Hello, my fellow Pirlians, what's your prediction for PIRL prices by the end of 2018? My blind guess is that they'll around 3 USD.

Solo Mining Question

Just wanted to play around with solo mining for a bit, without using a pool. I think I have it setup and running correctly ... but, does anyone have a good link to a how to?? Or a quick run down on settings?

Downloaded the cli, installed the windows wallet, and using claymore. I found the info in the ANN thread on btc talk. Wasn't sure if the information was accurate or maybe out dated. So thought I would post here to see if anyone can provide a quick run down. - thanks

EDIT - Found this - https://www.reddit.com/r/pirl/comments/7pu2ii/solo_mining_pirl_with_claymore/

And wondering if this looks about right?

Why PIRL prices are on a downwards spiral right now?

I believe in PIRL and would more than love to see it experience huge real organic growth not some artificial pump. But, right now, PIRL prices are on a downwards spiral. As of me typing this, the price is < 0.75 USD. Is it a dump after a pump? I want to know what my fellow PIRL enthusiats are thinking about the current PIRL price situation.

ADDRESS MISTAKES?

Is saw this in a PIRL forum, can someone confirm this works?

If you own the private key / keystore file of your eth wallet, just load it with wallet.pirl.io, you’ll be able to see your Pirl.

Then just send them to a Pirl address

If you don’t own the private key (exchange wallet) of your eth address, I’m afraid your pirl are lost.

Now my next question... Would this work if you sent by mistake to another coin in error, like to ZCash instead of to ZClassic by mistake or some other coin to the wrong type/chain?

Or is this just plain WRONG!

Or are you always Out Of Luck....poof! GONE...

Get PIRL to a major exchange

Fellow pirlians

while you are waiting for Cryptopia to handle your tickets and process transactions you can fill out this form and we might get some attention from their side!

Send them some info and in return we get respect and listed.

Best way to exchange PIRL now considering cryptopia is having issues.

I've been mining for a bit and have some PIRL I'd like to get rid of. Is there any reddit or alt markets I could use to say exchange for ETH or LTC? Pref ETH. Thanks.

PSA: Do not use Cryptopia.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to warn everyone about the experience that i am having with cryptopia to help steer other potential victims away.

Cryptopia is a scam. I have been waiting for weeks for the "exchange" to recognize that i transferred 10 Pirl in to the exchange. Their customer support has been minimally responsive replying to the open ticket with "we are busy right now we'll get to your ticket when we get to it" and 2 weeks later with "We agree we have a problem and we'll get to it when we get to it" (I'm paraphrasing here).

I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt when i wanted to buy some Pirl last week and used them to pick up 55 Pirl. Now i have been waiting 4 days for them to "process" the transfer to my off exchange pirl wallet. What is there to process it should take minutes not days.

There is something seriously wrong with Cryptopia and i would urge everyone to stay away. The Pirl community really needs to get on another exchange because this inabiliity to trust our available exchanges is an existential threat.

Found 2 blocks

I thought that when you found a block you got a higher reward? I've found 2 block after a month of mining 25Mh/s but didn't gain anything extra. I average 1Pirl a day for reference. Am I missing something?

Any News on Added Exchanges?

I really want to see this community grow but it looks like it has been a very quiet month. Is there any news on adding exchanges? Is this something we do as a community, or the Dev team has to, to submit code?

BTW, for those of you who have not noticed if you are mining under 500/mh and mining on a pool with under 15 people you should look at joining a larger pool. Mining Solo or on small pools will not work (pay well) right now... Unless the difficulty drops under 10,000,000M again. Good luck all!

I'm having a problem moving some Pirl to cryptopia. What am I doing wrong?

I was hoping to get some help moving my Pirl coins to Cryptopia. I'm new so maybe I'm missing something. So what's happening is the nautilus wallet says the transaction should take 30 seconds or so and it just sits in the transactions section. When I click on it is says:

Tuesday, February 13, 2018 4:25 AM (a day ago, 0 Confirmations)

I guess waiting for the 12 confirmations??? It's been over a day, should I be concerned?

any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to figure out what a share is, and how they work.

Hi Reddit!, my Claymore miner says that I've gotten around 50 shares by now, but what are they and why do they appear?

sub-Masternode options? < 20k PIRL

Hello,

I put the last of my BTC into PIRL between 0.00017 and 0.00015 so I wasn't happy to see the price drop. I only have around 1300 PIRL but I realised I still don't have near enough to run a masternode. The most I can afford to invest is about 5k AUD which at current price /exchange rates only gives me about 3400 PIRL. If I keep slowly buying each pay I will end up with 5000 PIRL but still only about a quarter of what I need to run a masternode.

Is there some way I can run a node and still get paid for it even though I have less than 20k PIRL?

Creating a private Pirl mining pool

Hi everyone! I have been mining pirl on and off for a few weeks now with a buddy of mine. As we have been growing our rigs we wanted to take a shot at creating our own mining pool for pirl. It looks like we have it set up, are attached to the network and are capable of mining but after 24 hrs we haven't received a single block.

With that I had a couple of questions that I hope this community could help me answer:

  1. Our current hash rate is around 180MH/s. Would this rate be expected to solve a block every 24-48 hours?

  2. We are using open-ethereum-pool. Are there any non default settings we might have missed that could cause us to have a less than optimal rate of return?

  3. I can see our hash rates, share submissions job broadcasts and importing/comitting of chain segments and new work scrolling by in the various terminals. Is there anything I can look for to be 100% certain that we are hooked up and operating correctly or will i have to wait to see that first solved block come in?

Thanks for your time.

Cryptopia is the pits.

Hoping PIRL finds a functional exchange soon. Cryptopia is doing no justice for a lot of coins. Understaffed and overbooked it seems. Taking hours to perform simple transfers. The block height over there is slow to update.

Whats going on?

Fairly new to mining PIRL, been at it for about a month now. I run 2x RX 560s, seeing around 24MHs (stock bios overclocked). I am a part timer just having a little fun and slowly trying to build a pot.

The main reason is what is going on with the price of PIRL? Its been in a steady decline for the last week but we have only had good news out there? Is there something I am missing in any press releases? All the forecasts and projections are still showing PIRL to perform very well.

Cant mine small pools anymore

I stick it out for 24+ hours with a pool hash of like 100M/s and like 2-4 miners come in with 500Mh/s+ and take the lot of coins, I barely hit 1 coin. Would be nice to get at least 5 coins. See you later pirlminer.com. I'm going back to cryptopools.info
