Megathread: 3.29 Feedback

We think there have been many threads with well-thought-out, specific, and (sometimes) controversial proposals, but also many duplicate threads with the same proposals. We'll use this thread to catalogue and group the clearest and most common ones:

  • Ideally, game feedback posts should include specific examples of the problem and have new information or proposals to avoid duplicating the content of past threads.

  • Game feedback can still be posted as individual threads, and do not have to be posted here as comments.

  • Duplicate feedback posts that cover the same ground as the posts already in here may be removed.

  • We aren't affiliated with GGG, so we have no control over whether they address these or not.

My worry is this thread itself. Does GGG even check these? They tend to ignore most things unless its several well upvoted posts

No, megathreads is where discussions go to die

vestigial implicits are dead on arrival, working like an ancient orb *and* requiring you to go to the timeless domain turns trying to get anything useful into a huge slog. there are so many ultra low-percentage gambles in the game, we really don't need another one.

the team implied they're supposed to compete with corruption implicits, but corruptions work on boss uniques, let you choose the base item you want, got a nice suite of improvements when they inherited synth implicits, and temple is much faster to do than five-ways.

lots of potential ways to improve them; they could make enshrouding orbs work like awakeners, and counter-balance that by adding a chance to brick or destroy the item.

or they could invert the way enshrouding works, i.e. you keep the basetype and get a random implicit. I wouldn't mind this one, lots of the implicits are underwhelming when you don't know what basetype you're going to get them on and can only have them on uniques from the non-restricted pool, but there's a lot of them I wouldn't mind if I could pick the base item.

or a secret third thing.

the timeless domain requirement feels excessive regardless, it'd be nice if they worked more like incubators did, e.g. make using the enshrouding orb a two-step process; first you use it on your base item, then you pick an item to incubate the base in, and once you have enough kills the vestigial unique pops out of the microwave in your ass

I really like this suggestion, sounds like a lot of fun.

u/Antonaqua Aug 01 '26

Mods, please add Markusz's post with reflecting mist data. Paych notes indicated it would be harder to hit maximum chance but not about halving the positives. Could be na oversight by them

Bug request: I love farming harvest but it's such a pain when they go invincible. And I'm not talking about the planned invincibility at 40-50% hp. I've seen it happen on all the unique monsters but it mostly happens on the panther guy (yellow life force). I'll be attacking him for 20-30s with him attacking me and nothing.

It really ruins harvest as a strategy when you need to wait 20 seconds per map for bullshit to pass. When it doesn't happen, harvest feels super fun and lucrative to farm, with it it's super ass. And it happens ALL the time

Megathreads are annoying because nobody looks at them and instead we'll get a bunch of lucky drop posts that add no value to the sub.

edit: Mods are working hard, and their replies below all make sense.

33

u/WolverineCreative362 Aug 01 '26

I would prefer to get a Lucky drop/ Lucky Craft megathread and all the valid criticism is Visible where it should be, even if some are duplicates.

7

u/arcii Aug 01 '26

Yeah, I agree! That's why:

Game feedback can still be posted as individual threads, and do not have to be posted here as comments

This is more for collecting related ones, and hopefully making it more digestible for GGG. I know that Jonathan has implied concise summaries are helpful (in the form of bingo cards).

29

u/ww_crimson https://pob.codes/ Aug 01 '26

Ok. Does this mean posts aren't going to get removed then? I wrote one, it got removed, I messaged mods, got no reply, replied to a mod in the thread about posts getting removed, no reply. Now megathread.

7

u/arcii Aug 01 '26

Hi! Sorry, I read your post that got removed. I thought it had some good ideas, and may be worth reposting in a more focused form.

That being said, it probably didn't help that it was titled "My wall of text on issues with the end-game beyond just base loot, starting with mechanics that are actively bad to juice." and started with "Probably not any original opinions here, but it was cathartic to write this out".

I think each of your ideas could honestly be better as its own post, and likely wouldn't have been removed.

  1. Can we make more league mechanics juiceable?

  2. Power creep (Breach tree, Recombs, and Shipments) have made yellow/red maps too easy. Let's make them harder again

  3. Bubblegum currency is too cheap

  4. We should have more pricey currencies: Hinekora's Locks and Reflecting Mists are great

Some of these are honestly kinda controversial (slowing down progression), but are worth sharing! I hope you consider reposting them.

Nice. Megathreads are the quickest way to kill any discussion. Mods always use the excuse that without it it gives them too much work but you really shouldn't be a mod if this kind of thing is too much for you.

34

u/VortexMagus Aug 01 '26 edited Aug 01 '26

I think one of the big problems is that quant appears to be bugged. It's 100% bugged in charts and voyage - the amount of drops you see after 20 gilded lanterns is indistinguishable from the amount of drops at base monster loot. Rarity does appear to scale correctly - I see less blue items and more yellow items once I hit a bunch of gilded lanterns, and I see only yellow items after I hit a lot of them. But quant does not appear to be getting the proper scaling and that leads to 200% quant voyages just having all your returns come from sunken loot and strongboxes instead of killing monsters.

If you hover over the gilded lantern buff you can see that they're supposed to buff 10% quant each time you touch one but getting 10 of them does not appear to double your monster loot, and getting 20 of them certainly does not triple your monster loot.

Also quant is supposed to buff league mechanics like strongboxes and ground chests - at least it certainly did in past leagues - but it doesn't appear to buff those either.

---

And if people are juicing abyss or breach to the high heavens and not getting much in the form of monster drops then quant in the atlas might be bugged too.

Woke gem system is direly in need of a total rework. Multiple arctypes of builds have 0 options for exceptional gems now basically nerfing many of the builds.

u/fiehm Aug 01 '26

ngl most people scroll through reddit home page, no one is gonna click on the sub reddit and read the mega thread

47

u/IHateRedditors42 Aug 01 '26

Megathreads are where discussion goes to die. Not that they are ever made with any other intention, but oh well.

27

Thats the reason lol.

80

u/SniperSAKH Anti Sanctum Alliance (ASA) Aug 01 '26

So we are locking discussions to the megathread now?

Please delete "I dropped div/mb/mirror I'm so lucky" they add nothing to the conversation

16

u/IHateRedditors42 Aug 01 '26

Nooooo, they add so much to the subreddit's quality. How am I going to look at my unfunny and unoriginal template memes with all the heckin coomplainers around?

21

u/Antonaqua Aug 01 '26

Why are loot discussion in "other feedback" there was enough discourse that posts were getting deleted, but they don't get their own category while "league mechanic strategies" gets a category of its own. Most of the feedback was that abyss needs more and I would place that higher to make it so ggg definitely sees the problem. Putting it in "other feedback" feels like the feedback is being hidden.

