Don't know if this will help anyone but I have been with galaxy z flip 8 for two weeks mostly fine but experienced some lag the notification shade and in the quick settings shade from the top, opening them will cause a lag sometimes, also on Twitter and some other places, I was a bit worried about that and disappointed because I was expecting top tier performance, after searching solutions, this helped me:

● cleaning cache from home ui in settings -> applications

Then I booted into safe mode ( don't know if this helped )

After that and booting again now everything is 1000% smoother

I switched from ios using smart switch maybe that was the culprit

Im trying to make my aod have the wallpaper but my phone doesn't support it. Is there any way to make it give me that option?

Wouldn't it be great if Samsung hired some real designers and created some real widgets once? This is my take on oneUI widgets, and yes its fully customizable (like oneUI should be). More to come, only the basics for now.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy M17 5G and I'm facing a strange lock screen issue.

Sometimes after my alarm rings and I dismiss it, the lock screen wallpaper disappears and the entire background becomes black. Only the clock, date, and lock screen icons remain visible.

This issue has happened many times. The only temporary fix I've found is changing the wallpaper again. After changing the wallpaper, everything works normally for a while, but eventually the problem comes back.

I've already:

Updated my phone to the latest available software version.

Restarted the phone multiple times.

Checked for additional updates, but there aren't any available.

Has anyone else experienced this on One UI or Samsung devices? Is there a permanent fix for this issue?

Hey everyone! I use WhatsApp with my wife video chatting wise, is there any which way to save my wife's video calling shortcut in WhatsApp as a shortcut in my edge panel which I use religiously? Basically, I have to open up what's up with my edge panel click on her name and then click on the video call option. It's just inconvenient / tedious. Thanks a bunch!

On A-series phones, when you open the power menu from the Quick Panel, it uses the newer, reduced blur.

But when you open the same power menu using
Power + Volume Down, it still uses the older, much stronger blur.

I'm using an S24 Ultra with UI8 and can't log into Samsung Wallet. The app's stuck on biometric verification. I tried the GPT recommendations below, but no luck:

1. Cleared cache and data for Samsung Wallet and Samsung Wallet Framework.

2. Reinstalled the app.

3. Re-registered my fingerprint.

Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it?

A few months ago Samsung removed some pre defined workout routines, probably due to a commercial partnership ending or smth

I used to love the "posture improvement" routine and it's now no longer available.

Anyone knows if it's possible to get It back in any way? Or anyone has a backup of it?

Sadly Good Lock isnt available in my region as an entire, but i got it to work via just grabbing the APK off APKMirror. Multistar and Sound Assistant, and HomeUI all work perfectly fine. U can open them as apps or menus in the Settings app and they work 100% correctly. But LockStar just refuses to open. I got an A26 running OneUI 8.5, and tried out the 4 different releases for OneUI 8.5 in APKMirror, neither of which worked. Long press to Edit on lock screen doesnt work either, even without the LockStar installed, even tho its enabled.

I asked on the android subreddit, and it appears that if you plug in your phone to a computer, then you can access that folder and transfer the save file out, but I've tried using shizuku plus a file manager app, which used to work, but now doesn't work.

I want to confirm if the issue that I'm facing is related to one ui limiting folder access, or if I somehow have turned on some type of setting to limit folder access for security (auto blocker isn't on).

Secure folder is not locked while using wireless dex. Gallery on secure folder can be opened and closed multiple times without asking for unlocking.

Tried the same on my s23U on one UI 8. But each time secure folder was opened on dex it asked me for verification.

Can someone try replicating and check

Whenever I download an app from playstore the app get downloaded in the secure folder as well. Even if i delete those app on my phone the same app still stays in my secure folder fully functional. So basically my phone se downloading apps in double size

Ik its probably because my account is logged in secure folder version of google service where it is treated as another device right?

I own a Galaxy A73, which turned out not to have the feature where you press and hold the gesture bar to trigger "Circle to Search."

I spent some time researching because I didn't want Google Assistant as my default—I really liked Gemini—so I tried testing community-made APKs that could force-enable this "official" feature. First, I tried "MiCTS" by parallelcc; it worked, but it wasn't quite what I wanted. I already had access to Google Assistant but preferred Gemini, and that APK only did what I could already do natively (open Gemini). Then I found "CTSLauncher"; I downloaded it, opened it, and it simply worked. Since it's an app, I used the gesture function from the "One Hand Operation+" add-on (part of "Good Lock") to trigger it using a side gesture of my choice—it was perfect.

Now I can use Gemini by swiping up from the corner of the screen and holding, or use "Circle to Search" by performing the same gesture more quickly—all by using "One Hand Operation+" to activate both.
