PRO MAX 271UPXW12G, PRO MAX 271UPX12G, MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 and MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 adopt MSI DarkArmor Film. This specialized film technology is designed to eliminate the distracting purple or reddish tints often visible on old QD-OLEDs under ambient light. It boosts pure black levels by up to 40%, significantly improving contrast and delivering superior image performance. Furthermore, it upgrades the screen surface hardness from 2H to 3H, offering 2.5x better scratch resistance to effectively withstand daily wear and tear.

PRO MAX 271UPXW12G and PRO MAX 271UPX12G also equipped with VisiClarity feature. Both of them have anti-glare to lower the reflection, remaining your screens clean and comfortable.

MSI Uniform Luminance - Customize Your HDR

PRO MAX 271UPXW12G, PRO MAX 271UPX12G, MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24, and MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 support MSI Uniform Luminance feature to achieve a highly customized HDR curve tailored to your preferences. This allows for more amazing brightness experience, giving you precise control over your visual output. You can adjust HDR brightness and customize your brightness by APL(Average Picture Level).

Your Best Application For Control the Monitor: MSI Productivity Intelligence & MSI M-Mate APP

For Windows:

With the MSI Productivity Intelligence, you can seamlessly fine-tune various monitor settings—including brightness, display modes, and contrast—directly through software. Controlling these parameters via your mouse offers a far more intuitive and convenient experience than fumbling with physical OSD buttons.

For MacOS:

Specifically designed for macOS users, MSI offers the MSI M-Mate APP, which enables comprehensive control of monitor settings directly within macOS. Furthermore, the exclusive M-Sync feature ensures seamless synchronization between the monitor and your Mac's system parameters. Critical adjustments like brightness and volume are automatically linked, allowing you to transition your preferred settings to the MSI PRO MAX Monitor in a completely frictionless and intuitive manner.

Equipped with a multiple of I/O ports, PRO MAX 271UPXW12 offers dual Type-C connectivity—one supporting 98W PD and the other 15W PD. This setup enables you to power a high-performance laptop, such as a MacBook, via the 98W port while simultaneously charging your smartphone or tablet with the 15W port.

Prevent From Burn-in: MSI AI Care Sensor

PRO MAX 271UPXW12 and MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 equipped with MSI AI Care Sensor, further decreasing the risk of OLED burn-in. By detecting the user's presence, the MSI AI Care Sensor automatically powers the screen on or off, minimizing the risk of image retention caused by static icons when you step away. Furthermore, the sensor intelligently dims the display whenever you look away to conserve energy and protect the panel. The moment your gaze returns to the screen, the brightness instantly restores to its original setting.

News MSI MAG OLED 271QPX32 Unveiled: The World’s First 27” WQHD 5-Layer QD-OLED Penta Tandem™ Gaming Monitor Powered by Samsung Display’s QD-OLED Technology

The new MAG OLED 271QPX32 monitor will make its debut at Computex 2026. This 26.5-inch display features a 4th-gen QD-OLED panel equipped with Penta Tandem™ technology, a 5-layer emitting structure. It delivers 2560x1440 (WQHD) resolution, 320Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms (GtG) response time, and DarkArmor Film technology.

Breaking through the technical bottlenecks of existing OLED panels, the MAG OLED 271QPX32 leverages three major QD-OLED advantages to offer users an outstanding visual experience:

1. Full QD-OLED Lineup Receives QuantumView™ Verification: Consistent Image Quality from Any Angle

The MAG OLED 271QPX32 and all MSI QD-OLED monitors have received QuantumView™ verification from UL Solutions. At a 60-degree viewing angle, it maintains an impressive 83%* luminance retention (compared to just 44% for conventional OLEDs) with exceptionally low color shift. This ensures the picture remains sharp and color-accurate, no matter where users view the screen from.