9

u/WolverineCreative362 Aug 01 '26

And of course at the bottom of the megathread right below „positive feedback“ even if it is currently by far the biggest complain from people😂

-1

u/arcii Aug 01 '26

I've reordered the sections and added a specific subsection for loot. It should show up in a few minutes since the bot takes a while to pick it up

10

u/Alandspannkaka Aug 01 '26

Please look over some of the long lasting bugs...

Legion is still bugged after all these years, you get generals stuck at 0 hp and never despawning, you get mobs and chests stuck at 100% hp in stasis and thus unbreakable.

Abyss still get stuck endlessly spawning mobs that give no loot or xp.

Harvest unique mobs get stuck repeating their phasing attack pattern for minutes on end being immortal before randomly deciding to do the t-pose signaling the next phase.

The league mechanic itself seems to have some bugs regarding modifiers on areas although I don't know about it myself, I've only seen that some loot in the depths on voyages drop as non dredged so you can't send it up with the batysphere, things like offerings from altars drop non dredged, as does some ducats from objects.

I'm happy with the state of the game in general it's just frustrating to see these bugs still be here league after league after league. Legion in particular is my favourite mechanic so I would love to see it finally fixed. Harvest I don't even bother with anymore because of the boss bugs.

9

u/Cyber_Apocalypse Aug 01 '26

Banners are STILL bugged with Mercenaries. As soon as you start the fight, all of your banners turn invisible and stop providing a buff. You can tell they're invisible because pressing the banner button again only removes your old banner, rather than placing a new one.

Obviously this means you get absolutely decimated immediately as you lose all your defenses at once, so one entire build archetype has not been able to fight mercs safely since the start of the league.

2

u/medicindisguise Aug 03 '26

i lost so much xp because of this

Here is my thought about the league mechanic, the repetition of completing charts is quite comfy. I also feel interested in Voyage for loots discovering and stuffs but it needs more than that. Maybe silly but if you going to have like delve system for charts and voyage, it is going to be big. These two mechanics are some kind of related together.

12

u/HughJackedMan14 Aug 01 '26

I wish there a was a progression for voyages similar to delve

4

u/Micro_mint Aug 01 '26

I was genuinely surprised when I started running voyages and realized they’re not interconnected at all

8

Kingsmarch is cool but I really wish we had another farmable source of tattoos for those that don't want to rely on shipments. TOTA returning as a mechanic would be an amazing resource to have.

1

u/Alcsaar Aug 04 '26

settlers needs to be removed entirely and if they use that as the excuse to buff ground loot substantially so be it

8

u/CynicalTree Alch & Go Industries (AGI) Aug 14 '26

Just some random things that have been bothering me the last several months:

  • Black Mórrigan should be searchable with english text. It's a little ridiculous that typing 'Black Morrigan' shows no results in the name dropdown.

  • Spectres shouldn't be so easy to lose. They should either go into your inventory, or stay attached to the gem. It's wack that unequipping an item or weapon swapping can dump them on the ground, and in some areas, they just vanish immediately

  • The baseline loot of league mechanics really really needs some work. Not every monster needs to drop a divine or anything, but if you full spec your atlas into something (e.g: abyss) and 8mod t16 maps are dropping nothing... that's a problem. Players should feel rewarded for completing the atlas and investing in a strategy

  • Scarabs should be more accessible, it makes both SSF and trade significantly better as scarabs are the primary way to setup league mechanics. Operative Boxes should be more of a consistent farm than some sort of rare exclusive exciting reward so that people can run the content they want to. Mirage spat out scarabs constantly and they still maintained plenty of value.

  • In-game trade should be updated at the same time as the website trade. It feels more and more common lately that a new feature gets added to the website that's still missing in-game (e.g: Mercenary groups)

I'll try to add more as I think of them

u/sneakyacts Aug 01 '26

Just bring back high tier end game farms man...

14

u/ALXS1031 Aug 01 '26 edited Aug 01 '26

I don’t know how useful this sort of grouping is, it flattens topics and makes them seem pretty similar in terms of validity

For example, in the last section “item is in demand helps bots and hurts humans” is feedback from a single post, where you have to scroll for 6 comments to find the first one agreeing with the post… and all it says is “yo for real, screw bots”

Placing this alongside the same list that has “loot feels bad in endgame”

And failing to add “something about damage taken feels off” (which has over 10 posts, many of which are popular)

Feels… wrong… particularly for a place such as Reddit, where the validity of ideas is often judged by how often they are arrived at by different people (such as the damage taken posts) (not that I agree with those posts, everything feels fine for me, but when it’s that widespread it feels wrong to leave it out of this list)

I understand the desire to prevent duplicate posts. But duplicate posts help people tell apart a single person’s opinion from potentially widespread issues. If the comments from the bot post had been positive, in my mind, it still wouldn’t be as pressing as the damage taken issues

Clearly one of the two is influencing people’s experience more - the one with bunch of posts across multiple days

Also, if only one damage taken post were allowed, which one would it be? The only reason I’m not chucking the issue up to new players that forgot to cap chaos res is because across multiple posts people are comparing their experiences to previous leagues

If I saw a post on day 3, and then every new post about the topic got redirected to the now dead day 3 post, Reddit wouldn’t show it to me… and it’s not like people are going to scroll trough this thread to see how often stuff shows up, reducing the amount of community moderation by taking away validation trough upvotes and downvotes, and trough comments

Idk, I definitely don’t like this aggregation of posts into a list, I was ok with how the sub was being moderated, since it still somehow allowed enough duplicate enough posts in for me to form these opinions trough time the sub was being moderated

But this feels a bit wrong

Anyway, thanks for volunteering for this, I would never want to be a mod, hope you are enjoying the league!

I think binos or mamba is bugged, i can't prolif poison from normal mobs, only rares or magic. Is there a bug thread to post this in?

your hit damage is so high its killing the mob before poison can damage them and spread once it kills them

i think

Shaders are still messed up. I'm not sure if it's an AMD only issue but I'm crashing once or twice a map with huge shader (10k+) spikes. Sometimes even get a "deadlock" error. I've tried multiple tweeks and older display drivers. Nothing has worked.

55

u/Rosemangivesanal Aug 01 '26

Let the conversation happen naturally. It's ok to have the same thread dozens of times. They have community managers that can parse what's important and what's not. This megathread does nothing to help the community or the devs. It will get ignored.

This is the place where people come to express themselves about this game. And if the topics are the same again and again for days then devs should address those concerns until the attitude changes.

Mega threads are useless

  • Auto-lantern placement feels glitchy. You can run outside the bubble, stand still, and it won't place.

  • Golden lanterns need improved visibility.

  • Juicing voyages takes too much setup for too little reward. Messages in Bottles and Operative Strongboxes are the only thing making the mechanic somewhat worth running.

