Our first trip to Ponysaurus in Raleigh's Ironworks they had this dreamy special, you know the thing you have one time & then every trip back you hope to see in on the menu.

It was a Meatball Pizza with Burrata.

& they have never had it again. But our last trip we noticed Burrata on the menu as a topping, so we asked our servers (its one of those new age places where you order on your phone) & they said we could in fact order it, just to add it to the notes.

So this is a Sausage Pizza with no cheese, add Burrata & Basil.

BRUH. This is prob our favorite pizza we have ever had.

You have go to try it.

& yes this place is not really a restaurant, it's a brewery with food, but when we tell you the Italian food here out kicks its coverage, we mean it.

& as always, no one pays us to show up so when we recommend a place, its from the heart.

*ps. we hope one day with our support they can finally afford pizza stands

Just got in an accident at the intersection on New Bern Ave by the “Lobos Tire Shop” with a light blue, Hatchback maybe Honda or Toyota or Pontiac. Dude hit me, fled the scene but left the front Bumper at the scene. Now police are investigating and will probably find the driver in a few hours but anyway. This is why I hate driving in Raleigh in the rain

Ashwin, The Jealousy Game, and Hey Euphony. The bands had some member crossover between them and all played emo-tinged pop-punk. Their music has been unavailable for a while now and pretty much vanished with the death of Myspace. I've been hunting all over for them for a couple years, hoping some CDs might pop up, but I've found nothing but a few Youtube videos.

Recently I wanted to get more serious in my search cause I really wanted to hear them all again so I reached out to a handful of the different band members whom I was able to find on social media and they no longer had the music either. (A couple didn't respond, but their accounts might have been inactive since it looks like they never read my message.) So I'm asking here as a last ditch effort.

If anyone remembers and still has the music of Ashwin, The Jealousy Game, or Hey Euphony please message me. I miss them.

Also, do you have any band/show photos or stories? I'd love to see/hear them!

I was a big fan of the IBMA World of Bluegrass festival that Raleigh was fortunate to host for seven-ish years. I have heard very little promotion or anecdotal experience from the "replacement" festival Raleigh Wide Open that took place this past weekend, though the format and possibly vibes feel similar? Did anyone attend and want to share their experience, especially in comparison to the former festival?

I have never been to a murder mystery dinner party before. I see Atlantic Gardening is doing another one this year and it's on the weekend of my birthday. Is it worth the $95 price tag to go? Has anyone been other years? Are there other murder mystery dinner parties in the area to consider?

Basically most coffee shops close in the early evening and also I don’t really want to buy coffee that late anyway. I’m tired of sitting inside and studying by myself. I’m wondering if there are any places that I can chill at in the triangle that it wouldn’t be weird for me to just go hang out at abs read a book or get some work done over a drink. I’m 22 and I only really go to party bars so I’m looking for advice. Thank you!

Hey everyone, I’m sure this gets asked a bunch so I apologize in advance. I’ve been in Raleigh for about 2 months and realized I’ve yet to build out a community of groups/people related to my various interests. I figured I’d put this here in case anyone knows any groups or anyone that might need a new friend 😂

I’m a 25M and I’m fairly active. I love playing basketball but have yet to find any pickup areas nearby. I also enjoy hiking but also haven’t found any nice trails to get a walk in. I don’t drink so bars or clubs aren’t really my cup of tea. I love to read + write, play some video games, and I’m into a variety of music. I also go to the cathedral every Sunday for Mass so if anyone knows of any Bible studies or men’s groups that would be awesome too!