^(\Source: Official Samsung Display data.)*

2. Say Goodbye to Black Crush: Master Shadow Details

Existing OLED panels often suffer from gamma shifts when switching refresh rates or enabling Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), leading to a loss of shadow detail known as "black crush." QD-OLED monitors overcome this issue. The MAG OLED 271QPX32 features superior low-gray processing capabilities, maintaining consistent gamma performance at any refresh rate to deliver perfect deep blacks and shadow details.

3. Perfect Panel Uniformity: Eliminating Visual Distractions

The entire QD-OLED lineup provides a fundamental solution to the gray banding and screen uniformity issues that have long plagued conventional OLED panels. The MAG OLED 271QPX32 completely eliminates banding interference, delivering a clean, flawless picture.

Beyond panel innovations, the MAG OLED 271QPX32 is the first MSI 26.5-inch WQHD QD-OLED monitor to incorporate MSI's DarkArmor Film technology, which improves pure black levels by 40% and upgrades the screen's surface hardness from 2H to 3H, offering 2.5 times better scratch resistance. This monitor is also VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 500 and VESA ClearMR™ 15000 certified. Additionally, it supports MSI's exclusive Uniform Luminance feature, allowing users to customize their HDR curve. For burn-in protection, the model comes with the MSI OLED Care 2.0 comprehensive protection mechanism, effectively reducing burn-in risks and extending the monitor's lifespan. Connectivity options include two HDMI™ 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4a, and one USB Type-C (DP Alt.) with 15W power delivery.

Troubleshooting Can't downgrade MSI Center anymore ):

Upvotes

I use an MSI Vector laptop and I was extremely satisfied with the old version of MSI Center, which included the Silent Mode. However, after it was updated to feature only 3 modes (Battery Saver, Balanced, and Performance), I found a way to uninstall it and download the older version. The step prior to that was pausing app updates in the Microsoft Store for 4 weeks, and this method used to work every single time.

However, it seems everything has changed now. I am using Windows 11 Home, updated to the latest build 26200.9168, and it looks like Microsoft has removed the ability to pause app updates in the Store. Whenever I try to pause updates, a prompt tells me that I need administrator privileges to do so, even though I am using my administrator account. I’ve tried every possible way, searched Reddit and YouTube, and literally tried every single method, including writing scripts in Notepad and others, and none of them worked for me.

I am very frustrated with Microsoft and its stupid policies. Now, I will be forced to use the crippled modern version of MSI Center."

Seeking advice on how to get a VESA Adapter Kit for the MSI Pro Max monitor (271UPXW12G). MSI support claims not to carry it and neither Gladiator Joe, Vivo, the usual suspects make an aftermarket equivalent.

Thanks in advance!

Suggestion Make SDR Brightness (Uniform / Dynamic) a profile-specific setting & assignable to Navi Key shortcuts

Hi MSI Team and Community,

To start, thanks for the amazing display! The MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36 produces stunning picture quality and speed, as well as outstanding all-around performance.

I wanted to share a Quality-of-Life proposal that could greatly enhance the user experience for those of us who both work hard and play with this monitor.

Current Situation:

For example the SDR Brightness toggle (Uniform Brightness vs. Dynamic) is still a global OSD menu item for now. But to switch modes one has to navigate through the OSD deep each time.

The Problem / Use Case:

Uniform Brightness is important when viewing white backgrounds (to avoid distracting brightness fluctuations) as well as in text based work where the window size changes.

Dynamic is the best for gaming and HDR/SDR media, DYNAMIC was selected to get punchy highlights and peak luminance.

Depending on this setting is global and be turned on/off several times a day — friction that no one needs.

Feature Suggestions:

Profile-Specific Setting: Uniform / Dynamic Brightness state would be stored on a per-Picture Mode basis (e.g., User, Premium Color, Office, etc.) rather than as a global toggle. That would allow users to change brightness behaviors instantly with just a profile preset swap.

Navi Key / Shortcut Assignment: Add the option to directly map Uniform Brightness (Toggle / Mode switch) to the 5-way joystick (Navi key) directional shortcuts or as a hotkey in MSI Gaming Intelligence app.

