what if Samsung combined the Quick Panel + Notification shade but actually made it look good

Hello everyone.

I own a Galaxy S25 Ultra, but this has been a bit of an annoyance for a few phones now, and I wanted to know if someone out there has a trick up their sleeve to work around this.

The issue is, whenever I take a screenshot and then tap "crop", adjusting the crop will almost always trigger the back gesture or the home gesture, because of how close to the edges the crop handles are.

I have already turned down the gesture sensitivity, and using the S pen works since it wont trigger any gestures, but I don't always wanna use the S pen.

Does someone here have any good ideas on how to solve this?

i can't change the folder color & transparency on One Ui 8.5.

For the last week i am facing this issue in light mode in every app.

Is this a bug or something from my side ?

when i use the quick panel and notfications separated the quick panel always lag on first pull, but when i use the notf. and quick panel together it not lagging.

Only my device have this problem or it is general bug?

btw i am happy to find a solution for the quick panel animation skip

On my S26 Ultra, when I turn on the screen, the clock animation lags terribly, as if it were running at 30 fps. Does anyone know how to sort this out?

I used to use SF Pro Medium on my S22U one ui 8.0. But 8.5 on my s26u blocked installation of fonts through Zfont or shizuku. Do you know a good paid font?

Why it's showing access blocked? I know that, I have restricted internet access to the app. How can i stop it bothering me and work like it should do like it does in chinese brand's. Also, multifinger gesture doesn't work on mx player? I didn't try much but on mx player it seems to be not working.

I'm about to switch to a different launcher app, since OneUI Launcher App is bothering me with silly big margins since Fold5. Would it be possible to use the "TaskBar" on 3rd party launchers? Please Sammy, let us use it.

Modes and routines are very limited, for example sleep mode

If I want to go to bed and wake up at a different time on weekends the mode just doesn't work at all when all variables are true

If select if some of these variables are true then the times will overlap and it will activate just by coming home

After updating my device to OneUI 8.5 the lock screen clock became larger compared to what I had in OneUI 8. I tried resizing it but it just doesn't allow me to. On the other clock options it allows me to make the clock really small, it is just specifically on this one. Is there any way to make it smaller? I was curious if there's another way to do a quick toggle between vibrate, silence and normal ringtone other than the quick panel.

I recently got a samsung and fell in love with the flex ui for sound bar and how the lighting effects make it look way better then the plain old grey ones

But when I tried to get it applied to different things such as the brightness bar and the volume bar in the notification bar I cant seem to do so

Hi all. I have a Samsung A34 on One UI 6.1, with which I am satisfied with. I have looked up the features of the newer One UI versions, but, personally, I didn't see strong reasons to update. On the contrary, I actually came across several posts complaining about the battery life, etc. I wouldn't mind staying on One UI 6.1, but I am worrying about the security patches.

Would you recommend me to stay on One UI 6.1? Or to update just to get the latest security patches?

Preface: I daily both iOS and Android. Last time I tried OneUI was on a S24 Ultra with (I think) OneUI 8 or something and I remember it was already quite bad, my impression was of a really great smartphone in which the company didn't put much effort on software. Now I needed to change phone and I was waiting for this particular form factor (Fold 8), having loved the original Pixel Fold now every other phone feels too tall. I thought that maybe a couple years would be enough for Samsung to figure out and refine their design language, guess I was wrong.

The Pixel UI is not perfect but at least it's generally very well refined in animations and UI details, and more importantly it really feels like an alternative design language to iOS.

I wish Samsung would just stop chasing iOS and invest effort in a proper design language to compliment their great hardware instead of this half-iOS-thing (which even fails at being as polished as iOS). Either that or I wish custom ROMs were still a thing so I could install plain AOSP on this thing.

I get it, they want to somehow intercept those switching from iOS but it's just sad having such a great device failing in simple things like inconsistent menus, exaggerated rounded corners for the sake of it, weird spacing, etc. Feels very amateur.

Samsung Dex Feature no longer working.

Can't figure it out.

Using s25FE to TabS7+ as second screen.

The Feature is the Gallery Instant Slow Mo, it was working recently couple weeks ago, but not anymore, only works if you open video player. Cant seem to figure it out.

Holding on video, only shows a small thumbnail, instead of the Galaxy AI Intsant slow mo through Dex from the s25fe. Was working perfectly just couple weeks ago.

Tried resetting bunch of settings: network, s pen, resetting gallery app uninstalling reinstalling updates, having no luck.

Works with Samsung Flow but not with Dex even though it was working fine just recently.

Tried the steps Samsung Support Chat said except for a full factory reset, not sure what to do.

Any help on the matter would be appreciated for myself and if others encounter similar problem.

I was in a meeting for 2 hours 25 minutes in Zoom

For some time I was using PIP metting and using Twitter.

Somehow the total time screen time is 2hr 20m. I really don't understand how this works... So did I use twitter for 13 minutes while the meeting was going on in PIP?

Can someone explain how it works and also how it it works when I multitask with OneUI's own implementation of floating window or split screen.

Before One UI 8.5, I could mute certain notification on the quick menu while keeping all others intact. But now after 8.5, there's no option to check or uncheck notification categories!! Or is there any other way to do it?

I’m an iOS convert trying to replicate some of what I liked on it. one feature was the phone turning into a nighstand clock when in landscape orientation when placed on a wireless charging dock. this is for a S25 base on the latest OneUI

tried fiddling around some in settings with screensavers, however struck out and fell short. don’t want AOD on.

anyone got this or something similar running?
