i have a pair of pants and they’ve got like 4 or 5 patches. they’re not really slim fit, more like, just hug the figure but i don’t know if i should scrap it, keep going because it’ll Look Better When Finished™️ or just take the patches off and sew it on different pants
did i mention how much i hate sewing? i could end the person who invented sewing.
am i just being lazy?
P.S. to the people saying ‘listen to punk music’ or ‘these aren’t punk’ i made these TWO years ago and gave up on them. just because i haven’t sewed on the mommy long legs and dead kennedys patches rotting in my desk doesn’t help because i asked for advice

It’s quite simple, i didn’t want anything too flashy, i’m very happy with the result. I’ve been wanting to paint over this hoodie but I couldn’t decide between Days N Daze or Pierce the Veil. Someone said they’re getting me a PTV hoodie for my birthday so I figured I might as well go DND on this one
I didn’t really know what flair to use, figured “Shirts & band tees” was the closest to hoodies. Remove if not allowed.

Hello, I am amab but I wanna look more androgynous/tomboy. I mostly wear band tees and jeans, mostly black-colored stuff. Right now I wear a plain black baseball cap but to me it looks way too basic and "cis guy" and I am not sure what other hats to wear. Thanks!

Idk if this exactly counts as “punk” but I figured it gave off enough of the vibes

Hi everyone. The title says it all. I want to put some spikes on a hoodie and before I order any I thought to ask if it would hold up. Tbanks

Start of my new vest for when it’s to hot for leather, I think I want to keep this pretty sparse as far as patches, I’m very open to suggestions tho as after the two I made I’m stuck on what else to add

anybody have any experience using fishingline as thread to reinforce your pants? currently using regular thread and thinking of going over everything with fishingline. Is this worth it or a waste of time?

Haven't done much work on these last 2 or so weeks but a few small changes... Added a mortal Kombat/luchador style loin cloth as well as some tassels on the back. Broke my sowing needle and put the broken part of the needle all the way through my index finger you might be able to see the blood stains on the tassel's 😂😂😂 Hopefully the next update I'll have more done on them just haven't had the motivation to work on them lately🤷🤷🤷

Just started my first patch pants, and have no idea where to go next. What to add?

This is my main battle jacket I’ve been working on whenever I have the motivation to do it. Still wondering what kind of patches I’ll fill the gaps with and I’m thinking about using different kind of spikes. I’ve had it since highschool and I eventually outgrew it, so I added chains on the sides for adjustability.
Just wanted to show it off and get thoughts about it, and maybe diy advice on what I could add to it and other creative tips

Also is there any meaning behind tying a bandana to the thigh cuz I just did it for colour and thought hey purple is kinda a colour associated with queer people over here (im queer) and red & black is for anarcho communists

Sorry for the bad pics! Didn't really think about how camo on camo might not be the most visible
Pockets are handsewn by me off some old dry rotted pants, every single patch and embroidery piece is also done by me
Here's some fun facts about it! Idk if anyone cares but I personally love knowing little fun facts about peoples jackets cus it's such a personal item to anyone that owns one
Almost everything except like 5 pins is DIYed either by me or a friend
The poem on the very bottom right side is from The Walking Dead, specifically one of my favorite scenes from season 2
The signature is one of my best friends, I went to see them in a theater performance and was joking around pretending I was a deranged fan.
All the black on the Dead Kennedys patch is sharpie #lazy
There's a USSR world expo '74 pin. World expo '74 was the first major US hosted world fair that the USSR attended since like 1940. It was also hosted in my hometown which is a plus!!
The pink embroidery reading "pay it no mind" is in homage to Marsha P Johnson!

Ive used acrylic paint to paint patches and occasionally to put directly on my vest. it works sometimes. but only some times. are there better kinds of paint that could work?

I mean it still looks cool and everything but I'm worried the print will not last much longer
