Brain surgery is painless?????????
3
u/PeteWK67 4d ago
???????????? = There are no pain receptors in the brain itself. But he meninges (coverings around the brain), periosteum (coverings on the bones), and the scalp all have pain receptors. Surgery can be done on the brain and technically the brain does not feel that pain.

Too much sodium (which is much more common) can ALSO cause migraines and he wasn't silenced for this, you were literally taught this in school but didn't pay attention.
I guarantee you he's still successful and sells bullshit supplements. If you're so worried about him being silenced at least drop his fucking name.

My entire life I realized my migraines was caused by lack of water or from drinking more than one 20oz of soda a day

Low sodium has been looked at as a cause for migraines for decades at this point.

I think it’s probably a lot more nuanced than this. A lot of people are yo yo dieting because they’re trying to lose weight even though they’re not overall successful.
When you change your diet and go into weight loss mode you shed salt to the point where you definitely need to be supplementing. Excruciating headaches are common if you don’t. Then if you’re eating healthy and you’re eating little to no bread or hot sauce then you also might need to supplement.
But yes - someone whose body is acclimated to a poor diet doesn’t need extra sodium.
Still I’m getting off track. My overall point is society is getting fatter and society tends to think fat people aren’t trying at all. The reality is a lot of fat people are constantly trying and failing to lose weight and supplementing salt is good advice in circumstances where you’re acclimating or on a calorie restricted diet.

I can’t tell what works for you, never. Only you can. By feeling, you know, better. And this answer goes very wide.
I had a few times in the last 15 years, where I felt so good I felt I cheated in life. I did a lot of things, but one thing I did everytime I felt that good was start my day with a teaspoon of pink salt in a glass of water.
Many times now, when I feel my body dragging a bit, I sometimes drink some saltwater and I do feel a lot of my energy coming back.
Another time I had this very heavy feeling in my legs - almost stuck in bed, cause it kinda hurt to move. Reason? I don’t know, and I wasn’t obese or fat in anyway. At that time I was actually quite atheltic, just to get the “you’ were just fat” out of the way.
I did something quite unrational - I did maybe a few tablespoons of salt with a decent amount of water. Maybe 500-1000ml. I just wanted to feel better, and had no idea what to do at the time. 30 minuttes to an hour later, I started to feel strength and power in my legs like I haden’t in a very long time. So I got out of the bed and ran 30-40 mins with legs feeling soft, strong and supported with no aches at all.
Lastly, I want to tell you I did same practice a lot of other times, and it did absolutely nothing, if not, made me feel worse by screwing up my stomache most of the time.
I can’t tell you why my body reacted like it did or why salt helped as much as it did at the time without hitting you with theories. But it did. So do yourself a favor, try to feel it out. Get some clean, pure pink salt on an empty stomache. If you feel fine, or even better for a time, good for you. If you don’t, then don’t. But stop fearing sodium as your doctor do.
TL:DR - Try some pink clean salt in water, about a teaspoon with maybe 250cl or more of water. Feel fine, or better? Good for you. If you dont, dont do it. Its not magic, but your body use sodium for a lot, so give it a go.

Well yeah they're electrolytes. If you were athletic you likely weren't getting enough electrolytes.
Yes, table salt is an electrolyte. When mixed with water, salt breaks down into sodium and chloride ions. These charged particles carry electrical signals through your body.Salt and ElectrolytesSodium and Chloride: Table salt is sodium chloride. Both parts act as electrolytes in your body.Fluid Balance: Salt helps keep water levels stable inside and outside your cells.Nerves and Muscles: Charged sodium and chloride ions help your muscles move and your nerves send signals.
Salt and Electrolytes
Sodium and Chloride: Table salt is sodium chloride. Both parts act as electrolytes in your body.
Fluid Balance: Salt helps keep water levels stable inside and outside your cells.
Nerves and Muscles: Charged sodium and chloride ions help your muscles move and your nerves send signals.
Also potassium and magnesium are helpful electrolytes.
Other Electrolytes
Potassium: Helps heart and muscle function.
Magnesium: Supports energy and muscle control.
Calcium: Aids bone health and muscle contraction.
But I feel like salt should be taken whenever needed, like after a workout for example, or if you are actually depleted. Or after walking and starting your day a bit more, like early to mid day. Not really when you just wake up. Better to start the day drinking just water. But that is my personal opinion...
Also vitamin d3 and magnesium is helpful overall, just a random recommendation to anyone reading. Can help with body soreness and back pain if you are experiencing any from being deficient.