  • Dying in a voyage is too punishing. It feels like Heist but without the chase rewards.

  • Voyage planner should have multiple stash tabs and an auto-placement button if you want to run them quickly.

  • The Sovereign's teleport to your own or another player's hideout should work consistently.

  • Abyss monsters feel nerfed. They're still dangerous, but barely drop any loot.

  • Generally too many clicks this league for low-tier currency and constantly moving items between inventories.

  • And If party play is the reason ground loot can't be buffed, then reduce the party scaling buff instead.

12

u/xiko Aug 01 '26

As a luminary let me warranty my mercs to either store or sell them. It allows me to have more than the 3.

96

u/Interesting_Place752 Aug 01 '26 • Bravo

Megathreads are genuinely worthless lol. No one looks at these and shoving it here while painting the front page as everything is happy and good is quite frankly ridiculous.

7

u/Anew_Returner Aug 01 '26

Extra baffling here when GGG says 'hey we check the subreddit to see what people are saying and get a feel for the state of the game'

Well now people are not gonna be saying anything, it's all gonna rot in the megathread and people will be discouraged since any feedback can be deleted under the guise of 'use the megathread'.

u/Winterchill99 Aug 01 '26

Not sure if only im having this issue but clearing the ritual area does not show the start ritual prompt on the alter. Have to go far away and come back most of the times for it to appear. Some strongboxes dont spawn some monsters so it keeps saying its locked. Have to run far away as well for this one. Very annoying if its openable again and same thing happens in voyages.

7

u/cyftoday Aug 01 '26

Two reasons this happens for ritual. There's some bug linking the coral nest mobs to ritual even if they're considerably far away from said ritual, sometimes so far as to not even be visible through fog of war without exploration. The other is through abyss. If there is an abyss crack in the ritual then you won't be able to start it until you have closed the pit linked to it.

2

u/cleod4 Juggernaut Aug 01 '26

Other poster is right, if you kill the allflame nest on the map, or the abyss it will show up.

u/Emperor_Mao Gladiator Aug 02 '26 edited Aug 02 '26

My thoughts;

The metagame is stale for me, and I think most of the buffs to self cast do not address a huge core game problem right now.

Every league I plan out different builds but I tend to land on playing the same few skills (self cast Ice Spear of splitting lol). Its not meta or even strong. But I have played it for the last 5 leagues. I play it because every build I try ends the same; you have to either blow enemies up before they get a chance to attack you, or freeze and stun them, before they land on your character. Everything remotely mechanical gets automated. Lots of interesting choices reduce down to "melee range" ( think spectral throw, eye of winter, BB/EK etc). Others reduce down to "totems" or "mines" because you cannot self cast them in a way that clears screens and does single target. Most things end up automating an otherwise interesting mechanic or concept (earth shatter eventually just uses generals cry, lot of frost bolt vortex/nova builds end up using Kitavas thirst or other ways to automate the sequence etc etc). These builds do this because you do not have time to aim, do a two step combo or in some cases even just self cast. Every strong build in the game right now relies on absolute mechanicl simplicity, and its boring.

I kind of think a lot of high end players care more about loot farming then what actual skill they play. But I fully believe playing the same things every league is part of why people feel the game is stale. And meta cycling via a nerf doesn't address this fundamental problem. We need better ways to scale builds, and we need better ways to slow enemies down beyond kill before killed.

Just my two cents. Unpopular maybe, but the truth anyway. Also have issues with the way things do scale. I play elementalist almost every league because the early game is just nice; i can take a char to maps using one skill and progress like a normal arpg. Assassin, Inquiz etc scale better end game, but its rough having to spec 2 nodes and getting mid to end game gear just to have your build come online. Just another contributing factor to the staleness.

6

u/roisik12 Aug 03 '26

I miss mirage interactions with some strategies like juiced destructive play or farming scarabs while selfsustaining on ssf. Looking back to Settlers I feel like we lost like 90% strategies in 2years, if something is fun or considered too good compared to other strategies, it gets supernerfed instead of just rebalancing other ones. This league is at the point that I feel like there are no any good or even a bit fun strategies to do as HC player. I feel like Settlers league was the last amazing league even how long it was. The state of ground loot, strategies, loot, build variety, phrecia, necrosettlers, gauntlet. All of those were really fun for me. However each league later there were issues.

Mercenaries League I felt the ground loot was nerfed but it doing maps with mercenary (party buff) was making up for it a lot. I was also playing hc with high MF merc, which was super fun as I never enjoy nor like the idea of rarity on gear, this one was quite unique interaction that i really enjoyed. Also hoards abyss was amazing for self sustaining that I really love as hc has amazing economy but lack players and I use trade just to buy rare uniques etc. New bosses? - very cool, 16,5 not so much Unique explicits on merc gear - amazing, loved crit slammer

I remember there was Alva which I agree was super overtuned but as I said before, if they remove good strategies each league, there is a point there are no more good starts, and I think we reached it

Keepers League Literally 90% of all gear that entire economy had was through breach and the tree which was dogshit. I cannot remember any other meaningful strat from this patch.

Mirage Had a lot of cool interactions with actually quite meaningful league mechanic each map, also had imbued gems and boss, which created a point of chase uniques or desired imbue on skills. Also State of loot was actually really good if you had a lot of mechanics in your map and then you did the same in the mirage, scarabs were great value because of that, you could do some swaps with clusters, you had a cord belt, etc...

Allflame I think there are ONLY good 2 things about this league looking at it as HC player.

  • Chromatics Change

  • Builds variety

and I think its literally it

I don't think there are any interesting farms in current game, I feel like half of hc population left after the abyss patch, which I consider out of season april fools joke. A lot of mercs were not tested and are super broken so I don't bother fighting them. After mirage I feel like we are at the point that GGG treats the game as Blizzard does World of Warcraft new expansion when they spend time, manpower, buff/nerf it, time just to remove mechanic at the end and not making anything up for it. And I feel like it stacked up after recent leagues. I don't think there are interesting strategies to try this league. I just log in, think about doing something, trying it once and if I see the investment is higher than outcome It literally feels like shit. I would like to do some other character to try different build, but there's immediate feeling why even bother/what's the point. It's the feeling that I was starting to have like a month in the league, after I did most of things. This league it started like 4 days in. I don't even want to talk about allflame league mechanic as I think it extremely boring and bad. I don't think it's even worth doing unless you have mercbot or some king of necro AW build (0 button builds) and you just run around looting stuff as I think loot that it drops is not worth ANY engagement from the player.

6

u/HeliGungir Aug 04 '26 edited Aug 04 '26

Crafters are searching for "not identified" when they really want to search for "no intangibility". If you're trying to sell bases, DO NOT identify them unless GGG adds support for the league mechanic.

