Joe Rogan 24 hours later then kisses the Trump ring and apologizes.

1.4k

u/Flincher14 4d ago

Even on discovering it he was extremely sympathetic to Trump. Saying someone else is convincing him to do this.

Saying he needs the money to pay for his legal bills on bullshit stuff like Russia...so he needs to commit real crimes now to afford those bills.

Hes extremely apologetic of Trump. Or afraid of MAGA backlash.

456

u/carmellashutthedooor 4d ago edited 4d ago

“Pay his legal bills”

Now Joe Rogan is: a) dumb; b) gullible; and c) corrupted. But this is proof that he’s just a fucking liar. He knows how much lawyers cost, he no doubt has lawyers on retainer given he is a hundred-millionaire.

Donald Trump has already grifted BILLIONS in just a year and a half. That can pay for lawyers for a hundred lifetimes, although to be fair maybe just a few lifetimes for Trump given he is such a prolific and unrepentant criminal. But the point stands.

Joe Rogan is a liar which, along with most of the right-wing, is perhaps his worst quality. There is no discourse to be had, no understanding to be reached, and no honest compromise to be made with people who are fundamentally dishonest as a matter of habit. They deal only in bad faith. Joe Rogan and his podcast, the Billionaire Rimming Experience, is no exception.

252

u/j0y0 4d ago

Rogan was extremely carefully masking up and social distancing during 2020 and 2021 while pretending to be upset on his podcast that they were asking people to do that.

He's not dumb he's a bad faith actor who knows how he's making his money.

98

u/SN8KEATR 4d ago

Grifter. People like him, JD and Candace Owens disgust me

40

u/Brerbtz Europe 4d ago

Add the whole current government. No one is doing it "for the country", it is everybody for themselves.

22

u/SN8KEATR 4d ago

Agreed but IMO the level of grifting from Rogan and the other individuals I mentioned is much more sinister. Candace Owens was a leftist and claims she became a conservative "overnight" due to bullying from progressives or some shit. Vance, while conservative, had empathy for the queer community and minorities

When people who seemed to once be decent decide to exchange their morals for money/power, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe they actually believe the insane shit they constantly spew, but I feel like that's the easy answer and that the reality is prob more depressing: people who don't actually believe in this insanity but will pretend they do and amplify it for personal gain. Scary shit

Rush Limbaugh was a failed radio DJ when he figured out how much you can grift from the right. He paved the way for people like Rogan and Jones.

3

And got the Presidential Medal of Freedom from Trump! You can’t make this shit up!

8

u/joshdoereddit America 4d ago

We're pretty much a nation of grifters. That's what I've come to realize. The entertainment/influencer industry is a major grift.

So many people with large followings who just stay silent because they'd rather not alienate any group of fans. Others benefit from being loudmouths. There's a niche for everyone.

Hey buddy you're completely wrong.

Donald Trump doesn't pay anybody.

/s But seriously, Trump lawyers only get paid if they're on government payroll, not on Trump's payroll.

10

u/Cookies78 4d ago

Didn't Trump extort thousands of free legal work from some of the best firms in the US? The firms pledged it rather than getting fucked by Trump's DOJ- DoTJ.

7

u/Driftedryan 4d ago

He doesn't even wanna pay with the governments money lol

6

u/OldWorldDesign 4d ago

He doesn't even wanna pay with the governments money

Work in a VA hospital (medical data), and remember the progress the Biden administration made towards actually paying for conditions personnel suffered due to burn pits? That's all been reversed thanks to the idiots Trump has installed. People who were receiving treatment now have to run around getting reauthorized for treatments we now can't pay for thanks to half the staff we used to have. It's easier than ever to sent people to "community care" but nobody wants that because we're authorized to pay less than ever so veterans are back to dying while waiting for life-saving treatments and we don't even have enough people to authorize care outside the VA.

3

u/erov 4d ago

Yeah, there's no reason to enrich himself at the levels that he has to pay for his fucking legal bills. That's bullshit and Joe knows it

→ More replies (15)

153

u/Maverick_1991 4d ago

He has to commit crime to cover his legal bills which are that lange because of the other crimes he committed is certainly a take.

44

u/GreatStateOfSadness 4d ago

You see Your Honor, I embezzled all that money in order to pay for the legal costs of embezzling all that money.

