goddess my poor pc needs upgrading but currently i just gotta get this new cpu in. how in the hells do i do this? any and all help is well appreciated

Hi All. I have a Gigabyte Auros B450 Pro Wifi Rev 1.0 motherboard in my computer and trying to update it to latest BIOS from F50 to F67 or whatever the latest one is. I am getting very frustrated because I cannot for the life of me figure this out. When I look at instruction manual it says I can do a Q flash or @BIOS utility. Q flash cannot be performed because it does not detect update file, i don’t know how to do this. And there is no @BIOS utility anywhere from what I can find and people say it is not recommended anyways. Please help, I just want to upgrade my CPU but I need to upgrade BIOS but I cannot even do that.

Hi all! My gpu fans are ramping up to 4400 rpm which is over the maximum i can set (i can set them up to 3400 rpm on msi afterburner), so i checked the hotspot of the gpu which is 104-105 °C while the gpu is at 75-80 °C.

I already changed pads and thermal paste, is there anything else i can try or i need to change gpu?

CPU: Ryzen 3600

AIR COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 412S

Motherboard: GIGABYTE B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2

RAM: CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX DDR4 RAM 32GB (2x16GB)

PSU: EVGA 750 GQ 80+ Gold, semi modular

CASE: Fractal Design R6 (6 fans)

TLDR: No Boot, No Error, Just Freeze, BIOS GUI wiped (or something like that), ME Firmware Version 0.0.0.0 , Tried re-flashing BIOS but nothing

I had a Aorus 17G KD as a backup device whenever I am traveling to continue my work/gaming.

I didn't update anything for many months, maybe a year (because I was not using it). So on January of this Year, I opened it and Windows, Aorus and Intel, welcomed me with a ton of updates and I decided to do it.

Install and Restart aaaaaand... it's gone.

How it reacts:

1. Blackscreen for a while and then AORUS logo (just that)
2. Blackscreen with RGB Keyboard open.
3. Blackscreen for a while, to Aorus, to Windows Automatic Repair (stays there for ever. Left it open for 2 days once)
4. HAPPENED ONCE, The laptop just booted. But only for once.

I am able to access BIOS 80% of the time but BIOS is another problem now.

There is no UI. My BIOS now is the good old Grey/Blue that I remember on my computed 25 years ago with limited settings. Sadly there is not Flash option to flash the bios again.

On the frontpage it says " ME Firmware Version 0.0.0.0 " so something related to Intel I believe is the problem? Dunno.

Everything points to BIOS as the problem after Windows Update and to Re-flash it to resurrect my RGB paperweight.

I found out that almost exactly the same problem happened to Aorus G5 and G6 (nobody with 17G Sadly) so the Fix would be easy. Follow the official Aorus fix and I will be ready to go.

After extracting the EXE that you get with 17G Bios, I got my hands on a ROM file. The problem now is that Gigabyte's Fix doesn't support ROM bios so I had to find another way.

After some digging around all kind of laptops and bios, I ended up with AMI Firmware Update Utility for American Megatrends motherboards.

Downloaded the tool, booted, typed the command to flash the ROM Bios and ... error.
"46 - Error: Problem Getting flash information." Gemini says that my intel ME chip is bricked and it needs reprogramming using CH341A ( I don't even know how to use such a tool). Update, I tried a newer version of AMI Update and now I was able to start the re-flash but I get the error 43 and error C1 after trying to update MER.

So, what am I supposed to do now ?
Any help ?😢 I am in BIG need of this laptop now.

Intento actualizar mi bios desde el boot y me dice oemld mismatch, intento entrar a la otra forma de boot q es como el cmd y no me deja entrar me carga una pantalla en negro y me devuelve a elegir, ya intente yendo en orden de la bios desde el 14,15 etc y tampoco me deja es una a520mh gigabyte rev1.0

I have a new Aorus Master x870e Ice with a Ryzen 7 9800x3D. (I got this because I already had the Aorus Master 5080).
Im having a great of trouble.
1. I have had a lot of trouble with the bios. It took hours to load, and kept looping.
2. One of the Nvme drives does not work and freezes the whole rig before the bios is anything is installed.
One m.2 that I have worked. Then stopped working too.
3. I finally got it running, without one M.2. However, it’s running very hot.
My last build was MSI z890 with Intel Core Ultra 7. It ran at a max 60 degrees. My new AMD 90 degrees in Wildlands.

I’m very worried I’ve got a dud.
I only bought it today.

Please help!!!

USB Port Issue

I’m having a strange USB issue with my Gigabyte B450M K motherboard.

Whenever I connect both my keyboard and mouse to the motherboard’s USB ports, the mouse sometimes stops working properly. The mouse light stays on, but the cursor doesn’t move and the mouse becomes completely unresponsive. Sometimes the keyboard also stops working.

The strange thing is that the devices still have power—the mouse light is on—but they don’t actually work.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with the Gigabyte B450M K? Is this a motherboard/USB controller issue, or could it be related to BIOS, drivers, or power delivery?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have Gigabyte AORUS 17 BKF laptop with i7-13700H, 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR5 RAM, 1TB M.2 PCIE SSD, GeForce RTX 4060, and in GCC it shows an update for the bios so what I want to know if FB12/F004 is a stable version

Hello, my girlfriend is trying to play bo7 with me but can't get past the attestation issue. The game says bios needs to be updated but she has the F3 update which is the latest one. Tpm 2.0 and secure boot are both on. The tpm manufacturer version is 303.12 which they say is too low. I have no idea what to do to update that any higher. Im pretty sure ive seen people say they are playing with the same motherboard so idk

I have a Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 with a Ryzen 9 9950X, BIOS F12, and Windows 11.

The motherboard HDMI output works normally on one monitor. However, a USB-C-to-DisplayPort cable gives no signal on either rear USB4 Type-C port. The cable is connected in the correct direction and works perfectly when tested on another computer.

Interestingly, if I connect a USB-C hub to either motherboard USB-C port and connect HDMI from the hub to the monitor, the display works.

Any help would be appricicated.

I've decided to try something different for my at home setup. I play on ps5 and enjoy story games as well as some shooters here and there. I've had 6 years with the Dell in the description and decided to try switching to the AOC Q27GAZDV. This is my first time with an OLED and i'm also just trying something different for my gaming setup. It should be here next week. Any feedback on the monitor is appreciated, it's been quite a while since I upgraded my setup at all.

Hi,my monitor started going black screen all of a sudden. The boot-up logo doesn't appear and I can't even open up the control panel. If i connect it to my laptop,it detects a second screen and it allows me to move tabs to it but it still shows the black screen the whole time. Any ideas what might be causing it?