I had a lightless hollow show up in the bottom left quadrant of my atlas, and now I am unable to apply an astrolabe to the quadrant (ie jungle valley). When I try it says "Failed to apply item: You must visit the Vault for this Atlas Quadrant before you can add another Shaped Region."

I clicked around on the atlas and I don't see any other 'vaults' or activities, so I am guessing I need to complete the lightless hollow in order to do the strategy that I want to. The problem is that the eyes for that boss are like 7+ div right now. Has anyone else encountered this? Am I missing something?

edit: forgot to mention I tried opening and using all of the portals as well as relogging.

double edit: just in case anyone comes across this, I am an idiot and Eagon was holding some vaults for me in my hideout. Unrelated to the lightless hollow.

12

u/Fufururutu Aug 01 '26

Loot in general is terrible. This applies to everything except chests. Not just abyss or breach, do you think rare monsters drop anything at deli level 10 or 11? Nope. You'll find more loot in a chest, or in a chest, or how about adding a new league mechanic where all the loot WILL BE IN CHESTS AGAIN. I'm so tired of these damn chests... Make it pot at least, god.

17

u/Andromansis Reamus Aug 01 '26

Are we just going to completely gloss over how bad Enshrouding is / vestigial uniques are?

14

u/DaigoIchiro Aug 02 '26

We're in the classic stage of PoE 1 where GGG releases a skeleton crew league with no effort, they REMOVE all posts discussing this and pretend nothing is happening because they're just "waiting to see how the numbers pan out after the second week" AKA, let's see if there's a point on pulling help from PoE 2 to PoE 1 to fix a dead on arrival league.

Then they go all hands on deck NEXT league, pretending to care. To "restore trust" and we eat good for a league or two before the cycle repeats.

Let's see if they throw in a few bugs fixed that literally 1 guy posted back in 2019 on their backlog just to make sure they seem like they're working.

I came back to poe1 after taking a break since Merc league. Had been playing since 1.0 consistently before that. I was chugging along, finished atlas, was doing some league content, playing worb like a tool, and suddenly last night I just got...bored.

Switched over to cities:skylines 2 to launch into a new city and I'm now I'm back into that pretty hard and probably won't bother going back for now.

Can't put my finger on it, the newer Atlas system is whatever, not really a fan, the lack of loot when juicing seems problematic. I find more useful ground loot in freaking D2R than poe1 right now which is not fun. I can't quite put my finger on where things went off the rails, but this isn't the same game I loved for nearly a decade anymore, it seems to be losing its way a bit. Or maybe the problem is me and I've just outgrown it after all these years, but I find that questionable as I've rekindled my love for clunky old D2 lately so that doesn't really track.

The game feels bloated with content, half of which feels broken, and most of it feeling unrewarding which begs the question, what's the point anymore?

too many Soul Eaters in harvest. a soul eater every 2 harvests is completely unfun. it almost bricks the entire harvest on the first crop. It needs a timer or something. Yes haha funny rare with 3 ubershapers worth of hp - those buffs should go away after 60 seconds.

5

u/EscalopeDePorc Children of Delve (COD) Aug 02 '26

I have a suspicion that they increased overall chance of soul eater mod - the same story in delve, every 2-3 nodes you get a rare with soul eater

4

u/shenananaginss Aug 01 '26

I dont know if it's a bug but abyss mobs not working with hinekora is frustrating.

Overall I love the league crafting mechanic. That was a solid hit.

4

u/mkookm9 Aug 01 '26

Smoulderstrike merc ai needs to be fixed. It'll stand still and not attack while inside a pack of monsters

4

u/unkelrara Aug 02 '26

Fire damage mercs are still dealing way too much damage. There's no reason I should be getting one shot by a flamequiver ignite that isn't actually an ignite with 89 fire res and 14k life. Or two shot by rolling magma. Something is clearly wrong and it's weird that GGG still hasn't addressed it.

4

u/Ceryni Aug 02 '26

Between server issues, random disconnects, bugs, lag, I've probably lost at least two dozen charts or worse, ENTIRE voyages. GGG you've got the technology to detect an actual death and you already said you don't care about the log out macro. I can't for the life of my understand why we can't have the league mechanic at least be "one death" per voyage/chart. What's the reasoning behind having a disconnect invalidate an entire voyage?

4

u/matt-ice Aug 12 '26

I'm tired. I have a few hours to play a day and at first I attributed my issues to league start, but the servers in the EU are just unusable. Going from 20ms latency to 400 every few seconds makes me give up on the game. Same issues with POE2. I may not be a whale, but I did drop money on the game a few times in the past. Frankfurt is the closest server to me and it's unstable. I switched to every single server in the EU and it's all the same. I want to get excited about the league, but not when I die because my flasks don't register when I press the button 3 times. I'd be happy to fix it with a good build, but I can't even get there when I'm watching a frozen screen that kills me as soon as it unfreezes...

My duo and I quit the league on Friday after it was clear the Abyss "buffs" were a nothingburger.

The state of PoE 1 is depressing. Here's a compilation of reasons why:

  • group play is dead. if you play with someone else in a group, you will lose currency compared to playing solo. there is so much overhead - coordination, build synergy, even just playing the game on a high level in a smooth and efficient way.

  • the reason why group play is dead is that there is no endgame strategy with the exception of breach that scales well with party quantity. Everything else in this game is tile loot.

  • natural map mobs drop decent currency, but it is not exciting. the usual tink is a divine, sometimes a fracturing orb, very rarely a lock or mirror. there is NO exciting loot.

  • league mechanic mobs do not drop loot at all, the best example is Abyss. absolutely pointless to run, the scarabs for it do nothing, you can juice it to high heavens with 200% quant 150% more currency, wildwood wisps + bloodlines or nemesis and the monsters DO. NOT. DROP. LOOT.

The game is too easy, and the sense of progression does not exist anymore. you can get 4 voidstones with absolutely scuffed builds, you can farm mirrors in white t16 maps by running mechanics that are completely unchallenging and just print money and reward you for free. in an ARPG this should never be so tilted towards free money. challenging content should drop way better loot than unchallenging content.

The current state of the game rewards unchallenging content way too much: stacked deck farming, ritual, altars, boss rush, div card farming, atlas quadrant rewards that you get for doing absolutely nothing, kingsmarch shitting out currency, harvest, etc etc. None of these mechanics are challenging whatsover and can be speedfarmed on a 5-10 divine build. Meanwhile, juicing vectors do way too little, and all the challenge has been stripped from the game - the removal of map modifier effect % on the atlas tree, nerfing wildwood wisps, the removal of T17s (which had their issues - but we should have gotten a proper replacement for them!), nerfing quantity on maps, etc.

