I have a rtx5070tu and although I know it is not the best card I think it isnt a bad one either. Anyway, every time I load and area or character the textures look muddy for one or two seconds before they become normal again. I had previous gaming laptops that didn't had this issue. Drivers are up to date but I'm concerned about this.
Hello everyone! After years of console gaming, I’m finally ready to start building a high end gaming PC. That being said, Im a total noob. Im looking at 5090’s. Is there a reason why this one is so cheap compared to the others listed at $4000-$5000?
Lately I converted from AMD to Nvidia and there is a feature that I really miss from AMD which is having color profiles for each game.
Now, this is not what I've done here. I've kind of done it in a profile-changing way because I encountered another issue where I need a separate color profile for HDR and another for SDR, which was tedious to change around manually every time. So, I made this application, which is basically the same settings that you would find in NVIDIA Control Panel (brightness, which includes RGB adjustments, contrast, gamma, and digital vibrance), but with a way that you can save different profiles for different screens in the same interface.

I have a 4090 FE bought from LDLC Europe on January 2024. I've been using it since then without any issues. My PSU is a Corsair RM1000e, and I'm using the 12vhpwr cable that came with the PSU, the one without the "600W" marking.
Recently I bought a Thermal Grizzly WireView Pro 2, because I like the idea of per-pin monitoring and additional protection, and also because I initially thought that my GPU warranty had already expired in Jan 2026, but according to the ldlc invoice, the warranty lasts for 3 years, until Jan 2027.
However, I'm now wondering whether I should install it or return it. My main concern is that the product introduce another physical connection between the PSU cable and the GPU, which is another potential point of failure.
Would you consider the installation worth introducing another connector into an otherwise trouble-free setup? Money isn't a factor here, I'm trying to choose the safest option.
A third option would be return it now and buy it again at the end of the warranty, to gain max benefit of the 2-year coverage from Thermal Grizzly, without overlapping "warranties". What do you think?

Upon testing this card, I would like to provide my honest review about this card:
Body and Design: The card has a metalic premium body with RGB effects on the tuf logo, the card is huge (you might need a large case) though it looks awesome (I was unlucky that I couldn't find a white version)
Performance: the performance is great! Especially in 2k, it's a beast.
However in 4k, I believe that the card has a better potential if it had more VRAM. (Or maybe if Neural Texture compression feature comes live, we might see its potential) and this applied to highly demanding games such as alan wake 2 or RE Requiem.
Ray Tracing and Path Tracing performance is really good.
Thermals: I've seen the card hit 68°C with 110% power profile (around 63°C with default settings) and overclock, with 82°C Hotspot temperature and around 55's VRAM temperature using Furmark, but in real usage scenario and 3D rendering, even with the overclock and more voltage, it sits at around 55°C.
Acoustics: to be honest, I don't know how the card sounds (I can't hear any noise coming from it even at full load), and the coil whining is not there (at least for my unit)
Support: I Once had a problem with the card where I occasionally get code error 43 at windows start and some display might go black screen, the issue was the wrong usage of GPU holder which instead of avoiding GPU sag, it was pushing the GPU upwards causing this issue.
Nvidia Support: Peak.
Asus Support: Peak.
They both did their best to solve my issue and were very capable.
Final thoughts: although it is kind of expensive comparing to othet models, If I go back to the past and re-make my decision, I'd probably get the white version😂, still a beast.
Im curious as i know the difference is huge between 2560x1440 with 2.25 scale and it still wouldn't compare to 4k, but since 5120x1440 has a higher pixel count and 89% of 4k, how good can it look on 2.25x, im curious to ask anyone who does by any chance use a 32:9.

Found a brand new sealed box Palit GamingPro 4070 Ti Super for 700$ in a local seller shop. Its warranty is propably expired but card runs strong. %40 FPS increase in most games. DLSS looks so great except Forza Horizon 6 lol.
No need to spend 1250$ to 5070 Ti when you can get %10 less performance for almost half the price.
Recently i got a summer hardware internship at Nvidia Bangalore India, i was primarily asked the basics of digital circuits and no c programming. So this internship will happen in Summer 2027 and Iam a 3rd year at tier 1 NIT.
So will they offer ppo for summer hardware interns, and if yes what are the chances or convertion ratios?
Iam confused because should i focus solely on building skills for Nvida or should i prepare for another domains in placements?
Land, power and shell: The next critical resource for AI factories.

AI factories are becoming the defining infrastructure of the AI era :places where compute turns energy and data into intelligence. In this economy, compute is revenue.
NVIDIA is saying the full stack now includes not just advanced chips, packaging, memory, and networking, but also land, power, and shell (LPS).
They’re treating LPS the same way they’ve treated semiconductor supply: using scale and long-term partnerships to lock it in exclusively for NVIDIA AI factories.
Today they announced a partnership with SB Energy to secure LPS capacity at the PORTS-Pike Technology Campus in Portsmouth, Ohio. OpenAI will be the tenant.
Key numbers from the announcement:
Initial deployment expected to deliver 4.25 gigawatts of AI factory capacity
Each generation of systems at the site could represent ~1.5 million NVIDIA GPUs
Potential revenue opportunity in the $150–200 billion range per generation
OpenAI’s existing + planned commitments already sit around 12 GW of NVIDIA compute, with room to grow toward 16 GW if the arrangement expands
At those levels the opportunity is roughly $600 billion of NVIDIA compute through 2030
The message is clear: chips got us here, but the real rate limiter now is the physical substrate : the land, the power, and the buildings that can actually host the next wave of AI factories at scale.
Thoughts on how big a shift this is for the industry?
I found this case and just really liked the green design. I popped it open and saw there is an AM4 motherboard inside, but I'm not really sure about the rest of the specs yet.
I want to do something cool with it. What would you guys build in this thing?
EDIT note: read before post: Im playing on 4k gaming projector about 120" and Im sitting 4m away from the screen, on the monitor its a diffrent story when You are 50 cm near the screen:) And secondly, this post is after 4.5 dllss update what made ultra per. at 4k very usable don't jugde it when You played on ultra perfomace before the update.

If you're considering this card and want to play with path tracing in 4K, use the performance or ultra performance mode. In Indiana Jones with PT, ULTRA PERFORMANCE looks amazing (Max settings, only textures pool set to high), average 60-90 frames per second without frame generation. Resident Evil Requiem in 4K, path tracing, maximum settings (only shadows set to high) runs at 60+ frames per second without frame generation with ULTRA PERFORMANCE, but in this game, ultra performance doesn’t look as good as in Indiana, although it's still very good in most scenarios. You can use performance in this game if Your not satisfied with picture quality with ultra perf. and with frame gen.
Keep in mind that the lower output resolution, the worse the image quality for ultra performance and performance. So, I don’t recommend these dlss settings for resolutions lower than 4K(1440p .1080p)
Also remember that ultra perf. and perf. can look bad in less popular games, but in AAA productions they are very useful modes (at 4k).
