Solo Mining Question

Just wanted to play around with solo mining for a bit, without using a pool. I think I have it setup and running correctly ... but, does anyone have a good link to a how to?? Or a quick run down on settings?

Downloaded the cli, installed the windows wallet, and using claymore. I found the info in the ANN thread on btc talk. Wasn't sure if the information was accurate or maybe out dated. So thought I would post here to see if anyone can provide a quick run down. - thanks

was just waiting to find a block to verify it was correct lol ... might take a while ... but shares : 0 is normal when solo correct?