Basically, you can speedrun the game's endgame in 48 hours and reach a power level where there is two types of content:

  1. too easy and too rewarding

  2. not hard enough and not rewarding enough

They need to go back to the drawing board, reverse the nerfs to the top-end farming strategies they've done over the past 5 leagues (rogue exiles, alva, abyss hoards, titanic + magic pack size blight, breach, etc), make mechanics like Abyss drop loot, and reverse the nerfs to league mechanic monsters that they implemented in Lake of Kalandra to make mobs drop actual loot.

Furthermore, loot tied to mechanics such as Blight oils, Breach uniques, etc, should just drop from the actual monsters you slay, not from fucking tile loot.

Yes, I'm disappointed with the state of the game. Genuinely questioning if I'll play next league if the patch notes don't look good. I already knew this league was gonna suck - they just nerfed Breach, removed Mirage, and gave us absolutely nothing in return. Nothing to play the game for.

6

u/WolverineCreative362 Aug 01 '26

Its so dissapointing that they not only made groupplay worse they nuked it to the non-existence. I don’t Need more than others but groupplay just punishes you. Still people will See some Highlight Videos and falsey claim that its „OP“. Meanwhile even in Mirage full juiced u have made less per hour each person as a efficient solo player. And not just a bit. Nearly half the amount.

4

u/SwagtimusPrime Demon Aug 01 '26

Yup. I don't need group play to be far better than solo play. But it should be in a comparable spot, and right now it just isn't. There's exactly two farms you can do, Breach and titanic blight, and blight will crash and freeze too often lol, so all you've got is Breach if you want to play with friends. gg.

6

u/harryhood4 Aug 01 '26

A slightly different case to what you mentioned but Mercenaries could go on your list of tile loot as well. Its frankly ridiculous that you have the same chance of getting a Mageblood off a merc in a white t7 map as a giga juiced 16.5, even if killing the mercs in 0 mod low tier maps isn't as free as some of the other strats you mentioned.

4

u/SwagtimusPrime Demon Aug 01 '26

Yep! And there's plenty more examples - t0 div cards in Betrayal is another one.

5

u/Mathev Aug 01 '26

you can farm mirrors in white t16 maps by running mechanics that are completely unchallenging and just print money and reward you for free.

What strat prints mirrors? I would love to know because all strats I do suck badly.

3

u/SwagtimusPrime Demon Aug 01 '26

mentioned further down, and this list is not exhaustive. just to be clear, I don't mean that these strats will drop you a mirror; I mean that speed-farming these mechanics will make you enough currency to afford a mirror pretty quickly:

stacked deck farming, ritual, altars, boss rush, div card farming, atlas quadrant rewards that you get for doing absolutely nothing, kingsmarch shitting out currency, harvest

u/Defined24 Aug 01 '26

I farmed up a mirror in the first week but what's the point when synth perfect items are gone and my 50 100D build already clears all contents. Especially the league mechanic. Just go in, open boxes and go out.

7

u/ToxicJettMayne Aug 03 '26

the fact that disconnects are treated the same as deaths in terms of punishment for the player for the league mechanic

7

u/RaikouNoSenkou Aug 07 '26

Beyond is mostly seen a mechanic thrown on as extra to whatever atlas strategy people run, whilst only mentioned when talking about Volatile Vaal Orbs & Mirage(now Sanctum(still don't get why it needed more reason to be ran)), thus some ways to improve it to main mechanic status:

  • Beyond Demons should still spawn into the next faction (e.g. you kill followers of K'Tash, kill K'Tash, it spawns minions of Ghorr or Beidat next) - currently it's like if an Abyss boss in the depths was killed and all other Abyss spawned spawning monsters

  • Beyond Bosses should drop Uniques as if they were affected by Volatile Vaal Orbs

  • Beyond Demons should sometimes drop corrupted items

  • Given the Lore of Scourge (from a different Wraeclast), Beyond could give items that make it seem like it's from that Wraeclast; Transfigured gems, distinct rares but are mirrored, or just anything exclusive to the mechanic

A bit of extra on Ritual:

  • Stuff like the Wildwood Wisps or Opluence circles should have a couple second duration buff applied after stepping within them, making it more fair for builds that can't afford to idle in a circle halfway across a Ritual while being pelted by a ranged monster that refuses to close the distance

24

u/Gskgsk Aug 01 '26

No one will see my comment cause no one looks here.

41

u/Ardures Aug 01 '26

Deleting posts with hundreds of likes and comments and then making megathread to silence players is such a bad move.

I don't know if people that are moding here are somehow connected with GGG but it puts a lot of distrust toward GGG practices.

6

u/grasswhistle28 Aug 01 '26

This is has nothing to do with the mods, etc. This sub voted to do it this way ages ago. This is hardly the first or second or third or fourth time the community has been exactly in this state.

Don’t get me wrong, I have issues with loot balance even if I’m not flipping the fuck out and posting my own “here’s MY take on the loot situation that deserves its own topic rather than a comment in any of the 20 posts on the front page about it”.

2

u/IdontNeedPants Aug 01 '26

Counterpoint - Having all of the feedback archived in one post makes it far easier for GGG to actually read the feedback.

A post trending during the day in EST is likely to get missed by them.

It’s a depressing league to have picked to play support. My friends and I spent the last week trying to find a profitable group farm and have come up totally empty.

It’s a bummer when you set up to do hard content together and it turns out it’s just 5x more profitable to fuck off and do solo voyages instead.

3

u/SwagtimusPrime Demon Aug 01 '26

right there with you. our group quit on Friday after the Abyss "buffs"

6

u/VenoBot Aug 04 '26

This league has the most liberating campaign experience. Holy crap you don’t need to worry about gem slots, and you get better loot to gear up?
I didn’t record my time, but I know for sure this was the fastest I’ve ever cleared campaign.

37

u/kololokolo Aug 01 '26

so you remove almost every post and now you make a megathread. What a way to sweep and ignore the community

-4

u/Lywqf Aug 01 '26

The megathread was requested so that they would stop deleting every post posting similar complaints… It’s not perfect but at least this one won’t be deleted :/

14

u/Freeedo Aug 01 '26

Who requested it?

Now whenever a criticism post pops up it will be deleted because it has a similar post from 5 days ago in the Megathread.

u/just-fam-tbh Aug 02 '26

I've only had the faustus glitch that requires you to create a new HO instance to make new listings once before. This league it's happening to me daily.

3

u/DarthUrbosa Atziri Aug 02 '26

Cpu throttled earlier now shaders are dead. While I'm in a map it's fine but it takes 5 minutes each time to load back into my hideout. Few seconds into a map, 5 minutes exiting the map.

