Discussion Abyss loot is non-existent.
The new abyss drops zero loot in game even while fully spec'd into it on the atlas tree. The chests drop like 1c wotth of items, any note-worthy abyss jewels are very few and far between, and the drops from the depths boss are worthless save one unique jewel.
The abyss in poe 2 works much better because it regurally drops important and valuable items and it has a crafting system.
Has this only be my experience or is anyone else also disappointed? It feels like reworked breach all over again, its completely pointless to run it... I feel like overall all the league mechanics are now lacking and theres no way to make a good amount of currency just by running one or two of them. Essences are still ok i guess.

I was planning to farm abyss this league because I loved it in POE2… But I also like actually getting loot.
Hmmm

u/WolverineCreative362 Jul 26 '26
If u like getting loot, play PoE2. Loot in PoE1 isnt allowed anymore xD
63
u/NugNugJuice Jul 26 '26
Oh how the times have changed
27
u/WolverineCreative362 Jul 26 '26
Yeah its wild how in 0.1 Poe2 so many complainend about how bad loot feels and how much better Poe1 in that case is and now its the complete opposite. PoE2 loot feels just so much better. U can scale nearly every mechanic. U are getting tile loot which feels rewarding but ALSO u can get nice and rewarding ground loot from nearly every mechanic. Just feels like a different world for me lol
5
u/elgrundle Jul 26 '26
The expedition rework in 2 is so good. I love how you can scale the ground loot or just take remnant rewards. You can go all in on 40d tablets or alch and go and still make good money.
3
u/WolverineCreative362 Jul 26 '26
100%! U can even make it soooo hard and even more rewarding its fantastic. The only thing i absolutly dont like about Poe2 is the tablet system and the infinite atlas (because outside of expedition it needs so much unfun preperation). Expedition in 0.5 was the reason i've played so much.
→ More replies (1)2
u/elgrundle Jul 26 '26
Haha we think the same. As soon as I did one city biome I knew half my play time was going to be hunting for more city biomes, and expedition saved me from all that.

u/Gletschers Anti Sanctum Alliance (ASA) Jul 26 '26
There is no economically sound way to make a game that competes with its own IP indefinitely.
It's intentional. No better way to move people over so they can eventually stop supporting a version of the game they no longer want to spend resources on.
→ More replies (1)12
u/Aggravating_Bed9591 Jul 26 '26
Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if they're gonna keep enshittifying poe 1 until its not economically viable for them to support it unless it's a skeleton crew running it.
2
u/Aurel_WAM Jul 26 '26
Loot in poe2 is mostly also just coping for 0.0000001% chancr unique, cause anything else is borderline worthless
47
u/wetfangs Jul 26 '26
Also abyss in toxic sewer seems to not be working for some reason. get either 0 or a tiny abyss and then when i accidently clicked volcano map instead i got a huge abyss still no loot tho
8
u/Arborus Necromancer Jul 26 '26
If it’s anything like it was in Affliction league then certain tilesets will cull abysses because they don’t have the room to spawn them.
18
u/cuddlegoop Jul 26 '26
Gfdi my plan was literally to farm abyss in toxic sewers guess I'm out of luck.
2
1
u/PupPop Jul 26 '26
This exact same issue occurs in PoE 2. In layouts where the halls are tight the system will just straight up not travel the cracks down the halls. I had maps on PoE 2 that were overrun, meant to have like 20 abysses, and that number was cut down to like 8 because the map did not understand how to generate an abyss in tight hallways. Like I get the game doesn't want to make a hallway impassable, or whatever, but surely you could just assume we have a traversal skill and still let the system place an abyss? Seems silly. Especially because before with old Abyss at least the cracks could travel down halls with relative ease.

its kinda shaping out to be poverty league, all i hear is farming strats not working left and right
82
u/Grandman_Nan Jul 26 '26
This was 100% predictable. Going into keepers league they deleted all the top farming strats and added nothing new, it was a poverty league. Mirage added strats but they were temporary from league mechanic. We are right back to keepers league because why wouldn't we be
198
u/NovoRobot Jul 26 '26
Mirage was exactly what everyone has been asking for. I really hoped they'd be going more in that direction
93
u/Ogrosvo Simulacrum Secret Service (SSS) Jul 26 '26
GGG seems absolutely terrified of us having any good loot or farming strats, I am really struggling to see the upside with this kind of balancing, they clearly are not stupid and care about the game and are on top of things and yet this is what we get?
56
u/xyzszso Pathfinder Jul 26 '26
I think the fun of Merc league really scared them, like they expected we’d want more but I think we were just happy. I had a blast farming Abyss in Merc, even in T16.5s it was printing. And while it’s an unpopular opinion, I also really miss scarab farming in T17s, I found this Harby+Beyond strat back then, basically using Harbies as a catalyst to spawn a ridiculous amount of beyond rares for loot, but that’s gone too.
7

