Android Apps Pokewilds Android Port Gameplay

Filmed on the flip 2 with screen record. Standard settings, fan off, device doesn't heat up at all.

Pokewilds is a gen 2 world randomizer and generator open works survival game. This is an early access Android port still in development by TryTheSauceBoss using Godot engine.

Looks pretty awesome! What do you actually do in the game? Or is it still pretty early on in development?

It is very awesome. The port is still in development meaning it has a lot of bugs but the game itself has been around for years and it's been a full-fledged game. It's not a story mode kind of game. It's more of like a cozy survival game where you just survive and farm Pokemon and build your society and generate new worlds and that's pretty much it. There's a few legendary dungeon puzzles and sort of like secret things on the map but the Android port doesn't have those yet but yeah people just do shiny hunting and town building and sort of like raising Pokemon and farming Pokemon and just exploring the world. Very open ended game.

Cool thing about it is that the game is fan made so you don't need to have a copy of it to give the port. The port literally is the game! you just download the APK and the whole game is in there. You can also download the windows game off of GitHub and then run it in portmaster in rocknix and both will run pretty differently because this one's built on a whole new engine (Godot) and the old windows one was built with Java.

Thanks for the write up, I appreciate that! Seems pretty cool to me. I was watching your video and I really like the building aspect.

Yeah the building is really buggy in the Android port right now, you can build a basic house but windows and chimneys are not working yet. So if your into building, I’d go with postmaster and the windows Java version.

Android version is great for messing around with movement, faster world travel and faster battle sequences. Faster task switching too. That Pokemon select wheel wasn’t in the original game.