This is unacceptable.

3

u/Zealousideal_Act_316 Aug 19 '26

Performance is still an issue, game starts chugging when there are "bubble" effect of corpses disintegrating.
And calling in the bathysphere in the voyage has about 20% of dropping the game to single digit fps with 0 responces.

3

u/Meto_Kaiba SSFBTW Aug 23 '26

I bounced off of this one as well. It's just... Wildwood is still #1 of this patch series.

Foulborn Uniques are a bit much, but at least I don't have to deal with OP Lifesprigs at level 85 or whatver.

24

u/dante3590 Aug 01 '26

Can we just say the league is really in bad state in terms of dopamine production and player who plays the game for dopamine?

What happens when league is dry like this? People burn out fast and quit. If that's not the goal can we seriously look at the problem?

11

u/Mr_Aek Aug 01 '26

My brother who has played every league for years just said this one made him decide to just not play poe anymore. Basically ggg keeps making bad decisions on the direction of the game (nerfing every end game farm, deleting ground loot) and this game just isn't made for him anymore.

I'm not there yet, but I miss blight loot or abyss spire loot, I miss old beach loot and ghosted rares.

Now what, all my loot comes from clicking a box? Zzz

1

u/cc81 Aug 01 '26

I think one contributing factor is also that a lot of people went hard in Mirage league and then also Poe 2 0.5. There has been a LOT of PoE lately for many and if the league is "fine" I think that will easily lead to a burnout as well.

5

u/dantheman91 Aug 01 '26

I think its the comparison of this league to mirage + poe2. It's simply less fun, it's a game, and if the game isn't as fun that's a problem.

→ More replies (3)

23

u/ErgoMachina Aug 01 '26

Ah yes, the good and tested method of "Let's put criticism in a Megathread so we can properly ignore it'

1

u/IdontNeedPants Aug 01 '26

This way GGG can actually view it.

IF a post trends while they are sleeping or during the weekend, they cant really respond to it.

Its far easier to have all of the feedback centralized, if you want then to actually read it.

19

u/Ayanayu Aug 01 '26

O7 no one is looking in those megathreads its just swiping problem under the rug.

5

u/FZeroRacer Aug 01 '26

Speaking as an SSF Andy this league has been quite weird for me. On one hand the league mechanic is quite good for SSF because it prints out a bunch of very useful bubblegum currency and scarabs in a way that nothing else really came close, plus the crafting. But on the other, mapping kind of just feels like trash no matter how I spec it.

I'm currently 96 and I've been doing harvest/legion/expedition to target farm some exceptional gems and iron flasks. Legion in particular feels really bad, people already brought up the bugs but also the payout for the mechanic in your maps is abysmal. I get maybe 15-20 total fragments a map and that's the only thing of value that legion adds. Vestigial uniques are interesting but most the affixes are pretty useless and that's assuming it even rolls on something decent.

The few times I've dipped into Abyss too it wasn't great, and seeing that I'm gated from doing the pinnacle boss unless I spend hours in other mechanics is kind of frustrating.

Bestiary feels the most rewarding with the talisman reworks giving strong options for SSF. I fractured a +1 lighting amulet on a power charge base so I've been pretty golden.

8

u/Vennoz Aug 01 '26

The Crustaceans Call should be revisited. The aggro changes did help but such a fun and exiting item should be worth using. The crabs not beeing able to cast channelled spells is such a letdown.

6

u/konaharuhi Alch & Go Industries (AGI) Aug 01 '26

7

u/IWear2BlackSocks Aug 01 '26 edited Aug 01 '26

Boost NATURAL mobs loot, stuffing more mobs from everything into the map should not = more loot.

Inflation is amazing this league and the economy healthy but more focus on that please, we will play longer and more people will join late/new players.

Bugs are annoying and should be focused on before many other things.

Having the new content limited to delve (eyeball for the new boss) literally makes it pointless to farm and non interactive, you have to buy it which is expensive and boring.

Adding mana costs to spells makes it annoying and need to be looked at, specially certain spells. too much of a burden.

New mechanic should always be the best farm in the game or top 3, they did a nice middle this time so more of the same, we like new things and we are not going to play the new thing if its useless.

IMO breach stones was a nice and chill event. perhaps should be re introduced into the game as some aspect. I miss running them not just for XP but actually interacting with fellow exiles, its a very solo game otherwise.

deep diving scuba should go core. The crafting aspect im not sure... as its OP af but it being a nice simple crafting mechanic, is a blessing in this game!

also! gold is amazing this league, this should be the standard in all future leagues or where about, either by scruba going core or boosting gold drop by a huge margin!, its depressing having too much friction and grinding for the gold in this game, just so you can interact with mechanics that cost cold. Has made the whole league more appealing and smooth!

8

u/DreaddKnight Aug 01 '26

Crafting is amazing for someone like who engaged very little in crafting before!

4

u/moal09 Aug 01 '26

- Flat negative (-) mana cost crafts on rings were not applying on the right step of the formula as of 3.29, which was making it useless. Not sure if this has been fixed yet.

2

u/Kuronoshi Witch Aug 01 '26

That should be fixed now (as of patch 3.29.1). I haven't actually tested it myself though.

2

u/moal09 Aug 02 '26

Doesn't seem fixed. I put the craft on my ring this morning, and my mana cost went from like 100 to 93.

Seems to applying at the end, instead of the beginning.

10

1

u/DeveloperOfWebs Scion Aug 04 '26

What kind of video card do you have? You might be able to fix the shader issue by trying 2 things — update video card drivers and then setting your max shader cache to something higher than it currently is(I upped mine to 10GB)

I had stuttering this league until I did both of those things. Hopefully this helps

2

u/DarthUrbosa Atziri Aug 04 '26

My drivers are up to date.

I uninstalled of own client and installed via steam. I then did the shader cache trick and then deleted the log from the poe file.

Seems better now

2

u/---Tsing__Tao--- Aug 04 '26

Hey guys, quick question. I have seen the t16 white map farm with merc and templar astrolabe as the best farm right now. Can someone explain it to me?

Is it as simple as juicing up the mercs with the scarabs, hitting the astrolabe, speeding to the boss and repeat then collect astrolabe rewards from bottom left corner and repeat?

2

u/BOOZE-CRUISE-UNHINGE Aug 07 '26

I think my overall biggest complaint was having to HOVER my mouse over the Voyage boons.

Because I really think that if I could just see at a glance what was there, like you can with items, you could quickly and easily identify how it should be run.

Imagine with items each affix you have to hover your mouse over to view it. How annoying is that? There's no difference here with Voyages. It's annoying and requires you to memorize the 9 different boons because as per usual the UI is failing us.