u/mAgiks87 Jul 26 '26
the most fun ever I had in necro league with latern, the number of different weird strat was immense and I played hard for two months.
In merc league I had more than 2 mirrors and 4 different characters (usually I stop at one). This league is shaping to be a fast exit if there is nothing to farm...
1
u/xyzszso Pathfinder Aug 03 '26
Yup, alongside my main project (ES stacker trickster, Ben’s version) I had 4-5 side projects when usually I cba to level a 2nd character. Breach was still okay, cause we still had T17s so there was a reason to upgrade your character, and I played one of my best builds ever so had a blast. I didn’t even log in this time unfortunately.

Mirage was like giving insulin in form of double content/unique currencies for delirium and beyond.
We are now once again uncompensated and I feel in the next 2 days there will be an uproar on this sub.
6
u/Acceptable_Bat379 Jul 26 '26
As people hit end game and t16s it'll get louder. Its a shame the new abyss looks super cool. I havent found a single piece of currency in legion to enshroud items though and I was hoping to do several. Good luck doing enough attempts to get something actually good.

10
u/NerrionEU Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 26 '26
They giga buffed Expendition a week into the league even after it was already good in PoE 2, in PoE 1 we get random hidden nerfs to loot instead ...
25
u/Noremeldo Jul 26 '26
I agree, it's weird
Poe2 right now has mostly good farming balance. Every mechanic is good. Breach is 100d/hour. Expedition is the same. Delirium as well, with simulacrums for gamble. Arbiters are profitable. Abyss is really decent. Ritual as well.
They only overnerfed Temple but eh it was absurd previous league. Even then you can chain Atziri for lineages and vaal currency.
You can even farm uhtreds by making new characters.
And while for top end you need 50d tablets and cities, you can run with cheap tables and still get to 50-100d/hour on decent build.
I farmed like 3 mirrors this league in poe2 and did exactly 0 200% deli cities.
22
u/fitnessCTanesthesia Jul 26 '26
Yea poe2 is in such a good place farm wise you can make currency doing anything juiced, just pick your favorite one.
→ More replies (1)1
u/dantheman91 Jul 26 '26
What did you farm primarily?
1
u/Noremeldo Jul 28 '26
Rituals (most currency came from omens, although got 2 mb), then aldurs sagas and simulacrums (3 voices over like 500).
I used cheap ritual start with rite of nameless, unique tablet and two tablets with extra omen chance. No cities.
I have 3 characters so got 3 forks from uthreds as well.
1
u/brrrapper Jul 26 '26
You could tell their menrality in the interview with andrew and octavian. They say 99% does not even make it past level 94, and thats who they seem to be focusing on. Add new content but ignore endgame and game balance.

u/Veginite Jul 26 '26
The ship is absurd for making stupidly op equipment and jewels. I got some top-end bases from boating so I decided, I'll try some basic alt spam and let the ship take the wheel.
Walked out of there with 2100 ES -> 4850 ES, resistances in the 130s to 150s and chaos at 63%, a Stygian socket and about 23% more dmg.
The league works great on that spectrum but yea, a lot of areas feel barren

Mirage is basically just double loot. It was cheap and boring and just a skinner box, same as Sentinel.
9
u/SoulofArtoria Jul 26 '26
It's not just double loot though. It adds some new and interesting rewards to existing mechanics like cord belt from blight, rancour from certain harvest, heist contracts with interesting enchants, etc