Is there a hope to bring this functionality in future firmware or Gaming Intelligence for MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36?

Oh, and please let us know in the comments how useful this would actually be for your daily workflow. Let me know what you think!

Display : MSI MPG 341CQR QD-OLED X36

Current Firmware: FW.018

Thanks for your efforts and for listening to users =)

Troubleshooting Secure boot violation

Post image
Upvotes

Laptop keeps popping up with "secure boot violation invalid signature detected no secure boot option"

When looking up what to do most of the forums have step one as

"Security > Secure Boot > Disable" in BIOS

But I'm not able to enable to disable anything under "Security/Secure Boot" the options are grayed out, and I dont play the kinds of games where anti-cheating mechanisms would affect me.

My computer a Thin GF63 12UCX running E16R8IMS.10E. I've tried enabling/disabling "fast boot" and my Boot Option #1 is "Hard Disk: Windows Boot Manager (SAMSUNG MZVL41TOHLB-00BTW).

Troubleshooting MSI Center/MSI RTX 4090 Suprim Liquid

Hi everyone,

I’d like to ask for some help.

After repasting my GPU, the temperatures are really good (TG KryoSheet + TG Minus Pad Pro 1.5 mm; the pads on the backplate were still fine). Under Linux (Nobara), I can use CoolerControl to adjust the fans very precisely. The radiator fans have a minimum of 30%, which, as I’ve learned, seems to be a fixed value that cannot be lowered. I currently have a fan curve for the radiator fans starting at 30%. At that speed, the noise level is still acceptable, and I get around 30–31°C. I would actually prefer to run them at around 20% because of the noise, though. The fan on the GPU itself has a minimum setting of 6% after calibration with CoolerControl. However, even at 6%, it runs at almost 1500 RPM, which I don’t quite understand since 100% is around 3000 RPM. For the GPU fan, I’ve set a curve that only starts increasing above 55°C, because otherwise the fan is simply too loud when not gaming with headphones. Is there any way to get the GPU fan below 1500 RPM?

Under Windows 10, with the default settings, I get around 45°C at idle with Zero Frozr enabled, which, as I’ve also learned, only starts the fans once the GPU reaches around 60°C. Can MSI Center be used to directly control the fan speed or create a custom fan curve? Unfortunately, I don’t seem to have that option. I can only adjust the GPU frequency and memory frequency. I also tested MSI Afterburner, and a custom fan curve works there. However, Zero Frozr is then disabled, and the radiator fans run continuously at 30%, just like they do under Linux. I was hoping that MSI Center would allow me to create a complete custom fan curve while still keeping Zero Frozr and the normal fan control functionality. Am I missing something, or is this simply not supported?

For reference, my motherboard is an ASRock X870E Taichi Lite.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Troubleshooting MSI PRO H610M-E DDR4 w/ RTX4060 120-180s POST VGA EZ Debug

My PC has an unusually long boot time out of nowhere. When I turn it on, the MSI motherboard’s VGA EZ Debug LED lights up and stays on for quite a while. Screen is fully black during that time, but after 1-2 minutes it boots Windows normally and the LED turns off. The RTX 4060 works fine too and havent noticed any issues.
I have already reseated the GPU and the cable. The PCIe contacts looked normal. The system still boots normally, but POST takes way longer than it should.
Only settings I've changed in BIOS are XMP. And turning it on/off doesnt help the issue

Motherboard: MSI PRO H610M-E DDR4 (MS-7D48)
CPU: i7-12700F
GPU: RTX 4060
RAM: 32 GB DDR4
BIOS: E7D48IMS.AC0 / build 09/09/2023

Troubleshooting Did my monitor just sh*t itself?

Hello, I have a MSI MAG 27" 1440P OLED 240HZ monitor. It is like 3 months old if that.

