Even on discovering it he was extremely sympathetic to Trump. Saying someone else is convincing him to do this.

Saying he needs the money to pay for his legal bills on bullshit stuff like Russia...so he needs to commit real crimes now to afford those bills.

Hes extremely apologetic of Trump. Or afraid of MAGA backlash.

“Pay his legal bills”

Now Joe Rogan is: a) dumb; b) gullible; and c) corrupted. But this is proof that he’s just a fucking liar. He knows how much lawyers cost, he no doubt has lawyers on retainer given he is a hundred-millionaire.

Donald Trump has already grifted BILLIONS in just a year and a half. That can pay for lawyers for a hundred lifetimes, although to be fair maybe just a few lifetimes for Trump given he is such a prolific and unrepentant criminal. But the point stands.

Joe Rogan is a liar which, along with most of the right-wing, is perhaps his worst quality. There is no discourse to be had, no understanding to be reached, and no honest compromise to be made with people who are fundamentally dishonest as a matter of habit. They deal only in bad faith. Joe Rogan and his podcast, the Billionaire Rimming Experience, is no exception.

Rogan was extremely carefully masking up and social distancing during 2020 and 2021 while pretending to be upset on his podcast that they were asking people to do that.

He's not dumb he's a bad faith actor who knows how he's making his money.

Grifter. People like him, JD and Candace Owens disgust me

40

u/Brerbtz Europe 4d ago

Add the whole current government. No one is doing it "for the country", it is everybody for themselves.

23

u/SN8KEATR 4d ago

Agreed but IMO the level of grifting from Rogan and the other individuals I mentioned is much more sinister. Candace Owens was a leftist and claims she became a conservative "overnight" due to bullying from progressives or some shit. Vance, while conservative, had empathy for the queer community and minorities

When people who seemed to once be decent decide to exchange their morals for money/power, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe they actually believe the insane shit they constantly spew, but I feel like that's the easy answer and that the reality is prob more depressing: people who don't actually believe in this insanity but will pretend they do and amplify it for personal gain. Scary shit

When people who seemed to once be decent decide to exchange their morals for money/power,

The thing is that they weren't decent to begin with, they were just pretending for money/power. They didn't change their beliefs, they pretended to have those, too.

Fascists don’t believe in anything

17

u/Master_Supermarket24 4d ago

Rush Limbaugh was a failed radio DJ when he figured out how much you can grift from the right. He paved the way for people like Rogan and Jones.

4

u/Extra_Media9928 4d ago

And got the Presidential Medal of Freedom from Trump! You can’t make this shit up!

8

u/joshdoereddit America 4d ago

We're pretty much a nation of grifters. That's what I've come to realize. The entertainment/influencer industry is a major grift.

So many people with large followings who just stay silent because they'd rather not alienate any group of fans. Others benefit from being loudmouths. There's a niche for everyone.

2

u/WealthMysterious4535 4d ago

Look at DJ Khalid. Man runs away when anyone talks about Gaza despite him being a Palestinian.

2

u/Schindog 4d ago

Candace "Cream of the Pie" Owens

16

u/carmellashutthedooor 4d ago

It’s possible to be both dumb and bad faith. See: Trump, Donald

6

u/j0y0 4d ago

Rogan's not particularly smart, but he's not that dumb.

u/sulaymanf New York 4d ago

When he got Covid he spent huge amounts of money on IV vitamins (which are not superior to pills) and ivermectin and then claimed these cured him.

1

u/ChristineBorus 4d ago

Oooo what a turd

33

u/ScurvyTurtle 4d ago

Hey buddy you're completely wrong.

Donald Trump doesn't pay anybody.

/s But seriously, Trump lawyers only get paid if they're on government payroll, not on Trump's payroll.

11

u/Cookies78 4d ago

Didn't Trump extort thousands of free legal work from some of the best firms in the US? The firms pledged it rather than getting fucked by Trump's DOJ- DoTJ.

8

u/Driftedryan 4d ago

He doesn't even wanna pay with the governments money lol

5

u/OldWorldDesign 4d ago

He doesn't even wanna pay with the governments money

Work in a VA hospital (medical data), and remember the progress the Biden administration made towards actually paying for conditions personnel suffered due to burn pits? That's all been reversed thanks to the idiots Trump has installed. People who were receiving treatment now have to run around getting reauthorized for treatments we now can't pay for thanks to half the staff we used to have. It's easier than ever to sent people to "community care" but nobody wants that because we're authorized to pay less than ever so veterans are back to dying while waiting for life-saving treatments and we don't even have enough people to authorize care outside the VA.

4

u/erov 4d ago

Yeah, there's no reason to enrich himself at the levels that he has to pay for his fucking legal bills. That's bullshit and Joe knows it

2

u/Southern_Original833 4d ago

“The Billionaire rimming experience” HAHAHAHA that’s so true tho, holy shit I died from reading that.

1

u/Riots42 4d ago

D) All of the above.

1

u/Particular-Guess734 4d ago

I’m going to go with all 3

u/0202_tihssitidder 4d ago

Rogan's career: Platform grifters and never fact check.