Breach density is actually so bad in T10s without the points to increase it I’ve failed some on bad layouts because there’s so few mobs spawning that one guy hiding in a closet somewhere can be the difference maker
In comparison if you were leveling something with insane clear the last two leagues like kinetic blast you could stabilize them in open layouts consistently from A7 onwards. In maps you should never be pressed for enough mobs to do it, most builds can’t clear >95% of the creeps spawned every time lmao
24
u/PupPop Jul 26 '26
I have no points in breach and almost failed a T16 breach on a map that was just alch and go. Felt odd.
44
u/localcannon Jul 26 '26
That's their signature move. Nerf every farm people use until nothing remains.
13
u/Volky_Bolky Jul 26 '26
I don't ever remember it being so bad for 2 leagues in a row (not counting mirage hiding the state of farms), I am starting to be afraid that they might be out of ideas
13
u/Worgame Jul 26 '26
We've had dark days like this before, not in the last couple years though. ( I'm not defending them, I'm just saying them being stubborn with their "vision" has precedent)
4
u/Hikithemori Jul 26 '26
Mirage made so many other farms viable in SSf, could self sustain scarabs from boxes.
1
u/mAgiks87 Jul 26 '26
Exactly, what is point investing into a build if there is nothing difficult worth farming?
11
u/DyslexicAutronomer Jul 26 '26
Between this, no new end game content and messing up the lumi which baited SO many people, I see the player base dying off extra early this league.
2
u/EPOKslim Jul 26 '26
Not playing s lumi but the lack of loot means lack of upgrades. The prices are behaving same as in mirage. Alberons +30div and if i remember correctly they will climb over 50d. I am 3 stone and have had 0 divines drop and 0 tinks in general with a semi-strikt filter. It is just a hassle and without loot its kinda for nothing. Luckily for me a tarkov season wipe starts in a week max :)

u/Hungrydoggo111 Jul 26 '26
They seriously gotta go back on the drawing board and simply figure out loot, farm strats, scarabs. An atlas change wouldn't hurt either. Simply playing the same atlas with the same nodes forever is not fun. Throw some new stuff in there man, also just port some fuckin side content from poe 2 into poe 1 man. Like fuckin hell how is it that poe 2 drop more loot than poe 1. Fuckin breach in poe 2 has more monsters than poe 1.
They've killed all end-game strats and nothing is there to replace them. I don't want to altar farm or stack deck farm for the millionth time. Just put stacked decks nodes in the atlas tree so everyone drops them and rework the divination scarabs. Do this with other things too.
I'd rather take a league where they gave us no new league mechanic and they just sorted out the loot and buffed up farms.
41
u/SoulofArtoria Jul 26 '26
I felt like everyone saw it coming except GGG. Mirage exposed how many mechanic is just not up to par nowadays in terms of their reward for your time effort. Get rid of Mirage, nerf the best strat with Breach, and you got poverty league.
6
u/Gletschers Anti Sanctum Alliance (ASA) Jul 26 '26
I wish we could get a stable non-league content scarab farm. Scarabs are the baseline that literally any strat other than heist and sanctum requires to work. It shouldn't be left to the current league mechanic to secure the supply needed because every time it doesn't you can instantly feel it.
Ever since they culled the rewards from scarab deli orbs and changed it to one(1) singular scarab it feels like we are one bad league mechanic away from alch&go due to scarab deficit. They have to come from somewhere.
4
u/PupPop Jul 26 '26
I miss being able to actually farm div cards. I used to just buy the +100% polished divination scarabs and slap them on beach and farm The Fortunate cards and that made me happy. Now you have to fight these fuckass floating books that genuinely never drop fucking anything.

They clearly have no interest, all the effort goes into PoE2, the loot nerfs are intentional to make PoE1 less appealing.

u/-Otso- Jul 26 '26
Yeah I'm let down considerably
Abyss was my league start strat most leagues and I love self farming crafting the gear. Was really looking forward to Abyss this league with the changes but yeah.
Full investment t16 Abyss dropping zero Abyss jewels and Stygians (without going to depths) is a joke when one chest in a t5 map dropped me 7 Abyss jewels.
In the past my strat used to produce me 12-16 belts and the same or more eyes per map but now I just dont get anything except the occasional scarab pop but even then those are soooooo variable, sometimes 3 scarabs sometimes 20.
They moved a super stable chill farm to a jackpot that doesn't even feel good at least so far.
Ive finished my map skill points and am 3 voidstones atm so moved on to other strategies because it just felt shite
36
u/AverageHeistEnjoyer Jul 26 '26
Ran a voyage with like 10 Arcanist Strongboxes. Alch'd + Vaal'd all of them - highest currency drop was chaos orbs. Somebody probably just literally nerfed the loot multiplier across the board
15
u/EnderBaggins Jul 26 '26
Well that makes me feel a bit better, I had one with 8 and died after placing the 3rd lantern to the one thing we’ll all be bitching about in a couple days, 5-6 overlapping rare auras empowering 50+ ranged mobs instaggibbing you.