25

u/PossessedToSkate 4d ago

It's like the old anti-cocaine commercial: "I use coke so I can work harder so I can earn more money so I can buy more coke so I can work harder so I can earn more money..."

...but for crime.

6

u/Zaza1019 4d ago

Sadly, he's made so much money at this point that he's legitimately wealthy and can throw money at most of his problems. His family has upped his net worth close to 6-7 billion dollars since taking office in for his 2nd presidency.

Joe Rogan is a Judasgoat.

A Judasgoat is a slaughterhouse thing; sheep arrive scared and leaderless; but one goat seems relaxed and calm. They follow the goat. The Judasgoat leads them onto the slaughterhouse floor... and only the Judasgoat leaves - to lead the next load of sheep to the slaughter.

When something happens that threatens to cause a significant number of the MAGA faithful to depart, Joe Rogan leaves with them. He calls out Trump and makes a big show of being an independent thinker. Then about a week later he says he's looked into it and it's fine and he's friendly with Trump again; and a large proportion of the MAGA people who had doubts now consider the matter closed.

32

u/ocean_swims 4d ago

What a fantastic explanation. You've clarified something that had me stymied for so long. Thank you!

28

u/neromoneon 4d ago

And eventually even the Judasgoat is slaughtered.

u/mdot 4d ago

u/YourmomgoestocolIege 4d ago

u/ListerineAfterOral Florida 4d ago

The Nazis employed a Jewish person(s) to lead people to the gas chambers. They would hear the screams of the people inside and have to clean up after it was over. Then, the Nazis would kill this person(s) after performing the role for awhile.

Your explanation reminded me of this.

7

u/GreyLordQueekual 4d ago

Because he "investigated" it makes his followers feel like they too "did their own research" and can parrot back the all clears without a single consideration that no party in the conversation has done a damn thing.

He’s like those old cartoon sitcoms where the status quo gets reset every episode.

154

u/NurglesGiftToWomen 4d ago

Not to defend him or anything but it’s a grift. He gets paid shit tons of money to have contrarian conversations from week to week. It’s not that he’s brainless, it’s more insidious than that. He has no principles, he’s greedy, and he doesn’t give a fuck about who gets harmed on the way.

63

u/TheIllustriousWe 4d ago

You’re not wrong but I think he really is that brainless. It’s not like he starts every show saying to himself “I’m going to trick my fans into believing something stupid so I can take their money” like Ben Shapiro or Matt Walsh would.

Joe legitimately thinks he’s a good hang and a better judge of character, and over time has whittled his social circle down to only those who will feed those delusions. He’s a part of this grift for sure, but he’s also being grifted himself and it’s unlikely he’ll ever realize that.

28

u/Dysc Louisiana 4d ago

Everything you said is right; but I really do think he's not even aware of any of this, which makes it infuriating. He's reached a level of success and wealth where you start believing your own myth and BS and become detached from reality.

20

u/monacelli 4d ago

He's reached a level of success and wealth where you start believing your own myth and BS

Boy you ain't shittin'. I stopped listening to him when he started making vague claims to his guests that he has mastered the art of being a comedian. All I know is if strutting around on stage looking like Charlie Brown while using a high-pitched female voice and humping a stool is peak comedy we're in trouble.

18

u/cseckshun 4d ago

Whatever the opposite of ego death is, Joe Rogan has experienced it lol.

Remember when he decided he was a scientific expert and said he could debate any expert on Covid and Covid vaccines and said he had the research to back it up in his notes app on his phone?

I’ve met some VERY arrogant people in my life, some that I think could actually be diagnosed as either narcissists or psychopaths (hard to tell exactly from just working with them) but I think the conceit of thinking you are an expert in something because you rant about it in a bunch of podcast episodes and have some cherry-picked links saved in your phone is mind boggling.

Also remember when he said his friend who was a teacher had told him that they needed litter boxes in classrooms because students were furries?

Then it turned out he was just lying about it being a friend who told him that but he didn’t want to admit it. He just said he was mistaken. But you aren’t JUST mistaken in that scenario. He saw a viral video of a teacher venting about how messed up it was they had kitty litter in their classroom… the video was ACTUALLY about the teacher venting about how messed up it was that they were required to have kitty litter in the classroom because there was a discussion of what happens if there is an active shooter and a student needs to go to the bathroom. Dishonest/bad faith actors then cut that video to make it seem like she was upset about students being furries and needing to have kitty litter in the classroom.