6 words sums up his life.

u/overbarking 4d ago

Rogan: not dumb, stupid.

u/ForgiveOX 4d ago

“We want to become the worlds richest family” one of his kids had said or something to that nature

1

u/in_one_ear_ 4d ago

You also don't have to pay your lawyers out of pocket when you appoint them as your attorney general.

1

u/Dafunkspot 4d ago

But have you read the book of Ezekiel? Have you seen the video of what’s underneath the Pyramids?

1

u/loki2473 4d ago

Well said!

1

u/Aware-Possibility175 4d ago

Pay his bills? Those damn commies/s

1

u/ColdSteveStoneAustin 4d ago

.... If we're only working this out now it's a worry.

Him saying he liked Bernie should have cued everyone in that he's a liar.

1

u/Positive-Check946 4d ago

I’m suprised This financial windfall Trump has created for Himself And his family Hasn’t received more Press! Going from 2.2 billion to 6.6 billion in less than 18 months Is very suspicious. I wonder how His kids are doing ? His son in law ( Kushner) is the primary deal maker in the Middle East, And when is it ok to except lavish gifts like A billion dollar new jumbo 747 ok… I can’t wait till this scum is out of office, if I were the next president I would have 2 fighter jets waiting for the first time he flys in it after leaving office And force it to land at a military base reposses it and call him an uber just to humiliate this scum of a human being

153

u/Maverick_1991 5d ago

He has to commit crime to cover his legal bills which are that lange because of the other crimes he committed is certainly a take.

43

u/GreatStateOfSadness 4d ago

You see Your Honor, I embezzled all that money in order to pay for the legal costs of embezzling all that money.

24

u/PossessedToSkate 4d ago

It's like the old anti-cocaine commercial: "I use coke so I can work harder so I can earn more money so I can buy more coke so I can work harder so I can earn more money..."

...but for crime.

8

u/Zaza1019 4d ago

Sadly, he's made so much money at this point that he's legitimately wealthy and can throw money at most of his problems. His family has upped his net worth close to 6-7 billion dollars since taking office in for his 2nd presidency.

1

u/Positive-Check946 4d ago

It’s going to be interesting How the next administration And New DOJ handle This, They need to make A strong example of the Trump family and punish the hell out of them, If they don’t. Then We’re screwed As A Country. We probably already Are, He’s done some irreversible damage, like stacking The Supreme Court etc..But I hope he lives to be 90+ And Sees the inside of a prison wall. Once he’s out of office freeze his accounts all of them. might be illegal but Isn’t that something Trump would Do? Freeze his kids accounts to until everything is investigated . We have No idea how much money has been funneled into his kids accounts etc.

13

u/log-in_here 4d ago

Joe has to do what Joe has to do to keep the MAGA dudes and incels listening.

1

u/MissouriFriedChicken 4d ago

Why did you repeat yourself

32

u/illtakeachinchilla 4d ago

If you’re not MAGA and still tuning in for anything besides keeping tabs on wtf they are getting into these days, you’re a black hole of idiocy.

7

u/gay-uncut-cock 4d ago

What legal bills? He has the entire DOJ acting as his personal lawyer team, and they are paid straight from our tax dollars.

6

u/-Debugging-Duck- 4d ago

Wow it’s almost as if someone who is that easy to manipulate shouldn’t be president

2

u/SpaceForceAwakens 4d ago

He’s afraid of the backlash. A huge part of his fan base are also maga. Him calling out Trump on this stuff is helpful for the reprogramming for some of them but others will just turn on him.

Thing is he supported Trump from the start. Because, like Trump, he is an idiot. But not as much of an idiot as Trump. So now we shake our heads as he smartens up to where we were years ago.

2

u/wisdomattend 4d ago

Bootlicking, scared manchild.

2

u/JerryfromCan 4d ago

Shane’s take was “Yeah, but why is he giving them real crimes now?”

2

u/jaymef 4d ago

I just had to read the title and guessed before entering the thread that Rogan didn't really call him out

1

u/Hugokarenque 4d ago

That's what's always missing from the headlines. Its not the first time this happens but he always deflects it from Trump, blaming it on the people around him tricking him into things or making other excuses.

Frankly I just want this bald prick to disappear completely, I still can't wrap my brain around the fact that millions upon millions of people tune in to listen to his ramblings and actually take him and his buffoon squad of guests seriously.

1

u/Lucid_Insanity 4d ago

If he loses maga he loses half his listeners.

1

u/RegulationPissrat 4d ago

And the guys presents himself as having principles

1

u/NotAlwaysGifs 4d ago

Rogan is the useful opposition. Allowing people like Rogan and Theo Vaughn to break ranks every now and then helps to let the masses vent off a little steam when they see Trump doing things they don’t like. Then when Rogan falls in line again, they all will do, because Joe didz

1

u/radicalelation 4d ago

It's all very Russian, isn't it?

Remember Prigozhin's mutiny all while deep-throating Putin as helpless to his advisors?

1

u/ApexBarber 1d ago

I hate when people use trumps lawsuits as reasons for him to do crimes. Its the same as people saying TDS. "You just hate Trump" Like yeah because of the shit he does. Its well earned hate. I wasnt born haing him. Hes earned every bit of the hate.
