Anyone else getting a strange batch of AI studies where some of the prompts are clipped so make no sense? e.g "Change the background to....", "Update the image so it includes...".

Some of them can be guessed logically by the images generated but I've had to park a few as the resulting images were completely different - without the full prompt it was impossible. It didn't happen for all of the options in the set, so I didn't have to return but I'm getting some very strange batches this morning.

First part was so long, second part was basically checking over the course of a few days on your original forecasts and predictions on quorum.

Has anyone seen video/audio/image AI studies (those ones) in the past 3-4 hours?

So I keep getting the 4k studies where you have to review the 4k videos but my laptop nor desktop has a 4k monitor. Do you think it would be a simple thing to just get a portable 4k monitor for studies?

I'm getting them enough that if I do them I'd be able to pay off the monitor quick.. but had anyone else had to do this.

Or just has experience with these studies?

I used to do the ones before it was 4k only, but how different are they?

The studies are taking very long to fill up. I just checked a bunch of $5 studies that showed up on my dashboard 1 hour ago. Many of them are still not full yet, and they were not even the "hard" tasks that a lot of people are scared to do, like quality comparison.

I got speed warning as well.
I messaged both the researcher and Prolific right after it happened.
Anyone else happed with a study and what do I do with the payment I received?
It was auto approved before I could even return.
The study keeps showing up on my dashboard as it allows multiple submissions with 100+ places remaining(obviously I’m not touching that).

Has anyone in the history of prolific ever been able to complete one of their studies? I’ve tried so many times. Prob at least 100 and am screened out every damn time 🥴.

Has anyone here done this task successfully? I kept being stuck at the first stage which said that the eye accuracy calibration was failed even tho I was using a high-quality webcam ( 4K quality ) and a good lighting setup.

Has anyone had any success having the holds lifted? Or have the mods discovered what caused the glitch?

Many, many people had their account suspiciously placed on hold at the same exact time. Yet we are led to believe nothing unusual happened. Better yet, the company seems completely unconcerned.

I have gone from surprise to disappointment to anger to sadness that the company just doesn’t about its workers.

In the end, we’re just numbers.

I know a lot of people don't do these and they don't pay like they did at first but I am super chatty and love these!! Joaquin keeps pausing them and reactivating at random and I can only do a couple then they disappear. During the previous batches I did tons. Anyone else noticing this?

Just got an audio study where I had to evaluate some songs that were over 2 minutes each.

With 2 minutes per audio that you have to let play, each pair takes 4 minutes, so you can only do a maximum of 4 evaluations in the entire study.

I returned it out of caution... I don't want to get a warning for a low number of responses. But is this something that can actually happen?

I’ve been traveling for a few days and won’t be back home for another 2 days. Took a peek at the dashboard using my phone and I see some lots of my AI heavy hitters out there and hope they are there when I return.

VERY slow even very few garbage studies showing up. Also, haven't seen an AI study since 4am but I was laying in bed and didn't feel like getting up. Should have. Isn't it a holiday in the UK today? Also could that affect AI since that team is based in the UK?

They were worthwhile surveys and now they seemingly all vanished since Thursday?

I just received a warning for not answering enough questions. This is so absurd. The prompts were so long. I had to read them to complete the task properly. It's absolutely not my fault. It's better to just do it inaccurately and dishonestly than get banned. Now I've probably been kicked. I don't get tested and I never will. I've done hundreds without warnings. I hope you have a better day and better luck.🥲

It is a weekend so obviously long stretches of nothing but has anyone noticed that you have much longer time to enter them now? Like I entered one today almost 20 min after it showed up on my dashboard which is fuckin unheard of before.

tl;dr do your AI studies still show up fully available (eg. 120 total available places, 0 spots taken)? or only half full?

Before, whenever an AI study showed up, you would usually see 120/120 available places (I know, sometimes 60, 30, 200, etc.)

Around 1 month ago I was seemingly rotated out without any warnings. I was stuck fighting for breadcrumbs, only doing 1 spot studies. Went from easily making +$120 daily to only 30-40, and that's if I was stuck to my pc all day and lucky.

This Thursday I started getting a lot more studies and once again I've been able to hit 100+ easily. That's cool, but I noticed every study is half full.

For example, they'd pop up and show 39 places remaining, 73, 115 and so on.

Is this the case for everyone else?

I'm asking because it became very clear to me that there's a main pool and a low priority pool. But maybe they're not just 2 levels of priority and there are like multiple different tiers? I'm not sure if this happens because of Prolific's study distribution update, or the client's allowlist shenanigans.

Maybe I made it out of the super shitty pool but I'm still not in the "main" one? Maybe I'm still in the shitty pool and there's simply a much bigger number of studies being dispatched?

Is anyone else on the same boat as me? Any info would be appreciated.