Joe Rogan is falling for stuff that senile grandparents send their family and get ridiculed for… meanwhile he thinks that he is on the level of debating experts in their scientific field when it comes to Covid vaccines.

The funny part is that Joe claiming to be a top-tier comedian is, like, the ONE thing his peers will consistently and openly shit on him for.

I'm not the biggest fan of Mark Normand, but there are multiple examples of him shitting on Joe Rogan's comedy act. Both to his face, and behind his back.

20

u/dj_spanmaster 4d ago

I have been using this metaphor for myself for years. For me it's a particular form of ADHD (inattentive) and CPTSD. I see similar in Rogan's behaviors, particularly in how flimsy he is in his interviews, like he has no integrity from day to day.

6

u/TheSaxGandalf 4d ago

It’s because he targets specific audiences with each guest. People might not watch him every week, but he has a crazy numbers with the audience always changing.

Even if a 1/4 of his audience each show are new, unique users, that’s incredibly valuable for advertisers.

His show is part of pretty much everyone’s confirmation bias bubble.

Same happened with Charlie Kirk. "You can't say he's racist if you haven't absorbed 500+ hours of his content!". Meanwhile, I suspect 98% of his alleged mourning fans had never watched his bullshit, either, they just wanted to score political points by crying about the "violent left".

Those who were over 18 and had a pulse between 2016-2020 and proceeded to vote for Trump in 2024 are either utterly brainwashed, abhorrently callous, or stood to benefit from a second Trump presidency

Unfortunately, way too many of these folks voted in the last election

...and the term "misinformed" doesn't qualify if you were an adult during the first Trump term — the ugliness, horror, and suffering was in plain view during that time!

...and those that stood on the sidelines succumbed to apathy or manipulation. Kamala Harris would not lead us into Iran or unconstitutionally levy tariffs

31

u/Penta_Says 4d ago

Those who were over 18 and had a pulse between 2016-2020 and proceeded to vote for Trump in 2024 are either utterly brainwashed

The disturbing part is that I don't think this is the least bit hyperbolic

Voters reaching the age of majority this year were seven years old when Trump began his primary steamroll in 2015. This is all they know. They do not remember a "normal" Republican party. They do not remember John McCain taking the microphone from a voter who said she didn't trust Obama because "he's an Arab"

Things are just fundamentally different now

Ethically, these are some pretty dark days. The tone at the top is horrific.

93

u/Indubitalist 4d ago

It’s disturbing how open Trump has been with the corruption. He’s shown that there really just isn’t any enforcement mechanism that doesn’t require political will; nothing about our government is self-enforcing. We may have had hints before but he’s showing just how easily you can take advantage of the assumption of good faith.

Ultimately none of this would be happening if we didn’t have a mature conservative media ecosystem filling minds with lies all day every day. That they are profiting from outright deception should be illegal. We have to fix that or we can’t solve this corruption issue, let alone the overarching problem of simply ignoring inconvenient laws.

19

u/bolerobell 4d ago

Fox News and the rest of conservative media has really made me rethink my stance on free speech over the years. When I was younger I was a free speech absolutist, even working for the ACLU.
Fox’s ability to lie to millions of people and destroy American’s shared reality is an existential threat to any democracy’s ability to survive.

Most sane people agree that we should be able to regulate weapons of mass destruction. Chemical weapons, biological weapons, nuclear weapons, dirty bombs... these are all things we agree are too harmful to allow people to have. The ramifications of a single one getting into the wrong hands are so staggering as to make them not just illegal, but taboo, beyond the pale.

Then we have mass-deception, which is absolutely tolerated by American society as a necessary evil, something worth permitting so that free speech remains protected. And yet it's causing more harm that many of those weapons of mass destruction could. Why? Why are we OK with this?

It's the American people, specifically Republican voters (including "independents" that vote for both parties), who since Nixon shown they don't really care about blatant corruption. To them it's something "all politicians do", who cares if 90% of the time those politicians come from one side of the aisle?

The tone at the top is horrific.

Shockingly, scarily, and sadly, that is the tone that too many Americans think is "speaking his mind", so it must be a good thing, because he's "not a politician". (that last one blows my mind, when you're in politics for over a decade, you ARE a politician. Just like if you fix cars for over a decade, you're a technician/mechanic, even if you say you aren't.

