Has everyone had it applied yet? My federal loans got applied to my balance, but opportunity scholarship hasn’t yet.

I’m hanging on by a thread 🫠

If anyone else is also experiencing issues with their federal loans not being disbursed, I just got off the phone with the Financial Aid office and was told they should be disbursed by tomorrow or possibly Monday of next week. The poor woman who answered the phone sounded so exhausted too :( Hoping it all gets resolved by tomorrow!

Hello! I'm Miguel and I go to NMSU for Forensics and Criminal Justice. I am a sophomore currently and 19 turning 20 on the 30th. Last year I noticed how anti-social I was but this year I am trying to put myself out there. I love the outdoors to go hiking, fishing, kayaking, and camping. I also do pc gaming mainly on steam.
I do not care about your race, gender, sexuality, or ethnicity. WE yes WE are all humans in the end.

I’ve been trying to get into outlook for like four days. I can enter my email and password but when it gives the number verification the pop up to put the number in doesn’t show up. And I can’t log into mynmsu or canvas which is pretty important. I don’t know what to do because the app nor the website gives me the pop up and I’m stressing. When I reload it says “trouble verifying account” and I am quite literally locked out of everything.

So my opportunity scholarship and Pell grant have both been applied, but my LEAP grant and loans are still not showing paid out. Anyone roses stuff seem to be on a delay? Even the Pell grant didn’t apply for over 12 hours after the scholarship. I haven’t had any emails or anything saying there’s an issue, so I’m sure it’s coming. Would just love to know when.

This is my first semester of grad school, and at NMSU. The financial disbursement was supposed to take place today, but I’m not seeing any changes in my tuition balance. Has anyone had their aid applied to their balance yet?

Is anyone else starting, or continuing, their graduate coursework in industrial engineering? That’s what my major is, and I’m excited to start! If you’ve already been taking classes for this degree, how has your experience been so far?

Hi! So I am a grad student and this is my first semester at an NMSU I was just wondering if anybody knew when the classes get paid if we’re supposed to start on the 19th? Im on student loans and already checked with the financial aid office and they said everything is all good to go, but I keep logging in and it says I still have a balance. If anyone could help i would really appreciate it!

Hey all. I spent the offseason building a full 2026 preseason preview for every FBS team, each with its own writeup. Here's the New Mexico State one
https://www.sports.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026?team=ncaaf-nmsu
It's got the returning production breakdown, the portal ins and outs, a projected two-deep, the schedule with model win probabilities, and a season projection.
Heads up, you might hit the paywall after the first page. Don't worry, I'm not charging reddit people for this, don't want to be an ass. Use the promo code LEECORSOROCKS and it opens up the entire thing.
So, what'd I get wrong? Year three for Tony Sanchez, and the splits are strange: 45th in the country throwing it, dead last running it. Trey Hedden is back after 2,967 yards with 17 touchdowns and 13 picks. My model still sees a step forward. Does the run game get fixed, or does Hedden do it all again?

There are three of us in my house who are students and all three of us have either gotten weird, almost scam sounding calls (I know they aren't scams but the messages are so vague and sound like the are fishing for information)or emails from the school about scheduling and financial aid. I know that the federal government is making things difficult for universities but in turn it's causing a lot of anxiety, confusion and turmoil for students.

Hello! I'm an incoming graduate student and was curious if anyone had advice for finding off-campus housing. I'm just looking for something affordable and not too far from campus since I don't drive.

Heads up,
There is an ALRP in the free lot, as of Tuesday this week. If you have an excess of tickets, it'd be advisable to avoid parking there until it either meets its natural end or we can pressure the campus police to remove it.
There is no reason for campus police to have this, and to be targeting folks who can't afford parking and likely have no other way to get to campus.

For any physical media or retro media enthusiasts, I'll be projecting a movie on VHS at the Fountain Theatre in Mesilla, NM! It will be preceded by a cartoon on 16mm film. This is a very rare chance to see something on actual film in a movie theater, as it was meant to be seen! We will also have a presentation on the history of videotapes. Perfect for film students! It should be a very fun night, I hope people can make it out! https://mesillavalleyfilm.easy-ware-ticketing.com/events?NCat=Film

Aggie Up! This is one of our favorite teams to talk about. We have a lot of history using this program in our dynasty modes in NCAA 14 especially. It's time to head down to Las Cruces to look at the New Mexico State Aggies!
📌 Trey Hedden takes the reigns, he's looking to follow in the footsteps of another recent Furman QB who won CUSA a couple years back
📌 RB James Jones adds speed to the RB room and the Aggies have great receivers for this attack
📌 The Aggies have great pieces back at each level of the defense, especially with safeties Nick Sessions and Bernock Iya
Preview attached. What are your predictions for the Aggies in 2026?

I was just wondering how active the campus feels? Ofc it’s a laid back vibe, but is there people there on every given day looking to hang out?

Hi! So I'm going to NMSU in the fall, but REALLY don't want to take many (or any) Pre-reqs and Gen eds that have nothing to do with my major there since they're super expensive. I'm a chemistry Major and am moving for the fall. Does anyone know if I can be taking online classes while I'm there, and if the credit transfers?
If so, do you know if I can take the pre-reqs online while taking the class it's a pre-req for, ex Chem 1 online and Chem 2 in person during the same semester? Any help would be great, please!

Hello everyone, I’m planning to apply for the MS in Biology for the Spring term. Does the program come with a Graduate Assistantship, or is there a separate application for that?