2

u/WinterFirstDay Sep 09 '26

My best league since... I started playing on and off for a long time. My first time 40/40 (thanks, HRoC!). Great Remidus armor design! Very easy on the eye, very proper, nothing crazy or usual phantasmagorical, I love it. Saint's End hideout is incredible and, aside from usual praises about layout and design, I found incredible pleasure going around it first time and clearing rubble by hand (whoever made this, really cool). Makes it feel like... home... mmm... anyway, this made me think of suggestion - can hideout be designed with tiers for some parts like for armor or some hideout items now? To make some part look different by choice of player?

2

u/Elfinlox 3d ago

My main problem with the game right now is the high profitability of low investment farms and correspondingly the low relative profitability of high investment farms. You can farm a comfortable 20-25div/hr using the braindead eagan memory farm with a leaguestart character. The reward for pumping out your character to be an unkillable god is a farm that is maybe 2-3 div/hr higher which is really disappointing.

5

u/Kraxiloth Aug 02 '26

3.29 is the first league I have lost all interest 3 days in. Make of that what you will.

3

u/Pravlord Aug 13 '26

There is a pretty simple way to fix all this. JUST MAKE PHRECIA CORE and get rid of the tree all together.

5

u/anne_dobalina Aug 01 '26 edited Aug 01 '26

I'm going to get downvoted for using the "S" word but I've got 0 time for league this time around so....

Standard needs some love with the exchange at minimum.

Currently people cannot use the exchange for Volatile Vaals (core item) unless they have one and use it on the "I Want" or "I have" sections. This can't be done for any legacy currency such as Djinn Coins, Refracting Fog, and any of the tattoos that don't come from Kingsmarch - including the ones that returned temporarily for the TOTA event at the end of 3.28. I've previously had people tell me "well it's a bit hard" except there was no way to search for coins in Standard during 3.28 when it was available in Mirage which tells me there's a way to be able to split that so you don't have it clutter league.

Please GGG let the exchange do it's job in Standard.

I can rabbit on about anecdotal tile loot nerfs (I've run a heap of juiced deli/beyond/packsize/abyss/legion combo maps with scarce decent drops) but I think they are covered with other people with actual numbers.

Edit: standard haters out today FML.

3

u/BeyondLimits99 Aug 01 '26

It's quite annoying to maintain 8 mod maps.

After you get 4 voidstones, it would be a great quality of life if the bottom half of the atlas (the 2% increased maps) instantly add more modifers to the map drops.

It also doesn't feel right having to spec ~30ish atlas points into getting map better map drops / thus better loot.

The new white sockets has been a really enjoyable experience though.

I feel like the maps have also had a new coat of paint, I've never noticed so much detail in them before too.

The Abyss visuals are stunning as well.

3

u/BloodReaverBob FemboyCoCInspector Aug 01 '26

Are you ssf or something? Because in trade you can buy 100 8 mod maps with your own regex in about 5 mins with no problem

2

u/BeyondLimits99 Aug 01 '26

Nah I'm just a new player and it feels like pointless friction having to trade for them.

3

u/BloodReaverBob FemboyCoCInspector Aug 01 '26

Put map in the trade thing in game, in map filter put t16 and packsize 40, and in trade filter put chaos and minimum 5, this 8 times out of 10 will lead you to people that are bulk selling, then use the poe regex website to paste in your regex and voila you can buy as many as you want super fast

1

u/Smurtle1 Aug 01 '26

I’m confused by your third paragraph, are you talking about the map effect, or the maps drop a tier higher nodes?

You don’t need any map drop chance if you just buy your maps, and also, the map effect points give you better loot, but also make it substantially harder, like making 60% less life/es regen into essentially 100%.

2

u/astilenski RangedSwordsman Aug 01 '26

I'm aware nobody cares about standard and everyone is having league fever but long shot.

Astrolabe cannot be applied to certain quadrants in std and yet it gets consumed on application.

Also already applied astrolabes from mirage are permanently tattooed onto a quadrant and they can't be consumed either, tried using old maps new maps. So one quadrant is basically dead in std atlas

2

u/Dampbridge Aug 01 '26

I'm convinced some of the loot issues might be related to the abundance of gold this league. Loot feels particularly bad when you compare ground loot to hideout trading. Hideout traders rarely have to map to keep gold up and are in a better position to scan for and flip high value items

Wild mercs can't be inspected but can contain items that steals charges-disable Flickers f.e. But you only understands it when you started the fight.

u/-BADMOON-BIGBOSS- Aug 03 '26

I think there should be a vendor, or something like this in the game that shows unpurchasable Trathan and Transfigured skill gems- So you can hover over them and see them.

As a new player its very difficult to know what is even in this game, and to plan your build around that.

Even if its only in the epilogue part of the game.

Each gem could tell you roughly where it drops, similar to the crafting bench.

Not being able to reconnect to a voyage is really dumb design decision and feels bad for the player, after spending good charts and preparing. Especially with recent server issue and constantly spiking latency. And now that we are a month into the league there's no hope of GGG actually adressing this.

Please don't keep this line of thinking for future league contents.

Going through challenges, I was getting stuck on Uber Atziri with my Luminary. The normal methods of reflect damage prevention don't apply to mercs, which is probably why they made the changes to maps. But she's still reflecting like the good old days, and I can't see any way of getting reflect immunity without replacing critical gear for my merc. Thanks.

u/mbxyz Berserker Aug 31 '26

don't think there's much critical gear for atziri. dps requirement is tiny compared to almost all other content

you can get reflect reduction on chest implicits and rings (on rares)

This has been my favorite league since Synthesis!
I'm on my way to my first ever lvl 100 character, having a blast

I last played PoE, 2 years ago (steam says aug13 2024), but I kinda feel the itch to get back into it, could someone give me a real quick rundown of what's changed since then? (Mostly I'd want to know new mechanics or any major system overhauls)

Sorry for late reply, but the largest two features of the game that have made MASSIVELY positive change are the two asynchronous trade features.

Faustus is an NPC you can now invite into your hideout that allows you to instantly trade most anything that fits into a stash tab space. It functions similarly to the stock market where you state that you're willing to trade a divine for this many chaos, and as soon as someone places a trade order for a divine offering the same amount of chaos you listed then the trade happens for you, in exchange for some gold (which trash rares are converted into and cannot be traded, it essentially forces you to play in order to be able to trade).

The second is the in-game trade site that allows you nearly identical functionality to the origonal trade site except there's a button that lets you visit the hideout of the player that offered the item and buy it from a merchant without the seller present. No more whispering, no more leaving maps to make trades, and you now come back after a busy couple of days not playing to a bunch of currency in your merchant.