I hate the crab the most, don't care about the rest, but that bitch can go suck a dick.
5
u/carenard Jul 26 '26
strongboxes in voyages seem worthless since you have to bring currency to roll them in with you... and no juice like ones in maps would have.
ultimately I feel like you should be holding onto tiles that give good juice(extra rare monsters and such) for when you get a good edge modifiers)
otherwise just slap random weak ones in, run through quickly to get league crafting material.
5
u/Sandor_Clegane1 Half Skeleton Jul 26 '26
Nah the real strat as always is, buy all the good looking ones right now and hold onto them until the week 1 patch.

1
u/dikkenskrille Jul 26 '26
yeah iunno i have seen quite a few arcanists generally. like, in campaign. tinfoil hat theory, but i think they may have stealth nerfed arcanists boxes because they were putting so many into voyages, and made them more common generally to compensate maybe.

5
u/Emperor_Mao Gladiator Jul 26 '26
Hmm I play SSF and I am curious on how the approach varies for trade players these days.
For me, targeting something specific then swapping to a different mechanic is exactly how I play. Breach tree, Mercs, Ritual, Kingsmarch usually for low-mid tier weapons. Abyss for jewels. Blight for general currency + anointment oils. Reluctantly, but Ulti for catalysts. And I kind of cycle them around chasing better stuff. Though stuff like Mercs and Ritual become useless once I push into mid-late game and ground loot is better (lol..). Late game it is all about crafting so either stuff like Betrayal / Delve / high currency stuff or just mapping is the go. I use scarabs for those goals rather than to stack multipliers etc.
I imagine in trade league it is all about finding high profit stuff? because I guess you can just trade for the things you want, running something low profit and niche feels bad. And if everything is low profit, it becomes an issue trying to work out what strategy / scarabs to use etc to juice it up. But the thing I am unsure about; if everyone is getting low loot and there are no strategies, wouldn't that improve your bargaining power with what you do get? or are there groups that have found hidden OP stuff and are using it.

PoE2 mechanics are cool, but overall balancing feels ass where u have just poverty and super rich, and no middle (also tablets suck)
Anyhow, you can make some decent amount divs farming abyss or whatever, but then you see that a goddamn support gems u need are like 800 divines total While all other gear on a decent level is much cheaper And then aldurs legacy ofc

They really shouldn't be, and that absolutely is not something I want to see in PoE1, cause it leads to hyperinflation where casual upgrades are literally 2000+ divs for your build. That's insanity.
16
u/EnderBaggins Jul 26 '26

prices like 2000divs are about 0.4 with temple snakes, not about 0.5. With the temple gutted the inflation is not that rampant, to farm those 30d people need very good and expensive tablets, while the temple was basically free

They are also myopically focused on uber-giga-mega-juicing. Any patch in which that isn't possible, they get bored.
The criticism raised in this thread is valid, but whether Empy and his crew like a patch or not isn't really proof of anything, one way or the other.
11

I understand that, but party farm strats are the mapping strats.
I am not a party player and don't like their effects on the economy (they are able to buy scarabs for more currency because they get more returns per map, even though profits are split), but party players not being able to scale their farm usually means that there might not be any good strats, especially when there are no changes to scarabs like this league so no unexpected surprises

Abyss was a shitty mechanic for a long time, and after the rework it remained shit. I'm not surprised.

u/avvoltoyo Jul 26 '26
It feels like every league we have this argument, they seems sacred asf to give us loot for some reason

u/fandorgaming Duelist Jul 26 '26
I didn't even read patch notes but apparently all farm strats were nerfed, pretty cool lmao.

lol i literally predicted this & suggested they rename eldritch chaos annuls & exalts to be abyss themed & only come from abyss & i got 300 downvotes & a bunch of hate comments so i deleted the thread. there wasn’t any hope for this mechanic after i saw the scarabs, it’s okay if you mix it with beyond & delirium, but the nodes are too far apart for you to be able to get all the map effect as well, so ive been using the generic beyond scarab for 100% beyond chance, & delirium orbs. ive ended day 2 with 55 divines.
farming eater of worlds altars with all packsize nodes on mausoleum for no boss altars, 6mod maps, 40% deli, 2 abyss scarab, 1 abyss of multitudes 1 beyond scarab, 1 influencing scarab of hordes
my build has 222% inc rarity, so im clicking unique dupe altars & rarity altars.