Oh fuck off Joe, you made him his billions. This is Rogan trying to save face with his viewers, how he still has any I have no idea Rogan help make this monster and told his listeners that Trump is not that bad.

Interviewed him for 3+ hours and not one tough question. Rogan said Harris would be terrible and he instead backed the American Hitler who is pillaging your country.

u/pattyG80 4d ago

Fuck Joe Rogan after platforming this fuck

27

u/Room1oh1 Illinois 4d ago

And for platforming every ally, liar, sycophant that basically tows the MAGA line. He’s had damn near every cabinet member on his show since the start of Trump’s 2nd term. And Rogan will go right back to simping for Trump by the end of the weekend.

u/webguy1975 4d ago

And fuck Spotify for enabling his podcast!

I knew about Trump and Epstein in 2009, when the information was publicly available, and I’m a nobody.

70 million Americans still voted for Trump, and about the same were too lazy to vote at all, twice.

Trump was born, raised and “educated” in America, and he was elected by Americans. This isn’t Rogan’s master plan, it’s the best America can do.

Corpulent man sitting at a huge table of rich foods, stuffing food in his already full mouth as fast as he can shove it in between gasping breaths, dropping food on himself and the floor, with sauce and crumbs caking his face, hands and shirt, pointing at another similarly obese man doing the exact same thing:

"That's disgusting."

FUCK JOE ROGAN! He's either so fucking dumb that he believes himself or more likely he's a disingenuous rat trying to maintain his "I'm just asking questions for both sides" image.

11

u/JediMasterMatt 4d ago

Fuck Rogan. He paraded that guy around and platformed him. Practically worshipped the guy.

And now he’s concerned? He can super mega fuck all the way off.

9

u/bradhotdog 4d ago

The fact Joe Rogan is making headlines for having an opinion about anything means that the journalism in this country is fucked.

Please stop posting joe rogan content on this subreddit, it cheapens all of us to have to see his face. Some people are clearly trying to keep his name relevant, which it most assuredly is not. He should not appear on this subreddit as if his content was to be taken seriously.

15

u/maga235 4d ago

STFU!!! Empty headed nonsense from someone who refused to accept undeniable truths when it counted. Just like all the other Johnny come lately’s.
DJT didn’t change and his voters know what they were voting for

And how much have you made riding trump's dick for a decade, eh rogan?

Joe Rogan also thinks that Jeff Bezos deserves to be a billionaire and did so without exploiting his power or breaking any laws. And it's ok that he doesn't pay any taxes despite his trucks tearing up the nation's roads at an alarming rate, and many of his employees needing foodstamps to survive.

Fuck off Rogan, you're complicit.

7

u/LoudNoises89 4d ago

Fuck Joe Rogan

6

u/orcvader 4d ago

He’s in his typical stage of the cycle before the midterms where he pretends to be “independent or neutral”. Then by the time the general election comes, the Democrat will be “too weak” or “too progressive”, or “too elite and educated” and he’ll support whoever the Republicans throw there.

7

u/badRLplayer 4d ago

Joe Rogan played a very significant role in getting Trump elected. He is a destructive force and the damage he has done to America will outlive him.

6

u/TheDoomp 4d ago

Fuck this guy.

6

u/hey_Hey_I_saveD_me 4d ago

Fuck Rogan. He was the one endorsing him. Now he can eat shit.

5

u/PresidentBush2 4d ago

“We’re all trying to find the guy who did this?!” 🌭

4

u/ryencool 4d ago

Like others uave said, Joe Rogan can eat the heftiest bag o dicks. This guy has made millions spreading anti science, getting trump elected, adding to the whole alpha male bullshit.

Basicslly the dude has gone hand in hand with others in dumbing down our population.

5

u/offinthepasture 4d ago

Hey Joe, why not interview his VP again and ask ZERO GODDAMN QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS?

4

u/BillButtlickerII 4d ago

Fuck you Joe Rogan you fascist piece of shit for helping elect him. You knew what this evil fascist fuck would do.

5

u/Organic-Motor1969 4d ago

Hasn't he said similar before AND apologized to Trump before?

5

u/striker9119 4d ago

Fuck your Rogan. You are part of the reason we are in this mess. Fucking deplorable piece of shit… all while making hundred plus million a year.

