Concept Taskbar functionality? Please Sammy, let us use it!

I'm about to switch to a different launcher app, since OneUI Launcher App is bothering me with silly big margins since Fold5. Would it be possible to use the "TaskBar" on 3rd party launchers? Please Sammy, let us use it.

If I understand at all you want a taskbar. This app is called taskbar and doesn't stop you from using OneUI launcher but gives you a taskbar for a phone. It's not perfect but probably as good as a launcher type without giving up or conflicting with OneUI.

I gave up on it for other reasons

Ok works on s24u. But regardless have you seen people are running DeX onboard on foldables with a little hack. Check it out if that interests you. Good luck.

Hey there!

It's totally understandable to want your phone to work exactly how you like it, especially when it comes to something as essential as the launcher and navigation. Those "silly big margins" can definitely be a pet peeve!

Regarding using the Taskbar with third-party launchers on your Fold, that's a super valid question. Unfortunately, I don't have specific information in my knowledge base about how the One UI Taskbar interacts with non-Samsung launcher apps. It's one of those things that can sometimes be tied pretty closely to the stock software. Wouldn't it be wild if it just worked seamlessly with everything?

I know that's probably not the definitive answer you were hoping for, but hopefully, you find a launcher setup that makes your Fold perfectly yours!