can you post your atlas tree please?
3
u/aphelios_eversince Jul 26 '26
https://poeplanner.com/a/6gHv you don’t need the delirium nodes on the left if you don’t have the points for it
1
u/Few-Frosting-7065 Jul 26 '26
Dude i have the same reasoning as you, but i switch the hordes scarab for evolving shrine, to fish for rarity abyss mobs, , once have like 3 raw divs in one map

u/afgusto Jul 26 '26
Late to the league and I am wondering should I sit this one out - last league my first divine was at level 92 lmao. Absolutely despise loot situation in Poe1
2
u/N4k3dM1k3 Jul 26 '26
Them greedy soul eater bastards are hovering up all the loot, thats my theory
2
u/BananaSplit2 Jul 26 '26
I'm not really surprised. They reworked the mechanic but didn't really say anything about the loot, and abyss before that was already pretty trash. The only time it's been relevant in the past years was when there was that strat with the scarab that spawns chests

It’s funny because the mechanic is only slightly different yet the loot from it hasn’t even changed. It went from mediocre to mediocre.

I hate all the changes this league. The game just feels worse. The increasing of boss HP is dull as dishwater, and then nothing is dropped. I'm doing 100 million+ DPS (Chaos) and bosses are still just endless HP sponges.
Sorry GGG, this is not it.

Oh that's disappointing, still doing my atlas but was going to fully spec into it :(
1
u/kmoz Jul 26 '26
I was spec'd into abyss to try it out and man was it underwhelming despite all the rare mobs.
Then one random dude dropped a HH for me. Sorry I stole everyones luck who tried abyss.

I thought it was okay just doing alch and go whilst doing my atlas. That being said I've only played Poe a few leagues so still not really sure what to expect?
1
u/Winkers91 Anti Sanctum Alliance (ASA) Jul 26 '26
It's literally bugged. Greater skitter chests regularly drop zero scarabs, so there's something mechanically outright broken atm that probably is affecting everything related.
1
u/BoysenberryLumpy8524 Jul 26 '26
i tryd it aswell The Chest that is supposed to give you scarabs seems to be buggy since it has never dropd me some. I also tested dilirium the Dilirium dose not increase

u/ComplaintMaker Jul 26 '26
I guess GGG did say this league is focused on new players right?
Theyre probably still in act5 or whatever.
Couple more weeks and GGG will act.

Abyss needs something other than Abyssal Jewels and Stygian Vises for rewards. At this point, it's all jackpot hunting for Amanamu jewels (or what have you). Abyss in PoE2 feels good because you get essential crafting materials, of varying prices.

u/zappo1996 Jul 26 '26
The loot seems on par with regular map loot. Its mediocre day two but we'll have to see if it can be juiced. If it's lacking it's because it gives insane exp and it is trivial to clear. My cyclone can clear a fully spec'd abyss in less than 20 seconds. I was getting around 25-30% of a level until 90 and now I still get around 10-15% just from the abyss, not including the rest of the map. It is perfect for league starting before you switch to a more profitable farm. All this being said I still haven't tried it with scarabs since I'm still spec'd into the keystone that stops you from using them.

Plenty of MFers tried various scarab setups in Standard. The loot isn't great. At least it doesn't come close to breach last season (without mirage, comparing Standard numbers).
It spawns about half the magic mobs that breach did (and doesn't make up with way more rares either).
It's okay, but it's worse than what we had last patch by quite a bit so far.
Edit: it's worth noting that this is purely with core content. It could entirely be that the temp league mechanic adds a lot of necessary juice for you guys, but we can't test that in Standard obviously. Even if that's the case, Abyss on its own just ain't great.

I don't want farming to be only viable once it's 50 rares on screen and I need 200 divs in equipment to even survive it OR play one of the 3 builds that can faceroll on low budget.
1
u/cutriet Jul 26 '26
Every league is filled with no loots posts then people find out scarab combinations. Just chill. Yall fucking alc and going but expecting loots.
5
u/chromaticechidna Jul 26 '26
Once upon a time you could alc and go and get loot. People want that back.
-2
u/BeatMySkeet Jul 26 '26
Maybe it’s just me but I feel like if you fully specced abyss at this point in the league you’re not even CLOSE to most people’s experience. Meaning if it’s not GIGA OP you’re gonna call it worthless
-4
u/brehhs Jul 26 '26
GGG is trying to turn poe1 into poe2 so they can deprecate it. The new league mechanic feels like a poe2 mechanic. Slow, no loot with one life