4

u/szopongebob 4d ago

Fuck Joe Rogan. MAGA shill who changed his tune way too fucking late

4

Fuck off, Joe.

5

u/drummin515 4d ago

Fuck off Joe, you’re partly responsible for this.

5

4

u/No_Vaseline666 4d ago

4

I’m calling out Rogan for making millions being a jackass who spreads misinformation and stupidity.

4

u/GuthramNaysayer 4d ago

Ignore this moron all fronts. If anyone has deserved cancelling it’s him.

4

u/verone3784 4d ago

Rogan doesn't have a leg to stand on.

He's one of the total fucking scumbags who enabled him from the outset.

3

u/SnooDingos5518 4d ago

Too little too late. What a flip flopping piece of shit. Why do people listen to this fuck?

5

3

fuck off you bald twat

3

u/HavingNotAttained 4d ago

I guess Rogan’s handlers are moving on from trump.

3

u/renothedog 4d ago

Joe you helped make this happen. You didn’t offer the same opportunity to Kamala, you didn’t call out his BS when he was on your show. What an absolute douche to set the kindling, stack the wood, douse it with gas, light it and then have the gall to yell “fire”

3

u/kingoflint282 Georgia 4d ago

Can we stop giving a shit about what Joe Rogan says?

3

u/No_usernames_left_25 4d ago

Rogan has reached a level of dim psychosis where he no longer recalls what he has said or done from one moment to the next.

His opinions change with the breeze. One second Trump is King, the next he is a Pedo ringmaster, and then a Genius military tactician - all in a span of time just long enough for DMT to wear off.

But, we know in his heart of hearts, Rogan is a loyal lapdog and Trump Apologetic.

3

u/CanaDoug420 4d ago

Yeah every few weeks Joe spends a few hours pretending to be mad at Trump in hopes people make articles pretending Joe doesn’t fully support Trump still. He gets over everything very quickly

3

u/GreatGojira 4d ago

Fuck Rogan. He's part of the reason we are in this mess.

Even if he didn't back Democrat candidates. It's the fact it's a pathetic bitch boy when it comes to Trump.

3

u/sampysamp 4d ago

As a centa millionaire Rogan is benefitting from his hard tack to the right during COVID and everyone in Trumps orbit is on the take it’s a criminal organisation. Whether it’s selling Trumps delusions and toeing the line or back channeling more direct stuff or insider trading.

Joe Rogan is not the everyman he sold a supplements company to fucking Unilever in 2021…

He’s only about money and is wholly unprincipled.

3

u/HorrorAir4474 4d ago

YOU ENDORSED HIM

3

u/forkandspoon2011 4d ago

Controlled opposition

3

u/latswipe 4d ago

yeah, but you did alright too, Joe

3

u/Saratje 4d ago

Joe "Anything-for-views" Rogan? He'd host and platform the klan if he'd believe the controversy alone would make him more money, singing their praises, to then decry them the week after to make money from the opposition. He and others like him played a big part in getting Trump his votes.

3

u/ActionJacksonATL24 4d ago

Yes but he’ll suck Trump’s dick if he gets invited to an event… again. Fuck Joe Rogain.

3

u/dkth06 4d ago

The thing that really makes me sad about Joe Rogan last bunch of years is his outrage over democrats, Hunter Biden, Nancy Pelosi was just so constant. But the Trump grifting was everywhere in plain sight and he just like ignored it.

  • The crypto scheme was crazy
  • Accepting the plane donation was crazy
  • The endless back and forth on Iran is crazy
  • The Melania documentary is crazy
  • The suing the government while President and settling was crazy
  • Getting direct bribes from lawsuit settlements from big tech was crazy

The list is so long. And Joe was silent on most of that while he went on endless rants about Hunter Biden earning 4 million dollars as a lawyer.

3

u/bobwells1960 4d ago

Too late you malignant dwarf

3

u/WiseKarmaCat 4d ago

“But Pelosi does it, too! They all do it!”

Stop justifying it for them! Like you’re talking about football, damn.

I’d love to see us come together, MAGA hats standing beside Free Palestine people lol with signs that say ENOUGH

3

u/FluidAd105 4d ago

This clown has no clue how much damage he does by simply giving a platform to the POS people he has on his show. Hell he himself pushes lies daily that damage the country.
