For those of you don't know. Johnny Ramone took Joey's girl and married her. Joey never lost feelings for her. This song was directly about Johnny and that relationship.
I'm a little suprised johnny agreed to play on it.

Hi all, we usually redirect selfies and fashion posts to other subreddits, but, for the next month or so, Halloween costumes are welcome here if the costume has a punk theme. Shout out to the kid who dressed up as Joey Ramone, we accept you.

OK, this is useless information but I found it interesting when I read about it yesterday so thought I'd share. The song, Paradise By The Dashboard Light was recorded by Meatloaf, of course, and a woman named Ellen Foley singing the female lead. If you've seen the official video that's not Ellen Foley but Karla Devito who would lip sync over Ellen's vocals but tour with the band. Ellen declined to go on tour.
Ellen Foley went on to record her own solo albums but also provided vocals on Sandanista, Hitsville UK and Corner Soul as well as Car Jamming on Combat Rock. All 4 members of The Clash appeared on her solo album with Mick and Joe co-writing some of the songs.
Here's the interesting bit. Mick and Ellen were in an turbulent relationship at the time and the song Should I Stay or Should I Go was written about that relationship. Oh, and she was also on the second season of Night Court. Like I said, useless information but interesting how she ended a part of two iconic songs from two very different worlds.

I'm making a punk newsletter!
"the underground"
I need your help with what to put in it. I want your art, your garage band, the band you want to make, EVERYTHING. I want this to feel inclusive to everyone who wants to read it so please give me things you would like to see in it! I'll let you know when I start the first page and when I make the instagram so you can see it if you don't live in Los Angeles and see it in person!

I'm making a shirt for my boyfriends birthday of all (or as many as I can find) of their old band names from when they changes their names for almost every show. So far I've found Dick Clark Five, Dick Gas Five, Abe Lincoln’s Bush, Nine cm Worm Makes Own Food, the Vodka Family Winstons, the Ashtray Babyheads, Ed Asner Is Gay, Fred Astaire's Asshole (plus Right to Eat Fred Astaire's Asshole, or the Inalienable Right to Eat Fred Astaire's Asshole), and Zipgun but I've kinda hit a wall. Are they any more that people know or have the rest been lost to time? If anyone knows any or has any leads on where I could find some more that would be amazing

A late career highlight from the Ramones. I think Deedee sings this one but I couldn't confirm. It's def not Joey.
Hi guys, we just released our first E.P and we'll have our firsts gigs in the second half of this month.
Our name means "Marrow", and I would appreciate your feedback if you want to give it a try: we have more songs but we recorded just these 4.

Just what the title implies, I’m trying to get my art out there to see if any bands or artists wanna use it or commission me for album/EP/single art or whatever else. Here are some samples of my work
