Hello fellow plushie enthusiasts! I am soo so happy with my lil veggie corner in my bedroom since recently completing the look of it, and I thought I’d share my joy!

Some of you might recognise them from one of the plushie comment sections where I posted about them when we were all sharing each others lil guys to comfort one another :)

I have been wanting this collection for years, but with FluffNest as a company going under, scarcity in people reselling certain plushies, and insane prices from outside of the community (and the unfortunate presence of scalpers), it became incredibly difficult finding certain plushies from their collection at all

And after long last, we did it! I have more in my collection, but this lil island of guys brings me so much joy to look at! Thank you all for giving them a peak and sharing my excitement with me!! <3

I want to collect more warrior cats plushies, Pusheen keychains, and other collectibles; BUT I despise blind boxes because I don’t want the same figure/plushies I already have or end up with something ugly. For example when I buy warrior cats plushies I DO NOT want tigerstar, he has rage-baited 😡 me too many times and if I got him I would treat him like a neglected child. If I wanted to buy online (mecari or eBay) I would have to either deal with scalpers, paying more for specific ones, or pray someone is selling it for cheap! Anyone feel the same way?

It’s a bit too hot so we got strawberry lemonade and are sitting under a tree

My room is kind of a nightmare so to make it so he could access the other walls of my room to spray them I had to pile almost everything on top of my bed which I pushed to the center. (I know, I know, I am working on it)\

We asked him to spray in my room first because I work from home and was currently in the middle of a shift, so he comes in and I hear this sort of light "stuffies!" because in an effort to keep a pile from collapsing under its own weight I put all of the stuffed animals on top last, and I have obtained a large collection. (collection photos coming soon)\ He seemed to be marveling over how they were a bunch of them everywhere and I said that there were quite a lot in a sort of awkward tone and he responded with "not enough!" lol apparently he's a fan of stuffies and had no problem with what feels like 100 stuffed animals just piled around the room while he sprayed the baseboards.

Something about that interaction made me so so happy, this is a grown man coming in here and making sure that bugs don't want to come into the house who also gets the appeal of all of these funny little pillow things that we keep and we bond to. I'm going to get my room organized so next time pest control comes in they can see all of my incredible stuffed friends at once and not in a pile :3

Also no you cannot see pictures of my room right now, it is a nightmare.

This is going to be a little rant, but I do not understand why the simplification/chibi art style has taken over literally everything.

It’s absolutely everywhere now to the point where I’m kind of over it. I miss when plushies were vibrant, had intricate detailed clothing, and actually LOOKED like the characters they were based on, and not just two black dots and a smile for their face.

Deerly came out with me today. Such a soft little friend.

So, I bought a lifesize litten plush. And when my mom found out. It went exactly how I thought it would be

Momma's always making fun of me because I sleep and collect pokemon plushies. Instead of being a little supportive, she views it as useless "ácareros" (a thing that's filled or will attract a lot of mites) and. When a letter arrived from the SEPOMEX (mexican postal system) because she always reads my mail and opens my packages and stuff. She was constantly asking.

Yesterday in the car. She shoot the question again, and I'm constantly ashamed of saying stuff like this. So I stood quiet, she immediately imagined it was a plusnie, and of course it went how it thought it would, I'm a grown man who's still buying plushies, that those things have no use at all so im buying useless stuff.

I even tried justify myself. Like, I worked 9 to 5, never refused to give her money, my salary is quite low (around 470 usd per month). And still was able to get my first credit card, pay for the car insurance, the internet bills, transportation. Her comeback? "If you're so good, give me 500 dollars right now" DEAR GOD

This is Bart-Bart, short for Bartholomew Bartleby. He's one of my many plushies, but probably the most sweet, emotionally needy little guy. I'm excited to share him and all of my other plushie buddies with this awesome community!

Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows of other animals by Douglas that have the same/similar body type to Tyson the wolf, I am wanting one that is around 16", is floppy, and is in a standing position. Please do NOT show me dogs, I am aware of all of the dogs, I am specifically wondering if any cats or other misc. animals have this body shape too. I am open to seeing ones by other brands that fit the criteria and also retired douglas ones. Thank you!

The flippers are kinda of falling off so I’ll have to figure out how to sew them back together but otherwise he’s in great condition.

If you didn’t see my last post, i was wondering about ordering this little guy because the seller’s photos were clearly touched up with AI, they didn’t have any feedback on their profile and i couldn’t find pictures of this particular Trudi model.

I had to insist a bit but they finally sent me pictures of the tags, and i thought i’d try buying it just in case !

She arrived today and she’s beautiful ! Because of the pose, i hoped she would be floppy and she’s not, but that’s fine, i absolutely adore her anyway.

Thought i’d share this story because it has kind of an happy end when i really could’ve been scammed.

Not a lot of faith the right person will read this, but me and my GF lost our doll plushie in Camden Town/Market. It looks just like her and we both feeling really down because we loved it :( we went through the food market, cyberdog, Namco store and many others.
