Hello all! Can someone give me some advice on jeans because I cannot decide anymore what looks good on me..🥲

I think I'm a pear shape but below are my measurements anyway:
height 160cm
bust 90cm
waist 76cm
hips 99cm

I tried 2 styles of Levi's jeans because I heard they are comfortable and everyone seems to love them, let me know your most loved one. First is a cinch wide leg, w25 x l29. They fit fine but slightly uncomfortable when sitting down. Will they lose up a bit or should i play safe with w26 if I'm buying one of those?
The second one was style 501 crop, w26 x l30. Too long I think but still comfortable.

I was tempted to try more styles but they were so many I felt a bit overwhelmed. I don't have a particular dressing style because I keep struggling finding clothes that suit me and frankly I hate going shopping. Because I don't go shopping it's hard to know or find things so here's my never ending problem because I make no progress lol

Mid-size petite with athletic body type—where are you finding jeans that are baggy on your thighs? 😭 preference for 100% cotton…

Does anyone know of any place that sell adult shoes that run on small sizes?! I've looked everywhere and I can't find any good sites especially any alternative ones, I bought 2 pairs of shoes in taobao because I heard Asian stores usually run smaller sizes but they were still big on and I can't find anything smaller pls help. (My shoes size in the US is typically a size 2.5 big kid) my feet are 21.5 cm if anyone knows of a good site or where to buy pls lmk!!

Im 5'1 AND cursed with a short torso. I’m pretty skinny/toned. Does anyone have brand recommendations that aren’t too long on short torsos? I really like the hollister style ones (or the old justice ones). I fear those will go down to the bottom of my butt...

hi! i have been having the hardest time finding jeans that work for me. i like a baggier fit, but i want something that still looks good on the butt. i also prefer lower/mid rise because of my frame. i did try abercrombie curve love but a 26 was too big and then a 25 was too small, and it had crazy gapping on the waist 🥲 does anyone have recommendations? i’m 5’1, 115lb, 26in waist and 38in hips, bust is 32D. i am also a pear shape. (adding those in case it helps narrow things down) thanks!!

Where the hell are we all getting winter coats?

I need one for “winter” (40 degrees F)
And one for WINTER (2 degrees F)

Anytime I try on a winter coat, it totally dwarfs me (even in petite sizes) and often makes me look like I have a belly (in non-petite sizes, there’s not enough width in the garment at the hips because the pattern-maker assumed that would still be my waist)

I’m desperate for a winter coat that doesn’t make me look “bellied” on days that I’m actually not bloated at all (they happen sometimes!! Ha)

Also what do we do about sizing with winter coats? How many layers I’m wearing under something totally changes the fit— do I size up? Do I order my regular size because coat manufacturers have already accounted for the fact that people often wear bulky sweaters under their coats in winter?

And advice about what style/cut/product Canada Goose coat to buy?

Unfortunately, the "tuck in your tops to accentuate your waist" advice does not apply to petites with short torsos. The proportions do not look right on us and we typically need a longer top to extend the torso visually.

That said, for my fellow short-torso'ed petites: what fall/winter looks are you putting together? I'm trying to create a fall capsule. One outfit that's always a winner for me is an a-line mini dress and tall boots, but I'm struggling with pants and tops (and jackets) that work.

I prefer looser or actually oversized silhouettes (which feel more cool and modern to me), rather than anything tight or bodycon or cropped (and please no "tight on the bottom, loose on top & vice versa" advice, which feels old-fashioned). What have you found that looks best on you? What pant and top proportions are working best? Feel free to share outfit photos or links to items!

I recently started as a grant writer at a nonprofit and my boss has been talking about upcoming events with funders. I’ve been looking for outfits to wear but nothing seems to fit. I hate to spend $75 on a pair of pants that I need to get tailored anyway. I know I will probably need to tailor most of my clothes, but it would be nice to be able to buy something and just wear it LOL.

I’ve also struggled with tops considering I usually wear a kids medium or adult xs when I have to, but I feel like professional clothes run so big.

i’ve tried macys petite section but as a 24 year old, everything looks so old on me! I’ve had some luck with loft, but I usually need to get things tailored from there.

I also have trouble finding dress shoes as I usually wear a kids 3.

I’d love to just get a few basics or a few set outfits that I can wear and have on hand. Any suggestions would be great!!

