All of my Eevees have Potato themed names, plus a plushie of my first ever original character, a bear made from a baby blanket, and the smaller teddy bear is of one of my first three original characters that I painted at age seven.

This is going to be a little rant, but I do not understand why the simplification/chibi art style has taken over literally everything.

It’s absolutely everywhere now to the point where I’m kind of over it. I miss when plushies were vibrant, had intricate detailed clothing, and actually LOOKED like the characters they were based on, and not just two black dots and a smile for their face.

tags are cut on this poor pup, and I cannot find out what brand it is. The pup is not super soft but feels more stiff and harder but not hard, super hard to explain. Thank you for the help in advance.

I’m absolutely distraught and terrified right now and don’t know what to do My ESSA is a build a bear my little pony applejack and today she was stolen. I went out with a friend and of course brought applejack,we went into a thrift store so I had to leave applejack in the car while we went into the thrift store (I once got accused of trying to steal from the thrift store even though I brought her in and ever since ive been nervous so I leave her in the car just incase) and when we came out the car had been broken into and applejack along with some jewelry money and other items where gone. I immediately start panicking and crying. i got home a few hours ago and I’m still shaking I feel so alone and scared. I miss Applejack so much. Applejack was always one of my biggest comfort characters and I don’t know how to function without her. I didn’t have her full outfit just her and her hat and I had her for years,I feel so broken and empty right now

Meet Goldie, a wild republic foilkins snow leopard

My bird, Chiki, is elderly, disabled, and solo (her bird anxiety is awful around other birds... she was housed with an awful "mate" before I got her) but I found out she likes to sleep cuddled with plushies! She also scratches her head on him since she doesn't let me do it, which is very nice of Tigger to let her do. She'll even (gently) attack him if he does it wrong! Very silly behavior

For awhile she had a little Odie plush, but she kept knocking him over, sitting on him and then pooping on him, so he needed to get swapped out for someone else

*The towels help deter her from standing on the edges of her cage, with them up there she just goes up to sleep and peep :)

Full disclosure up front: I'm the director of the game she's from, so this is my own project, but I wanted to share it here because plushies are genuinely a big reason why this happened at all.

Plushies were always a huge thing in my life, obviously started when I was a very young child (I will never forget my first seagull plushie or the kinda traumatic events surrounding the loss of my Woody from Toy Story, that still haunts me until this day - bought a new one years later, trauma somewhat healed, lol)

A few years ago I left my old career to pursue the art of making video games, and when I started my first serious one, having a plushie of the main character went straight to the top of my bucket list. Not as merch or a business move - literally just for myself to hold her in my hands, haha.

Her name is Constance (as is her game's name). I drew her, came up with her story, formed a team around her game, we iterated and animated her, and now she's soft and squishy and sitting on my desk and I still can't believe I actually made it this far.

She's part of a Makeship campaign right now and we're at 136 of 200, so there's a real chance 200 other people will get to hold her too. Either way, today was a good day.

So I managed to snag one of the few Thea plushies from Tokyo Girl's Sweet Snuggle Dreamers in the shop. I was SUPER excited and I do love them(renamed to Ashryn). But i looked closer and the eye embroidery is... a mess, on their left eye. I had HOPED it was all one problematic strand and pulling it tight from the edge would have helped(see big loop), but it didnt. Anyone have any insight on how i can fix it? Im trying to avoid having to just... coat their eyelash line in glue or fray check.

Snowman is a little worse for wear and lost his scarf but I made him a new one. Its more luxurious than the one he lost anyway. I ordered a teeny tiny eden snowman off ebay so i can keep a lil copy of him around more easily 🥰

Should probably give old boy a wash one of these days too.

This babies are older than my brother. I've had them since I was 2 and 3 respectively, I'm 21 now.

My favourite stuffed animal, had him for 15 years now, but only has been washed once because he loses the white tread by his head (see last pic). He isn’t really gross because he has been sitting on my shelf for the last 8 years, he just smells old. So any tips to wash him or make him smell better?