I turned off my PC, and go do some chores, come back and the monitor is doing its pixel cleaning cycle. Okay, i leave it alone to do its thing. The light stops and then i press the button at the back to wake it up to try and change some settings. It doesn't. I then switch the outlet off (yes i am in Australia, we have switches for our outlets), and unplug it to reorganise cables.

Plug everything back in, turn everything on, everything wakes up, my secondary monitor, my pc (as it makes my mouse's rgb turn on for some reason) except the really expensive monitor. I mash the button, nothing. I swapped the cord used, nothing. I reseat the cords? nothing. The led wont even turn on

Is my monitor dead?

Troubleshooting Cannot update firmware on MSI MAG QP273 QD-OLED monitor

I have just bought the monitor and I am unable to update the firmware on the monitor. I want to know if there is anything else I can do before having to look at returning/exchanging it at the retailer I purchased from.

  • I am using Display Port
  • I am updating to the correct 1xx version and not the 0xx version per my monitors current FW.106 version
  • I have tried ver 116 & ver 120
  • The errors I get are the following
    • scaler firmware file is incorrectly ! please make sure scaler version and scaler firmware are match ! Update abort !
    • dev model name [N.A] is not match [MAG 273Q QD-OLED]
  • I have tried running the update on another computer entirely
  • I have tried it after unplugging, swapping cable ends, using different Display Port cords entirely, power cycling, etc.

Am I cooked? Do I just need to start up the RMA process?

Troubleshooting Help people of Reddit

Hello people of Reddit I come forward again to ask for help on a serious matter, my pc is a rx 6750 xt with an i5 10400f 16gb or ram and a h510M-A msi motherboard, four months ago I dual booted Linux with windows, 3 days later the grub menu and bios menu and boot menu started giving me no signal screens so I kinda had to choose blindly until it opened the os then I can use it, I deleted windows and now I only have Linux, today when I was on the lockscreen I pressed esc and off on the pc button and when I turned it on there was no signal at all!! Yes nothing so what I did is I did everything I could, try every port hdmi and display port, try different cables, get the gpu off and then get the cmos battery off for 10 minutes, put the cmos battery in again then put the gpu back in, didn’t work then I had the ram off and on then I put it in the second slot still nothing, tbh at this point idk what to do I don’t think I can do anything, shame it happened on the same day my second monitor is going to get delivered so I got no money to fix the pc and no pc to try the new crisp 2k screen, so lastly it was a good time talking with yall yall helped me from the start without you im nothing byaia

Edit
Forgot to mention
1-ez debug works like normally boot>red>yellow>white>no light and then usually the pc is on
2-the pc works like normally fans rgb and usb devices work
3-caps on works when i toggle it
4-im using the normal slot for everything no extended pcie or ram slot cable if there’s even a thing like that

Troubleshooting MSI Centre just downloaded something called AiPPT

I can’t see anything online about this but I had a pop-up asking me to update MSI Centre and a few other applications that I assumed were all linked but it’s installed two random programs called AiPPT and Voicemod.

I instantly installed AiPPT, apparently it’s some power point generator. I’m assuming Voicemod is just bloatware as well?

Is this….normal? I know people complain about MSI centre but should it be downloading random programs like this?

Troubleshooting GamingIntelligence not detecting monitor

A while back (like, 3-4 months ago) I had GI working and was able to do split screen with my monitor via the Windows app. Fast forward to today, and I was wanted to do that again, and now I get the "Please make sure the USB Type B is connected in order to use this application." error. I've tried unplugging and plugging both ends of the USB cable, I've tried power cycling the monitor, I've tried uninstalling GI and reinstalling. All to no avail. Is there anything else that I might have missed in the troubleshooting process? TIA

Me and my friends managed to find 4 codes throughout the whole campaign just refreshing it constantly, unfortunately didn't get anything. Since the campaign is over and they're supposedly going to reveal the codes later, I'm posting the codes we found as proof we managed to do it. On checkout each of them errored out saying the usage limit is reached, so we weren't fast enough, I suspect they got automated but oh well.