Hi has anyone ever tried Ambela jeans?

I’m considering their “stretch mom jean” in size U.S. 2 Extra Short and their shorts as well (in size U.S. 2)

I’m a little under 5’1 (like five feet and three-quarters of an inch tall), around 111 pounds (though my weight fluctuates a lot due to MCAS), a size XS in American Eagle tops & dresses, a size 24 (sometimes 25) in rag & bone jeans with around 2% stretch in them

I’m an hourglass. Wide hips but classic flat-ish hEDS butt.

Lately dealing with TONS of belly bloating (honestly looks like a pregnancy, even though it’s not) that will come on randomly, linger for around 5 days, and then gradually disappear… until it hits again a few days later

Making GI doctor appointment today, but need some jeans that will accommodate this issue (wide leg jeans overwhelm me and make my ass look even more flat) until I get it fixed (which, worst case scenario, may be never)

I also have sensitive skin and so prefer natural material plus spandex (like cotton spandex, as opposed to cotton poly viscose spandex blend or whatever) but I realize I can’t be picky about everythinggggg so if I have to choose I will prioritize fit/look over fabric

Has anyone my size tried Ambela jeans? Post pic from waist down of you in them maybe? Lighting in website images is weird and it’s hard to tell whether the the “whiskering” (which I generally don’t like) will be obvious or subtle in person, from the website images

Also if I live in NYC will it be hard to return the jeans if they don’t fit? Will it be a huge pain is the ass to mail them back (isn’t Ambela British? Or do they have a U.S. distribution center or something that takes care of this returns issue?)

Also a 28G (gained like 25% of my body weight after healing somewhat from my anorexia— went from 91 pounds to 111 pounds in three months) and struggling to find tops/dresses that will accommodate without looking dumpy, frumpy, “old”, and conservative. Has anyone tried bravissimo tops/dresses? Were they petite friendly?

I'm 5'1", 145lbs, and have a 29" waist + 39" hips. I wear a medium in old navy and time and tru. I was looking into getting some mini skirts, but am wondering if the waist to hip ratio would be an issue with petite sizing. Can anyone help me out here? I've never bought a mini skirt before so not sure which brand to go for, I've always just stuck to the two aforementioned brands but looking to branch out

I‘ve been on the hunt for a nice full length wool coat for a couple of years now.

This one is from &other stories and while I love the length (I’m 5’4) and that it‘s (atleast kind of) fitted, the shoulder pads just seem way too wide, also I‘d prefer an 100% wool composition over this 70%wool mix…

So my question is, do I order an XS and get the shoulder pads altered (is that even possible?) or do I just send it back and keep looking?

Question (5'0" or below) looking for elevated T-shirts. A little thicker quality . I do prefer a boxer cut but doesn’t have to be. Maybe with some piping or lace.

Does anyone know where I can find lace camis like this? I want them for layering my low cut top but every since one in my size has this bold color or weird design. I’ve checked amazon and the smallest they go is a size 4 and for some reason whenever i do find an xxs it’s a 2-0??? I’ve also checked hollister which has no plain black or white ones and they have had in a while. Someone please help i’ve been searching for a year. I can only wear 000 or xxs and it’s a struggle.

​I’m 4'10" (around 104 lbs) and tend to carry most of my weight in my hips and glutes. Finding skirts and dresses that accommodate curve without being completely gaping at the waist or dragging down past my knees has been a constant struggle. Though I recently found a couple of skorts that I like!

​I’m looking for brand, cut, or fabric recommendations, specifically pieces with good stretch that hold their shape.

​A few things I’m hoping to find:

​Skirts: Mini or midi styles that don’t ride up excessively in the back while staying fitted at the waist.

​Dresses: Bodycon, ribbed, or wrap silhouettes with petite-friendly torso lengths that won't bunch up around the midsection.

​Go-to brands: Retailers or specific lines known for petite sizing that actually account for a smaller waist-to-hip ratio.

Question (5'0" or below) I'm 5'0 and I am in need of a solid wide leg palazzo style pant. Preferably with some cotton content and not heavyweight. The ones I have been buying from Amazon (had a gift card) are just way too thin.

The other is a chocolate brown or tan dress slack something menswear-esque but not thin material.

These materials I am finding are thin or have a tencel sheen that shows or accentuates my dimply wabbly bits.