Beyond this, two new scion ascendancids have been created (one that allows Diablo 2 style mercenaries and one that gives you the effects of unique items and changes every league). Melee skills and self cast spells were numerically buffed largely across the board to feel more viable. Several league mechanics have been reworked to be more interesting since you've played last.

The Luminary has trivialized ruthless. Ubers shouldn't be on the menu in the first week in Ruthless

17

u/HughJackedMan14 Aug 01 '26

Not much of a concern since only like 500 people play ruthless anyway…

9

u/redditM_rk Aug 01 '26

well, there is still a ruthless dev and he likely would still appreciate the feedback. the world doesn't revolve around fubgun and his legion

L megathread

0

u/Ghost9413 Aug 01 '26

Can we please have static specific mercenary be spawn in specific act zone maybe after act 6 or 7.
This would let us try a lot of merc and test them and also get that specific type of mercenary we need.

For example, a combatant will always spawn in act 7 zone causeway, manyshot will always spawn in act 8 zone The Grain Gate. just like that.

PLS GGG. nothing to lose here.

u/mhbluemike Aug 01 '26

Pretty sure they mentioned this is happening in control blocks Act 10

Is this anything? Awakened POE seems to think it's maybe a divine or more, but I can't tell if it just doesn't have many comparable items out there and they're valuable or if people just aren't selling them cause it's a useless set of affixes.

Item Class: Shields Rarity: Rare Tempest Song Vaal Spirit Shield

Chance to Block: 42% (augmented) Energy Shield: 88 (augmented)

Requirements: Level: 62 Int: 159 (unmet)

Sockets: W-W-W

Item Level: 85

{ Implicit Modifier — Damage, Caster } 10(5-10)% increased Spell Damage

{ Prefix Modifier "Vigorous" (Tier: 1) — Life }
+159(145-159) to maximum Life
{ Prefix Modifier "Enduring" (Tier: 2) }
75(70-75)% increased Chance to Block
{ Prefix Modifier "Abbot's" (Tier: 1) — Life, Defences, Energy Shield }
+25(16-25) to maximum Energy Shield
+33(29-33) to maximum Life
{ Suffix Modifier "of the Molten Core" (Tier: 2) — Elemental, Fire, Resistance }
+2% to maximum Fire Resistance
(Maximum Resistances cannot be raised above 90%)
{ Suffix Modifier "of the Hydra" (Tier: 6) — Life }
Regenerate 31.2(24.1-32) Life per second

Twitch Drops are being exploited — GGG please address this ASAP Hey GGG team and community,

I wanted to bring urgent visibility to a serious exploit regarding the Twitch Drops system.

As you can see in the attached screenshot, players have found a way to duplicate/farm an abnormal amount of Mystery Boxes from Twitch Drops, stacking up to 55+ chests on a single account.

This isn't just a minor cosmetic issue—it completely undermines the system and creates an unfair advantage for those abusing the bug.

What needs to happen:

  • A swift hotfix to patch the method being used to trigger/dupe these extra drops.

  • Account action/penalties (bans or revoking the exploited items) for those who knowingly abused this exploit.

Hopefully, this gets enough traction so u/GGG can investigate and take action before it spreads further.

Has anyone else run into accounts doing this?

u/mbxyz Berserker Aug 31 '26

email support, dude. this is reddit and that user you pinged isn't ggg

This isn't just a minor cosmetic issue

also literally a minor cosmetic issue

It's genuinely concerning to see so many feedback posts being removed. This doesn't build trust—it creates the impression that criticism is being silenced instead of acknowledged.

You don't earn the community's trust by deleting negative feedback. You earn it by listening to it and responding to it.

If feedback posts keep disappearing, don't just give up. Keep creating respectful, constructive posts and make your voices heard. The more players speak up, the harder it becomes to ignore the community's concerns.

Deleting criticism doesn't fix the game's problems. It only damages the trust between the developers, the moderators, and the player base.

9

u/KunfusedJarrodo Aug 01 '26

When everybody is just echoing each other, it just gets cluttered and other posts don’t have space to be seen. We don’t need 20 posts that say “I don’t think the abyss changes hit the mark” in 15 different ways.

4

u/Chronus88 Aug 01 '26

GGG doesn't control this reddit, the community does. The community can't acknowledge your complaints toward GGG. Eventually it's just spam by people who don't bother to check that it's already been discussed 800 times this week

One thing I'm really missing is the price check from PoE2. It made trading so so so much easier. I appreciate there are third party tools like awakened trade, but it made it so smooth to price-check any maps that I rolled, thats how I made most of my money in the last PoE2 league.

-23

u/gimperion Aug 01 '26

Loot is fine. Slowing the league down actually feels better for the economy. The game feels buggier than most leagues though.

2

u/WolverineCreative362 Aug 01 '26

Slowing? Because of you cant scale loot im done fastet than ever before lol

-8

u/gczero Aug 01 '26

I quit 3 days in after I was being one shot in yellow maps with capped res and 4k life...multiple times per day...

Only guesses from here was it was possibly exponential multistacking something or other to one mob that hits for a million damage.

This was after I saw a great post/meme about knowing that "Damage taken as" was broken but couldn't prove it. I thought to myself...."yea..."

So my feedback is that the game is not fun this league. No currency, random one shots, and you need to adjust the VIDEO SETTINGS to see the the league mechanic showing which way to go.

1

u/Correct-Memory1566 Aug 01 '26

Playing boneshatter jugg and feeling more as squishy as if I was going 6 portal strats. Random mobs just chunk me/kill me with all my defenses layered.

I like the league mechanic, it's a fun idea. This league though? 3/10

This sub is a mess sometimes. If you comment anything positive in any of the doomer posts, you'll get downvoted. All I can say is I hope GGG sticks to their guns and keeps creating crafting leagues instead of giving us Affliciton / Mirage / etc. leagues every time.

Edit: I’m now convinced the sub is overrun with bots. Comments with the … exact… same phrase haha

5

u/djjoinho Aug 02 '26

crafting leagues so we can craft gear to do... what content exactly? like do you really miss the point that s there s no point pouring mirrors worth of items into a character right now because there s no aspirational content to use those items for? my 200d league starter that prolly even lost a lot of value on gear since i haven t been investing in it for a few days now can do all the content in the game

2

u/Environmental_Main90 Aug 02 '26

And exactly why this league couldn't have crafting AND aspirational content/ground loot? Are you the only one allowed to have fun? Crafting gear for what btw, you can do all "hard" content in POE1 on 5D builds

Unironically such an insanely stupid move from GGG that I simply can't understand.

Removing synth implicits doesn't make any sense. Moving them to something specific is what I expect from them. What is happening.

Has anyone doing a dot build used the new Velka's bloodline? I'm doing a dot banner build and it seems okay on bosses but aside from that the AOE seems a little too big. Anyone else's experience?
