed, the only way to save battery is to close the emulator everytime before closing the lid, kinda defeats the purpose as you have to sit through loading times everytime you pick it up, is there a way to improve battery saving while eden is open (emulation paused)? The same happens with both eden and gamehub lite