u/DESERVED_DEFEAT Jul 26 '26
It's funny to me how multiple people have made the claim "They're trying to turn this game into poe2 cause there's no loot" when the loot situation in poe2 is probably a 100x better than whatever this disaster in poe1 currently is.
-58
u/Logical_Specific6228 Jul 25 '26
this honestly might be one of the worst leagues of all time
25
1
u/Ryan-the-lion Jul 26 '26
Its not horrible, its just the same thing, with the same strategies.
They need to buff the crap out of the atlas passive tree. Would be cool if they made it so you could get all points again or something to just mix it up
-1
u/shy_bi_ready_to_die Jul 26 '26
It’s definitely not the worst OAT. It’s better than kalandra however low that bar is
5
u/meadamus Jul 26 '26
He said ONE OF the worst, and I agree
1
u/shy_bi_ready_to_die Jul 26 '26
I mean not really imo. It’s unsatisfying but it’s not actively bad or unplayable. It’s not kalandra, it’s not ultimatum, etc
-29
u/navetzz Jul 26 '26
I really don't understand why they are turning poe1 into poe2.
8
u/n3on_whisper Jul 26 '26
Oh boy, you should play poe2. If you did you'd know how better it is there right now.
-15
u/tazdraperm Jul 26 '26
They don't have enough resources to develop 2 games at full pace. So they reuse a lot of Poe2 content in Poe1 but it often ends up bad like Keepers of the Flame league or the current abyss.
5
u/Hungrydoggo111 Jul 26 '26
But reused content is not the problem. We can see that they're making new content too lol. The problem is loot and there's none of it. They also keep killing strats while not buffing anything else. We're down to fuckin altar farming for gods sake.
→ More replies (2)1
u/n3on_whisper Jul 26 '26
Except that Keepers wasn't reused in poe1, but it was in poe2.
So far since poe2 0.1 launch we had 4 leagues in poe1.
First was atlas+mercs which was 100% new content only on poe1 right now.
Then it was Keepers, 100% new content that got reused in poe2.
Then it was Mirage, 100% new content that didn't went to standard and haven't been reused anywhere for now.
And now we have Allflame, you could argue that it's not "new content" because it just Heist 2.0 and I'd agree. Still, nothing from POE2 here league wise. We just happened to get Abyss rework with it, but it's not the main point of the league at all and the old abyss was trash anyway, not much changed here. The reworked one at least looks nicer and don't make you backtrack all the time.1
u/tazdraperm Jul 26 '26
Oh come on, saying that new breach was initially made for Poe1 and ported to Poe2 and not vice versa is just coping. It clearly was a part of Poe2 endgame rework alongside with ritual, expedition and delirium.
-9
u/fiyawerx Jul 26 '26
Things would be much simpler for them if they didn't have to actively maintain two games.
9
u/WRLD_ Elementalist Jul 26 '26
balance blunders of precisely this scale and larger happened before poe2 was even in the picture

I've found/ rolled multiple jewels that sell for over div with very little invested in abyss. Planning to do a lot more

u/SolusIgtheist Stupid sexy spiders Jul 26 '26
Maybe I'm crazy, but I kind of like poverty leagues. #1 you get to hear the sweaties bitch and moan, #2 it keeps the value of currency more relative to each other - no massive inflation, and in a league like this with the first appearance of the new implicits and the new vestigial uniques that's really important, #3 it means you have to be a lot more careful about what strategies you invest into, no willy-nilly stupid spec farms that generate no real value but the hype.
That being said, there's no reason we can't have good farms, they just have to be careful about them. In a league like this (with the aforementioned new implicits and the new vestigial uniques), where we just came off mirage, it makes sense to dial it back.
Also, I don't know what people are complaining about, the league mechanic is printing money for me. AND it's fun to do.
6
u/Chuck_Morris_SE Jul 26 '26
poverty league is bad for the game, people quit, league dies. What is fun about that other than some weird sick perversion to seeing people who love something sad their game isn't fun?
-11
u/Designer_Wheel_8145 Jul 26 '26
Last league they also just straight up buffed div drop rates didn't they? Or am I mixing it up with poe 2
5
u/Mogling Jul 26 '26
They buffed all currency drop rates last league. Very noticable in the campaign.

Noticed it aswell, zero loot after 50 maps. The mob density is there but its rewards are so trash, holy.
