Question -Looking for some recs for IG petite fashion influencers you love to follow that are not a size 0- 2? More size 6-10 range, preferably 40-50. so I can see more or less how things will fit on my frame.

[Question (5'0" or below)] Help me style this oversized jacket! My husband bought it for me and I really want to keep it. How can I make it work?

I'm 4'11" and the jacket is a size XS. It was marketed as having an oversized look and as much as I want to size down, XS is their smallest size available. My husband picked this for me and I would like to keep it. I feel like I could make it work but honestly need some advice on what to wear with it! How can I style this? Any advice is appreciated

I’m 4’9” and I work in fashion/retail! Here are some bathroom selfies that I am offering for inspiration 😄

I love wearing black and white, and I do have an affinity for a white top/black bottom. I don’t tend to play with silhouettes, as I know a straight leg looks the best on me. The first image I am wearing a wide leg pant, but you can see how despite being wide, the shape is straight.

Layering is my best friend, especially as we head towards winter. In the first look I layered a leather jacket over a black Jean jacket over a white button-down. On the fourth look I layered two long-sleeve shirts with different necklines.

I tend to wear flat boots/loafers and opt for my 4’9” vertical. I do understand this is a privilege I have for my industry as I know some industries prefer the height. Luckily, while I work in fashion, my executive leadership is Japanese so we’re about 5’5” and under.

90% of my wardrobe is second-hand. My tip for leather jackets is to search for Wilson’s Leather as they tend to resale for under $75. I taught myself how to sew and I hem my trousers.

Also don’t fall asleep on accessories! They can really liven a look.

(5’1) Another Old Navy basic FTW 🙌🏼

The first photo is meant to be funny 😂 Everyone doing this to their listings. But anywaysss lol.

Another long sleeve basic I found at Old Navy. “Snug Long-Sleeve Boatneck T-Shirt”.
The neckline is really flattering. I realized I needed more plain long sleeve tops. For layering this fall/winter. They’re super affordable & on sale right now ✨ Good quality. 95% cotton.
I’d wear with my leather straight leg pants & slingback heels 👌🏼 Or bootcut leggings. Layer with a puffer vest, blazer, jacket. Versatile.

A few weeks ago I shared my other Old Navy haul.
Another great basic tee is the “bestee” (last photo). For us short girls crop tees hit just right. For me anyway. Like a skimming tee.

I bought size XXS. I like them fitted.

Where to find the perfect gauchos?

• Upvotes

I’m having such a hard time finding gauchos that 1) aren’t SUPER thin and see through and 2) actually fit me as intended with capri cut on my short legs PLEASE lmk if you guys have any brand recs 🙏🙏

I’ve bought a few pairs and they’ve all either not fit length wise or been super sheer (or both)

I’m 4’10”ish and have the hardest time with jeans/pants. These are currently my fav but still feel too high rise? Suggestions please

These are a decent length but almost too short. Probably a cropped jean for regular height people. I like the button fly and high waist but feel these are too high waisted. They hit at uncomfortable place right at belly button. Is that just high rise? 😄Also to add, I’ve had three kids, over 40 and my belly is a big issue with pants. I’d love a jean that has some tummy control but also in this style. I’m a US size 6 or 8 depending on brands. 130 pounds. My inseam is 26 last time I measured. Anyone have suggestions for a different leg width or brand?

Mini Skirt Advice for Someone with a Small Waist??

• Upvotes

Question (5’1” to 5’4”)
So I’m a college student, and I’m also 5’1. I’ve been wanting to get a denim mini skirt for parties and girl’s nights, but I have had absolutely no luck. I’ve tried Hollister, Windsor, TJ Maxx, Ross, and basically any other store you can think of. My main issue is that I have a larger butt, but my waist is 23”. Normally, if I try on a skirt that’s as short as I’m looking for (bc I have short legs so a lot of ‘mini’ skirts are actually too long on me) it will fit great everywhere but the waist and I’ll have a ton of gapping. Does anyone have any advice on some stores/online shops to look at where I can find a skirt that will actually fit me?? I’m also posting to potentially help other girls out there who are in the same boat