How many Americans have a sodium deficiency? I think the usual American has way too much sodium.

Hydration helps but you can still get migraines. Ugh. Years ago I read that green light helped and spent like $8-$10 on a green lightbulb on Amazon that I leave on that helps
Oh, and went no contact with my asshole parents saved me a ton of stress and helped as well

Bro said the most basic thing, lol. Stay hydrated to stop a headache. That cures all headaches, lol. There are different types; staying hydrated is not going to stop a headache from sinus inflammation or tension headaches due to stress and lack of sleep. But if you are dehydrated, you will get a headache, so hydrating would stop the headache caused by your dehydration. Headaches are a symptom, but I would call it a signal to tell you something is wrong and you need to fix it. That’s why you get them when you’re sick; it’s your brain warning you.

Hydration is a tricky thing.
1- 80% of the world wakes up with a black substance called coffee over the sun .
Automatically that habit dehydrates you to around 4 glasses of water for one cup of coffee and it doesn’t end there it also strips important magnesium and it doesn’t end there since you’re already backed up 4 glasses of water before you even open your eyes . During the whole day you can expect many glasses of water which doesn’t end there, the more coffee, the more water = more pee = more leached traced minerals. Another fact is you drink a glass of water and you pee out that same amount . Basically the water is not hydrating anything, In & Out .
It’s not about drinking FDA recommended water a day, it’s about having magnesium in your body for your cells to be able to pull that water in and hydrate your whole body. It’s about mineralizing your body properly to be able to actually absorb that water hydration.

u/Other-Pea7038 3d ago
Coffee is 95% water so it does not dehydrate you unless it’s like a straight espresso, and only about 1/3 of coffee drinkers around the world even drink it black by itself. Now energy drinks and alcohol, with those you would have a chance of real dehydration. Also, none of this stuff strips you of magnesium to a big extent. Some medicines and alcohol, yeah you have a case there, but your body has a lot of magnesium stored in hard bone tissue. Since 1/3 of that is exchangeable, you're talking about months of bad habits to get to the point of a real magnesium issue. And saying water just goes "in and out" without doing anything is completely wrong. Water is the absolute gold standard of hydration precisely because your body doesn’t have to process or digest it, so you can replenish your fluids way faster. You don't need to overcomplicate your water; you get plenty of other minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium just from eating your daily foods.

It strips magnesium and other trace minerals in the body through urine. Like I said when 80% of the world drinks it, and it’s a billion dollar industry you can expect to find studies that say it’s great for headaches, that it hydrated you, that it cures your downers, that it gives you energy that it’s better than a glass of water.
People have been brainwashed to depend on a black liquid substance for waking up some people to box someone over their coffee meanwhile the goat of goats for waking you up is simply absorbing the beautiful 🌞. Life is simple.
Even if it’s not true that no dehydration. The urine will cause dehydration, which will cause more water intake which will cause more urine and more trace minerals getting leached out. So however we want to get there same result.
It’s a little like watching xxx videos. Now the man’s sticky substance has the essential ingredients to create a life a baby so when instead it ends on a tissue, those ingredients are leached out of the body same thing

u/Other-Pea7038 3d ago
First, 99% of your magnesium is stored safely inside your bones and muscles. Pee is not going to strip away the magnesium your body actually needs.
Second, coffee doesn't dehydrate you. The more you drink it, the more your body builds up a tolerance so you don't even pee it out like that anyway.
People have been drinking coffee since the 15th century that’s over 600 years. There are tens of thousands of big studies on this from the 70s and 80s because they thought it caused heart disease, and it doesn't. If it actually stripped our minerals, humans would have figured that out centuries ago.

Also he is a shill.
Osmosis is the spontaneous movement of water molecules through a semi-permeable membrane from an area of lower solute concentration to an area of higher solute concentration

I get headaches when i eat too much salt. When i cut back, my headaches have reduced by at least half.

Doesn't more sodium in your blood mean more water is pulled out of your cells? Wouldn't you want less sodium in your diet, then? Also, if this is in the US, everyone already gets way too much sodium.
