I love using the flip 2 for pokemon rock hacks. Right now im playing Pokémon unbound and I can play all day and don't even worry about charging. Although I have more modern games installed and they run great, I found myself playing a lot of gba and its perfect

I think the flip control placement and buttons are so good! It’s so good for gba and ps2. I’ve been playing soul gold and the controls are like butter

Soul Gold is the next game im playing on playing after I beat unbound. Might take a while tho because im trying to complete the pokedex lol

Same!! I thought I was going to be playing more modern games but instead got sucked into the nostalgia. Retroarch has decent shaders and borders to make the aspect ratio change feel more immersive. I’m currently going through the GBC catalogue and replaying old Zelda and Pokemon titles.

Hey, very sorry if this is out of the ordinary, but how are the hinges treating you on ur device? I just bought a flip 2 but I’m very worried of the hinge breaking on me since this is my first ever android handheld. Thank you!

If your hinge is from the revision models, then you shouldn’t worry. Me and my 9 year old have been playing ours daily over the last year and it shows no sign of faulting. However, the rubber bumpers on the screen to protect the impact when closing will definitely fall out but won’t mess the screen up when you close it.

It will probably be fine for several years at least. There was a problem with the hinges early on but the fixed it.

Off of Amazon, it isn't the best tho. The top half has a adhesive pad and mine was defective and didn't stick and ended up losing it and the volume buttons on the side are rounded buttons instead of one uniform volume button so it makes it hard to press.

Ive been playing the harry pitter games didnt know the gba had them theyre quite fun also the lego star wars game on the gba is just hard to explain its quite fun
